7/10-2011 i have completely remade farm 6 now it is called The Dam, check it out u might like it. will use my decorated farms for some facilitys for a while but will remove them when we get more farms:)

I just finally hit 34 the other day and I have been working like mad to decorate and organize the last few days and well, even though I'm not ready about 8 of my friends said to post here so the real farmers could judge me. I think my haunted farm is nice. It is the third farm I've done, and I'll probably redo it for Thanksgiving.

If you visit, be sure to take a stroll through the haunted forest. You can do this by clicking anywhere OUTSIDE of the forest area (in the graveyard by the spider, on any crop square, or in any stone path or yard area along the side between the mansion and the flag).

Take a second look with the trees turned off.

I don't know about the top 100, but I think I have a pretty farm. I get a lot of compliments. I keep changing it. I'm torn between keeping my fields and giving others something to do or just making it my own little get away. I do seem to have less and less fields as time goes on.

just reached level 34 and still learning...hope you like mine so far... tired of the flooded swamps n north lousiana so i moved my farm to muai, just finished phase 3 of my new maui bed and breakfast...i have the luau bungalows,the leilani cottages, the wiki wiki club-party/bunkhouses or stay in the king kaMehaMeha big house all over looking the pinaapple fields & beach/pacific, weekend stay will only cost gifts of palm,coconut, and banana trees....( i have one more phase on second level, stumped any suggestions?!?!)......just having fun guys happy farming !,

My first post to the forum; hopefully, I am doing it correctly! :)

I would like you to visit my farm.

At level 30, I converted it into a flower nursery. Too bad, I can harvest and sell the flowers! I have kept two areas for crops so I can continue to play and move up the levels. I mainly grow strawberries, blueberries because some flower nurseries also sell fruit bushes.

I tried to make the river look like the river I pass in Vermont--you can see it through the trees from the road. If you look at it with the trees on and then again with the trees off, you can see the flowers and sitting areas that people on the farm can enjoy.

I have a reading/quiet conversation corner in the back right (this is modeled after the one I made on my "real" property). I have placed benches and other quiet spots on the farm. I have them on my home property as well. It is good to have a space to go to for different purposes.

My farmhands have their own space on the left. There is a market area there also for the customer to purchase fruit etc. from the trees I grow.

I live in the white house and I kept the barn and a few animals--I need milk and eggs! I placed the barn far enough away from the house--no odors coming in my windows!

So totally awesome...i visited this place and if the developers were to take a look at this "blooming idiots" farm along with others ive seen, but not a nice as this one......the developers would see that adding a harvesting of flowers would see a sweet idea....just like a real nursery. after a harvest of flowers and then sell. u wouldnt have to delete the flowers completely, it would then return them to original state like when u first buy them. the owner would have to water them instead of plowing them and it would take the same amount of time to rebloom, however watering them after a flower harvest could cost u say (ex: 10 coins per flower to water) them instead of paying to replant which would be foolish.............just an idea to kick around

I'm impressed but how many hours of work did you spend making that kind of stuff..

Many visitors say they absolutely love my farm... but I guess it's nothing compared to this kind of maddness;)
I only work(ed) on it for about 1-2 hours a day, it only took a few weeks to finish (not counting planning and leveling)

If you really like this game, it's not that hard to waste days to months in it ;)

Very nice! i would suggest adding some flowers and/or trees in the back with the playground and the grill, try to make the ends of your farm look like they end there, not going on forever ;)

And a suggestion to every who are planning on their farm, try to mix up flowers ;) if you use different colors your farm will come alive!

Theres a 1st floor parking for my vehicles, the house is on te second floor overlooking a beach that has an open bar, cottages and a boardwalk. Right next to the beach is a housing colony complete with a swimming pool and a tennis court! All this right next to the farm with a gazebo on an island pouring water into a flowing river that goes under a playground for kids!!!!

Theres a 1st floor parking for my vehicles, the house is on te second floor overlooking a beach that has an open bar, cottages and a boardwalk. Right next to the beach is a housing colony complete with a swimming pool and a tennis court! All this right next to the farm with a gazebo on an island pouring water into a flowing river that goes under a playground for kids!!!!

So totally awesome...i visited this place and if the developers were to take a look at this "blooming idiots" farm along with others ive seen, but not a nice as this one......the developers would see that adding a harvesting of flowers would see a sweet idea....just like a real nursery. after a harvest of flowers and then sell. u wouldnt have to delete the flowers completely, it would then return them to original state like when u first buy them. the owner would have to water them instead of plowing them and it would take the same amount of time to rebloom, however watering them after a flower harvest could cost u say (ex: 10 coins per flower to water) them instead of paying to replant which would be foolish.............just an idea to kick around

I re-did the bottom half of my place, made the Japanese garden bigger and put in an arboretum (although I do wish we could buy other trees and shrubbery! oh, and maybe a few birds ..lol)

I think that you should be able to vote for a farm you like when visiting or by being hired and then FT could have monthly winners. I have seen some extremely creative people while working out of the market that are not neighbors or buddys. Or use mean farmers idea of rating the farm you are at on a 1-10 scale, would be cool.

If your farm link does not appear in your posts, here are steps to link manually.

Step #1 - Find your Facebook ID:
In Facebook, click on "Profile" link top left. Locate your "Friends" list on the left. Mouse over where it says # Friends or See All. Look in the bottom left corner of the browser you will see "http://www.facebook.com/friends/?id=xxxxxxxxx&view=everyone". Write down the #s (where the x's are).

Step #2 - Edit your Signature:
Open Farm Town Forum. Top left, click on "User CP".

Midway down left side - click on Edit Signature.
