Is it possible to start my farm from the begining?
No you cannot start your farm new from level one. You can sell or delete everthing on your farm to start with a blank slate. You will still have the same level and the same exp points.

Does deleting the application from my Facebook account start my farm over from the begining?
No this does not reset your farm.

Is it possible to start over with a new farm?
No it is not possible to start a new farm. You will see those with more than one farm in their signature, however, most of these are farms of family members. It is against the TOS of Facebook to have more than one account.

No you cannot transfer your farm to your new Facebook account.

Can I delete my farm?
No you cannot delete your farm. You can delete the application from your Facebook account, but your farm will remain on the Farm Town servers until it is removed for inactivity. There is no definitive time frame on how long after the application is removed that the farm will be deleted from the servers.

Can I transfer my Myspace farm to my Facebook account or the other way around?
No since they are on different platforms you cannot transfer your farm from one account to the other.

Thank you, Tiger for the suggestions and information. For now I'm taking one of the approaches you suggest -- basically taking a break during this yearend period when there is so much extra work in my business, not to mention prep for tax time just around the corner.

Harvested my crops and not replanting and put 4 of my 19 facilities in storage. (Hard to believe I actually had that many facilities since I've passed on many of them.) Also eliminated the extra pines and oaks from all but two farms, so the layouts will stay the way I planned them to look without needing to chop those extra trees. I'll be gifting my FT Neighbors daily and helping in their facilities once in a while, time permitting.

Good to know, though, that if I were to delete the FT ap for a time, I can come back. It has been so enjoyable designing my farms (I call it creative design for the "artistically challenged" LOL) since without having to be able to draw or do original graphic art, one can use the varied items the developers offer and make a scene look basically as one likes. Also, since I grew up in and live in a rural area, I relate to the concept of farms and rural small towns. Not to mention the fun of sharing with the wonderful friends who are my FT Neighbors and friends here at the Forum. What a great group of folks!

You cannot delete your farm and start over, only unless you got a new FB account (which is against their TOS) but that would start you at 0.

I can clean your farm data, however, I noticed you still have buildings and trees layered on a few farms and if I cleaned it now, there is good chance that some of those would disappear. But once that's taken care of, I can clear your data and then you should be able to clear up those plots :)

Tony, sorry, but when you spend so much cash on playing a game, the things you buy with farm cash you should be able to give away. I have been playing this game for several years now, and have spent a lot of money on playing it. More than I would have on most games, but I like not having to attack someone else to advance your game. No one is going to come steal from you either.

But since I was the one that got him the brewery, because i was helping on his farm one day, I bought it for the wrong farm. I can sell it back.... but only for farm coins. This just doesn't seem right, and sure lowers my opinion of the game producers.

The only way is to delete or store everything and start from there. You can change the name by clicking on the name of the farm up top.

No you cannot delete the second farm. However in the Real Estate office you should see increases for both farms not just the 2nd one. You may have to scroll the list to find them.

You can't reset the game. If you wanted a blank farm you'd have to sell/delete like she said but there is no way to make it go to 0 again.

how big is your first farm? 24x24 is the biggest it will go

Well, like I said, you can't reset your farm to blank. If you remove everything off the farm, you'll still have the coins and xp, just a blank farm.

If you were a brand new player, you'd have some coins, level 1 and a tree and an animal, that's it.

from what I recall others mentioned, removing or blocking FT does not disrupt your progress. When you reinstate it you can pick up where you left off

I think I did this when I had a slower computer, and re started about 8 months later, just had to invite all my neighbours back as they had been removed, lol

I am having major problems trying to sell my goods, and many others have reported this happening to them as well. I take my products to the market to sell. It *looks like* the products I select have been sold, but no coins are credited to my coins and when I return to my farm the product I thought were sold are still in my storage. I am on server WW#3. and it seems that whenever there is a problem, I get hit with it.
Are the programmers aware of this and is it being worked on?
A friend on server WW#10 is having the same difficulties, but some people of my acquaintance are having no problem at all.
This started 4-28 when the last upgrade was applied and continues all day today. I sure hope they get it fixed post haste!

No there isn't. Your farm is generated and permanently tied to your Facebook ID and there is no way for it to be changed to someone else.

Hello,

Ignore the "0 from friends" that you see when you refuel. It has been playing up. You will be getting the correct amount of fuel. To check it, next time you need to refuel, look in your storage for how many fuel tanks you have from your refinery and how many you have as gifts, add the two together. Then you go to refuel, check the number that is showing next to "from refinery". It will show the total amount you have in storage.

example :
In storage........100 tanks from refinery........ 50 tanks from gifts.
What you would see in brackets below "Fuel tanks", when you go to refuel, is (0 from friends) (150 from refinery)

Ok this is a long shot but going to give it a try. My sister in law opened an email that was a virus/scam. Instead of just comprising her account somehow or another her account was deleted completely. The message she gets says there is no account associated to that email.

FB has not responded to her so is no help. However, she has been an avid farmer and has worked her way up to a high level. She has purchased items with FC and had most of the factories. She is a daily player. Is there anyway possible that her farm can be located and restored? It's like everything thing to do with her is gone. Even I can't find her farm on my neighbor list.

She has opened a new account and started a new farm but starting at ground zero is very hard. Please please tell me there is a way to help restore her farmtown.

Hate to tell you but as everyone's farm is connected to their FB, that's where her farm is. I would suggest keep trying to get in contact with FB.

I guess I thought there might be a way to track her UID and find her farm. I have not been able to find a way to contact FB directly - only through their help section which does nothing. They only give directions on how to get back control of your farm but nothing on what to do if your account is gone.

You cannot move your farm from one FB account to another. Your farm is linked to your FB ID number and with a new account you get a new ID that doesn't match.

There is no provision for deleting the farm. However, you can change your FB privacy settings to block all FT posts and activity. The farm itself will be archived after about a month of inactivity, at which point no-one will be able to see it.

I am not sure if this helps but farmtown neighbours of mine who wanted to leave did this:

they removed the app in facebook, Account Settings/App Settings/click X next to farmtown.

then when I go to their farms they are just a big green field.

Afraid not. You could sell off everything you have and start from that but there is no reset or restart for it.

No sorry farms cant be transfered from one account to anouther as they are linked to your facebook ID

the only thing I can suggest is you use the new account for work and the existing one for Fun.

You can design a farm together. Here's the information posted at the time it was released..............

Design this Farm Together:
For people who likes designing farms, you now have the option to invite other users to help design your farm. You just need to click the user avatar and select 'Design this Farm Together'. This feature will enable several users to join forces to design the best farm out there, or for one user to learn some design tricks from the most experienced ones. These are the rules:

You can invite several users at the same time to design in your farm
The owner of the farm needs to be present at all times in the farm. Once the owner navigates from the current farm the collaborative design will stop working. Another way to cancel is to select 'Cancel Design Farm Together' from the Avatar menu.
Other users can only move non-farmcash items from one place to another, no other operations are allowed, like buying new items.
In the future, other users will be able to rotate items as well.

No, your Farm Town account is connected to your Facebook ID number and as soon as you get a new Facebook account you would get a new ID number.

No, there is no way to reset your game to the beginning, you can sell everything and have a blank farm, but your coins and xp would remain the same. Was it coins you lost?

yes i made lots of apple tress and found that you can harvest apples behind other trees

however until i get 8 neighbours i cannot sell anything :S

If you add what you don't want to storage then you can sell at market without having the 8 neighbours

Your farm is linked to your facebook account. As long as you are logging on using that your farm will still be there. Just load the game.

Have you changed your facebook account since you last played? If you are using a different account, your old farm would not be linked to your new account.

No I'm sorry, there's no way to do that. To access your old farm you need to use your old account.

You can't delete your farm. As long as you are logged in through the same account you made your farm with, you should be OK. Try logging out and logging back in from facebook.

If you have deleted Farm Town then reinstall the game , your farm will still be there.

sorry your farm is linked to your facebook account if you close your account you lose your farm unforunately

it would be easier to deactivate all your contacts, friends, friends-of-friends etc, and clear out all .... ALL .... of that information.... block everything but the games you wish to occupy your time.

then you can "save" all your efforts with Farm Town.

You can't unless you can get your account back. Your farm is tied to your account ID.

If you are talking about deleting the farm town application and then reloading it , this will not affect your farm. You will lose all pending gifts though.

You can't delete Farm Town, the only thing you can do is block it on Facebook.

You can remove the application, but it doesn't delete your farm. If you add it again in future you can start off where you last left it.

They have your details forever.

You can't delete the farm itself, but you can delete and block the app on FB so that it won't intrude. If you decide to start playing again later, your farm will still be there, just as you leave it now.

You can also delete it from your computer. In the delete programs department.
But I am asking you to just harvest everything. Leave it the way it is and not worry about it. I left for a little while in the beginning. Back in 1210 and missed it when things slowed down! And I had every thing I needed to start it up again. Don't want to loose any farmers who some times just need a few months to get to where you can play again! Just a suggstion!:)

I just tried it and it will not show up in your programs to delete, cause it is not a program on your computer, the program stays on the Slashkey server and when you log into it is then downloaded into memory not your hard drive.

No, there is no way to transfer or sell to anyone, the only way someone else could play on your farm is that they would have to log in through your FB account.

Myspace deleted my profile which all friends, pics, apps it is all gone, is there anyway that I can get my farm back is it located somewhere on your servers that I can play without being on myspace?? I have all 18 farms, all tools, lots of fcash and I am really ticked with Myspace. Please if there is anyway that someone could answer this and find out for me that would be soooooo awesome..

Hi,

I'm sorry but the only way to your farm is by logging on to your Myspace profile, your farm is linked to that profile. There is no way to play farm town other than though Myspace or Facebook. The two platforms are very different, in case you were wondering, no you can not transfer your farm to Facebook either.

If you can, try to resolve the issues with Myspace to get your account back.
