You'll enter my farm at the main intersection, where you are greeted by garden gnomes (and often a furry creature or two). After announcing yourself to the greeters, you decide which way you'd like to go. Just below is my sunken garden. Have a seat at the patio and relax for a bit; enjoy the soothing sound of the waterfall. If you need anything, I might be sleeping in the hammock in my greenhouse area. Please don't hesitate to wake me up. I really shouldn't be sleeping on a beautiful day with so much work to do. If you're hungry, take a walk eastward on the main path, where you'll find Thanksgiving dinner prepared next to the windmill. Help yourself, there's plenty for everyone :) I'd appreciate it if you'd drop me a note and let me know how everything was during your visit. Thanks!

K...I was inspired and changed my entrance. I didn't have much room to work with but made it an inviting Thanksgiving dinner with a squirrel to greet you and a path to the table. I have had to remove my link, but you land on either the left or right side of my main waterfall ... which can be annoying as to get to the other side it won't just walk across a bridge, but you have to walk all the way down and around and up and over. Takes a whole minute to cross my waterfall!

(I guess you can see my farm picture in my signature - it does not look entirely like that anymore (right & bottom have changed) but the middle waterfall is the same and that is where you land.)

Silky's entrance remains one of the most beautiful to me, & gabbycats litter box still makes me giggle just at the thought of it! There is an evil streak in me that thinks botte's highway should be moved so you land in the middle of it, but it's still a wonderfully unique entrance....pretty much ALL the postings here have fabulous entrances, & I love this thread!

Sorry, I meant to also add that I have to entrances on my two farms. On farm1 you land by the bench in a nice little enclosure overlooking the river and the fields.
I just finished remaking farm1. I changed it into a seasonal farm, so right now its winter in the big mansion garden. I had to move ALL my flowers to farm2 as they spoilt the image when they got watered by kind neighbours :-)
Farm2 is still under construction. All those flowers need to be positioned in my country garden and around the farm. Here you land on the little island with the gazebo and you have four choices of which way you want to go.

A gr8 way to plan your entrance is come into your farm, then mark exactly where you landed with an animal, flower something small. This way you have a starting point.. Have fun~~~:)

The precise spot one pops in seems to vary a little bit for me. I set up my second farm with the intention that one would arrive inside the gazebo tower, and sometimes that is indeed where I come in. But sometimes I'm a tiny bit to the left or right or in front (which makes it look like you're standing on nothing up in the air!) The deviation is small, but enough to change what you are behind/in front of.

On my first farm, Forest Green, you land in front of a river, but you have three pieces of farm equip in front. On farm two, Birch Tree you land in front of a bench and follow a flower lined lane out to the edge of the farm.

My 2nd Farm is a trashy, crime ridden Trailer Park, so it just stood to reason that my 3rd Farm should be a prison. And it gave me a chance to lock up all those disturbing gnomes. The buggers, though, are finding ingenious ways to escape.

My 1st property --actually a very expensive country estate of stunning views, including a "ha-ha" -- has one arrive on the rock walkway in a hedged rose garden surrounded by fountains. One would feel quite comfortable arriving in a tuxedo. You are welcome to stroll the grounds, pet the sheep (they are decorative more than anything else) and walk through the fruit trees down to the gazebo near the "ha-ha" to enjoy afternoon tea at 4PM. The fields are very decorative, carefully maintained by the estate staff, and extremely beautiful.

2nd farm --a true working farm-- has one arrive on a pathway surrounded by zinnias next to the chicken yard and sheep paddock, just a short stroll from the farm house and the hedged back yard. Arrive at 2PM and stop in for some freshly baked cherry or apple pie, a la mode, of course, and a glass of iced tea. We are always happy to show you around the farm, including the original log cabin and ancestors gravestone.

3rd farm --the village not far from the estate - also named after it (1st farm) -- and within hollering distance from the 2nd farm -- has arrival at the bridge over the creek, just a bit northwest of the village, close to the village playground. Half the time I arrive, I find myself standing in the middle of the bridge - a great spot for overlooking the vast wheat fields, and the village with all the factories and retail stores just a pleasant stroll away. During the summer the fruit stands and lemonaide stands are open roadside, and the town features sidewalk vendors as well as tours of the stone windmill (a town attraction), and the factories (chocolate, sugar, dairy). Enjoy a pizza in town, and some fresh baked goods, and then an ice cream while you sit on one of the town benches under the spreading shade trees, watching traffic go by.

My 2nd Farm is a trashy, crime ridden Trailer Park, so it just stood to reason that my 3rd Farm should be a prison. And it gave me a chance to lock up all those disturbing gnomes. The buggers, though, are finding ingenious ways to escape.

I just started looking at some of the farms in this thread and they are AWESOME!!
Mine is 'under construction' right now. I have LOTS of ideas (even before finding this thread) but now have even more. They just take TIME. LOL

One of my neighbors farms when you land there, you land on the balcony of the mansion.
