Farm Town - HTML5/WebGL Version

The transition to the new platform has not been simple, quick or easy.
Due to this the new version of the game is currently a restricted version.

Once you have loaded the game you will see you do not have all the features that you used to have yet. Restricted means that not all the features are added to the new version of the game yet.

To start with you will be able to do your own farming and designing.

The rest of the features will be added back as soon as the developers are able to do so over the coming weeks.

Until the rest can be added back you won't have access to everything that was possible in the flash version. For example, if you look in your toolbox you will see that the unavailable items are temporarily greyed out preventing you from using them.

The more you have check marked to show in your preferences, the more it has to load first time round. Expect the first load to be slow especially if you have large and heavy farms and an older computer. This will improve on the next reload.

Some of you may find it easier to load the new version if you do not clear browser caches every day IF pretty much all you do is play Farm Town. However when there are updates to the new version you still may have to clear them if you find something isn't working right so that you get the updated version. Those that do far more than play Farm Town will still need to clear browser caches/history at some point.

First load of Farm Town:

Please read the following and make sure that you have done these:

You need to check the following list for what you may need update/check/disable in your browser of choice:

Make sure that your preferred browser is up to date!
Your browser needs to support WebGL. To test that click on this link https://get.webgl.org/
If you see a rotating cube then your browser supports WebGL.
All the major browsers support WebGL, for example Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge.

Mac users we are aware that some of you are having difficulty loading using Safari or Chrome. Please try Opera and see if that works for you.
Make sure that any extension added to your browser, that would change the way Facebook looks, perhaps to the old classic look is disabled.
The Farm Town Flash Enabler extension is also disabled in your browser, if you have added and enabled that one.

If you do have any of those extensions enabled, please disable them and then close and reopen your browser and try loading the game again.

Just like when you clear your browser caches, the first load of the HTML5/WebGL version of Farm Town will start off slower to load until it has loaded all the graphics for everything that you have on your farms as you won't have any of them stored on your computer yet.

If after doing the steps above, you can load your farms and work them yourself with the tools currently available you do not need to continue with the instructions below.

Persistent Loading Issues.

IF after doing the above list you are still unable to load Farm Town
please continue with the following steps:

There is a message above the game.
If you don't see it there, you can click on one of the other tabs like Send Gifts or My Neighbours and the message shows up there as well.
Please read that message and follow the instructions!!!

If you are having difficulty with following the instructions in that message we are listing them here with more detail:

You need to be a member of the forum to be able to post your results. Do NOT use your user ID to try to log into the forum as that does NOT automatically register you to the forum.

If you need help on how to register, please click on this link, How to Register in the Forum, and follow the instructions. When you have completed those steps you will need to look for an email from the forum and follow the instruction in it to be able to complete your registration or you will not be able to post your results. If you don't see it in your in box, check your spam/junk folder of your emails as it might end up there.

You need to list 3 things in your post:

Your USER ID - It is the long number you see in that message above your game. It also shows right at the bottom of the page underneath the game screen. Do not copy the one in this picture.
What stage the game got stuck at - black, grey, white or green screen.
The LAST Checkpoint in the log beneath the game. If you can't see the log click on Toggle FT Console. That will open and close the log.

Please do NOT ask about the features currently not available in that thread. It is for reporting issues with loading the current version of the game and reporting issues with what is currently available in the game.

This is an example of the message, in this example the user ID is 00000000. Your user ID will be different it may be a longer ID number. Do NOT copy the user ID in this picture, you need your own ID number that shows in the message above your game!

We are aware of the rumor going around saying that you will be charged a fee to access the new version of Farm Town. This is not true and utter nonsense!!

Facebook have announced that they will be closing
Facebook Gameroom entirely on June 30,2021 due to the end of support of flash.
Those of you still using Gameroom will eventually be redirected
back to Facebook to be able to continue playing Farm Town without Gameroom.

Farm Town - Versiòn HTML5/WebGL

La transiciòn a la nueva plataforma no ha sido ni simple ni ràpida ni facil.
Es por eso que la actual versiòn del juego es restringida.

Luego de cargar el juego verà que no todas las funciones se encuentran habilitadas. Restringida significa que todavìa no se agregaron todas las funciones a la nueva versiòn del juego.

Para comenzar, usted puede trabajar sus granjas y diseñar.

El resto de la funciones se agregaràn a medida que los desarrolladores puedan probarlas durante las siguientes semanas.

Mientras no sean agregadas no podrà tener acceso a todo lo que tenia en la versiòn flash. Por ejemplo, si mira su caja de herramientas verà que los artìculos que no funcionan todavìa se encuentran difuminados.

Cuanto más tenga marcado en sus preferencias para mostrar, más tendrá que cargar la primera vez. Por lo tanto, la primera carga serà lenta, especialmente si tiene granjas grandes y pesadas. Esto mejorará en la próxima recarga.

A algunos de ustedes les puede resultar más fácil cargar la versión HTML5 si no borran la caché del navegador todos los días SI casi lo ùnico que hacen es jugar Farm Town. Sin embargo, cuando haya actualizaciones de la versión HTML5, es posible que tenga que borrar la cachè si encuentra que algo no funciona correctamente ya que de esa forma obtendrà la versión actualizada. Aquellos que hacen mucho más que jugar Farm Town necesitarán borrar la cachè del navegador en algún momento.

La Primera Vez que Carga Farm Town:

Por favor lea lo siguiente y asegùrese de hacer cada uno de los puntos:

Necesita revisar la siguiente lista y ver si necesita actualizar/revisar/desinstalar algo en el navegador que usa:

Asegùrese que su navegador està actualizado!

Si ve un cubo girando, entonces su navegador es compatible.
Los principales navegadores admiten WebGL, por ejemplo Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge.

Para los usuarios de Mac, sabemos que muchos de ustedes tienen problemas de carga usando Safari ò Chrome. Por favor prueben con Opera a ver si les funciona.
Revise si tiene alguna extensiòn agregada a su navegador, como por ejemplo la que Facebook quede en su versiòn clàsica y no pueda cambiar al nuevo formato.
Revise la extensiòn Farm Town Flash enabler si es que la habia agregado a su navegador.

Si tiene cualquiera de esas extensiones agregadas y habilitadas, por favor debe desinstalarlas y luego cierre y reabra su navegador y trate de cargar el juego nuevamente.

Al igual que cuando borra la cachè de su navegador, la primera carga de la versión HTML5 de Farm Town comenzará a cargarse más lentamente hasta que haya cargado todos los gráficos de todo lo que tiene en sus granjas, ya que todavià, no tendrá ninguno de ellos almacenados en su computadora.

Si luego de haber realizado todos los pasos anteriores, usted puede cargar sus granjas y trabajarlas con las herramientas que en estos momentos estàn disponibles, entonces usted NO necesita continuar con las siguientes instrucciones.

Continùan los Problemas de Carga.

SI luego de realizar los puntos de la lista anterior usted todavìa no puede cargar Farm Town
por favor continùe haciendo los siguientes pasos:

Cuando trate de cargar Farm Town verà un mensaje arriba de la pantalla del juego.
Si no le ve, haga click en la pestaña Enviar Regalos ò Mis Vecinos y el mensaje aparecerà. Por favor lea el mensaje y siga las instrucciones!!

Si tiene problemas siguiendo las instrucciones del mensaje, aquì se las explicamos con màs detalles:

Para poder publicar sus resultados debe ser miembro del foro.. NO use su ID para tratar de entrar al foro ya que el registro NO es automàtico.

Si necesita ayuda para registrarse, por favor haga click en el siguiente link, Como registrarse en el Foro y siga las instrucciones. Cuando complete todos los pasos, vaya a su direcciòn de mail y busque un mail del foro, àbralo y haga click en el primer link en azul que vea. De esa forma su registraciòn estarà terminada y podrà publicar sus resultados. Si no encuentra el mail por favor revise su correo no deseado ò spam por si fue enviado alli.

O puede hacer click en el texto en azul del mensaje arriba de la granja donde dice "this forum thread" y publicarà directamente en el foro en ingles.

Tiene que brindar 3 informaciones en su publicaciòn:

Su USER ID - Es el nùmero largo que ve en el mensaje arriba del juego. Tambièn lo encuentra en la parte inferior de la pantalla del juego. No copie el que mostramos en esta foto.
En que momento el juego dejò de cargar - fue en una pantalla negra, gris, blanca ò verde.
El ULTIMO Checkpoint (la ùltima linea de la lista) que aparece en la lista de informaciòn debajo del juego. Si no ve la informaciòn haga click en Toggle FT Console. Eso le permite abrir y cerrar la lista de informaciòn.

Este es un ejemplo del mensaje, en este ejemplo el user ID es 00000000. Recuerde que su user ID serà diferente y tal vez con màs o menos nùmero. NO copie el que aparece en la foto ya que necesitamos su propio numero de user ID que aparece en el mensaje arriba de su propia granja![/indent]

Comprendemos lo frustrante que es esperar a que se vuelvan a agregar todas las funciones a la versión HTML5 del juego y le pedimos que continùe siendo paciente.

Facebook ha anunciado que cerraràn completamente Facebook Gameroom a partir del 30 de Junio, 2021 debido a que flash ya no tendrà soporte.
Aquellos de ustedes que todavìa estèn usando Gameroom serìan redirigidos a Facebook para que continuen jugando Farm Town sin Gameroom.
