Nov 13 2009, 07:54 PM
Just curious, wondering how some people come up with the funny and interesting names.
Clint is my real name and 454 is my favorite car engine. :D
Double T Dude Ranch
Nov 13 2009, 07:59 PM
Mine is Double T because those are my initials and dude ranch is something "farmy", lol :D
Jilly Moon
Nov 13 2009, 08:02 PM
Mine isn't all that interesting - Jilly is a nickname from my real name, and Moon...well, I'm just a lunar-loving sort of gal ;-D
Kelsey
Nov 13 2009, 08:19 PM
Bella is my dog.
My first account is simply my name - Kelsey
shdytxmn
Nov 13 2009, 08:38 PM
My last name slightly morphed joined with my profession - accounting and taxes. Had the vowels until my wife messed up my address years ago with our then ISP. New ISP wouldn't allow that many characters. Farm name is because I grew up partially in Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas (Jayhawks).
amberdh
Nov 13 2009, 09:01 PM
Amber is my name of course :) and D and H are my middle and last initials

I'm Steve and I'm an Uncle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and it's my farm.
Real creative huh?:p:p
You're in good company, Steve. My nickname is Mo (from Mona), and I'm a granny.
We saved our creativity for our farms instead of our user names, of course. :)
HLeeV
Nov 13 2009, 09:26 PM
I have four myspace profiles just for games and I use my profile names for my farmers.
#1 Farmer name is Anna May. My middle name and the month I was born. Actually my middle name is Ann but I thought Ann May sounded a little dorky. :p
Farm name: Hoosier Homestead.
#2 Farmer name is HLeeV. My daughter's initials and middle name.
Farm name: Hooserville
#3 Farmer name is Kay. My first initial is K
Farm name: Indiana Heartland
#4 Farmer name is Hope. My boyfriends last name and a name I've always have loved anyway. Probably closest I will ever get to having that name. :(
Farm Name: Hoosier Hope
Hoosier Heartland is my Facebook farm, and I am Momma Kay on there. First initial thing again.
I'm from Indiana and Hoosier is our state nickname, so every farm reflects living in Indiana someway, whether it's having Hoosier in the name or Indiana. I've also heard Indiana referred to as the Heartland of America (as some other states I'm sure) so I used that in a couple of the farm names.
Crow Meris
Nov 14 2009, 12:01 AM
My first farm: my name is Crow, and the farm name was just a logical choice.
My second farm: the name 'Sojourner' was on the top five list of names for our daughter, but lost out. This was a chance to use it. The name Sojourner means "Traveler", so "Sojourner's Rest" seemed perfect.
Wild
Nov 14 2009, 12:08 AM
I wanted to create a farm that was not very "structured" and very lush... so I called it Wild and Wonderful Plantation. Originally used my real name as the Avatar name, but quickly figured out that it was better to have something unique that would stand out in the market so that people I was getting to know could spot me there, so I just started using the farm name for my avatar, but everyone shortened it to Wild. When I registered for the forum simply to ask one question, I used Wild and the rest is history! :)
Great idea for a thread, by the way!

Nov 14 2009, 12:21 AM

Kulot
Nov 14 2009, 03:03 AM

CoDa
Nov 14 2009, 03:18 AM
CoDa came from my WW2 online gaming days. I played what (to me at least) is the greatest online game ever, Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I was in a clan called W.O.L.F. (any old wolfies read this, get in touch)
Any way I was looking for a nick and my favourite author is Jeffery Deaver and one on his books is called "The Coffin Dancer". So that was it, I became CoffinDancer which was shortened by my Wolfies to CoDa. End of long boring story
Hypnotic
Nov 14 2009, 05:32 AM
my name "hypnotic" is the ID i put on all the software and web pages i make.. has been that way forever haha. so i use it here also :)
flyingpita
Nov 14 2009, 06:19 AM
Pita was my Maine Coon Cat's name. She was part (ok mostly) wild and when she got into one of her crazy cat moods she would jump from the top of the fridge to the top of the kitchen cabinets to whatever (or whoever) was nearby. It appeared she flew. Years ago when I needed to establish myself on the net Flyingpita was born and I've been that ever since.
Oh and Pita is the acroynm you think it is. Plus I was a Caterer so the bread link also fits me. :-)
Magrat Garlick
Nov 14 2009, 07:54 AM
My name is Margaret (like Magrat but her mother couldn't spell) and I'm an avid Discworld/Terry Pratchett fan

Nov 14 2009, 09:01 AM
It's also the name of one of my favorite books. "The Sojourner" by Marjorie Rawlings.... her last novel. I read it first when I was a child and have read it a number of times since. You might enjoy it too.
Cheers,
Sue
donnakingkonna
Nov 14 2009, 09:29 AM
my first name is donna, my username is a childhood nickname...it has followed me around for many years! (my older brother gave it to me...thanks bro )
Kay Pasa
Nov 14 2009, 09:29 AM
Well, my username is rather obvious.....I love bunnies and I'm female, I didn't think "bunnywoman" sounded right and I'm way way passed the "girl" stage so Bunnylady was it. BTW, is there a way to change your username?
Pamajama1
Nov 14 2009, 10:52 AM
My name is Pamela and a former coworker (now friend) of mine came into my office on my first day singing "she's a bad pamajama" (to the tune of bad mama jama...the old r&b song). The nickname has stuck ever since.
There was a dance that went along with the song as well. LOL!
amysinsanity
Nov 14 2009, 11:01 AM
Mine is kinda boring but, amysinsanity was a hint to my password for my email. The answer was kids. lol Ive had it so long that I just use it for everything now.
Molly Mew
Nov 14 2009, 11:09 AM
What an interesting thread. :)
My user name goes way back to the old AOL message board days. My nickname at home is Molly (for reasons a little long to go into here, lol!) and my very first 'board' was the Cat Board, so 'Mew' seemed to fit nicely. I've kept it ever since.
Mine's boring, just my initials. I joined the forum a couple months ago to ask a simple question; can't remember what it was now. If I had known at the time that I would be posting over 100 posts, I would have made an effort to be more interesting, lol!
Hedgehog Mark
Nov 14 2009, 05:34 PM
At the board game and role playing club I used to attend I started to be called Hedgehog because my hair was combed up and looked like spines.
Unfortunately "Hedgehog" was taken as a user name so I added Mark because that's my name.
Simples! :)
Gothmog Jones
Nov 14 2009, 06:02 PM
Mine comes from Tolkien's original middle-earth stories (from before Lord of the Rings was even started) with my RL last name.
janer50
Nov 14 2009, 06:11 PM
10 years ago a friend was picking on me and called me janer( jane is my name) and I added my age...hence janer50...but that was then and now I am almost 60 and refuse to age anymore:o:eek::p

Che-Rah
Nov 14 2009, 06:47 PM
My RL name is Cherie. A few years ago I had a manager position in my local airport's lounge. If airline passengers get too intoxicated, they will be denied boarding. I would inform patrons that "according to FAA regulations, you will not be permitted to board your flight if you can not handle yourself in an emergency situation" if I saw the need to cut them off. One VERY inebriated gentleman looked at my name tag and said "Who are you? Che-rah, Princess of Power?!" From that day on all my coworkers simply called me Che-rah.
Smelly feet
Nov 14 2009, 07:00 PM
My name is smelly feet because smelly rhymes with my name (shelley - nickname, real name Michelle) and feet normally smell!!! My farm name of foxy's farm is because my surname is Foxcroft so mine not really very imaginative - oh well x
KoKo's Korner
Nov 14 2009, 08:17 PM
My initials are K.O., hence KoKo. And I like alliteration, so KoKo's Korner it is!
sir win-a-lot
Nov 14 2009, 08:39 PM
Got my name before FT, when I used to play Bingo and took the game by storm. My partner and I got the title of Win a Lots when we each topped 2 million points increase in a month! Took me a bit longer to do that on here, and now I'm looking towards the 3 million, but it's been much more fun, and boy, have things changed along the way!

jo-by-the-sea
Nov 15 2009, 05:59 AM
I started out as just Jo but there were so many of us! I still meet so many farmers called Jo, Jo Jo, jojo, Joanne, Joanna - I even have buddies with the same name so I can't tell who they are. So I wanted something distinctive and I live by the sea in Ramsgate, Kent (UK). I use jo-by-the-sea for eBay as well and will probably use it many more times too.
I have a second persona - Fatty Falmund Fish - he is a real fish in my pond in the garden!
little Jo
Nov 15 2009, 06:04 AM
My name is Jo. When I was little I watched Bonanza which was my idea of a ranch or farm and I think one of the characters was little Jo?
The farm is called the Cattery 2.1 cos I've filled it with cats as I like cats. And it's pretty much version 2.1 though like Microsoft, I may take some time to come up with the next version.
Looking forward to some new developments in Farmtown noe I've hit the dizzy heights of level 34.
Goosecreek
Nov 15 2009, 06:16 AM
Growing up on my Grandparents farm I used to spend a lot of time near a creek feeding and watching the geese. My farm is called Goosecreek because I wanted to honor my grandparents that are no longer with me. Real name is Hope.:) That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
illib
Nov 15 2009, 06:25 AM
illlib is a play on my profession - I am the Interlibrary Loan manager at a college library - Peyton's Place - well, gotta love those COLTS !
Little Wing
Nov 15 2009, 07:27 AM
My favorite musician/guitarist in the entire world is Stevie Ray Vaughan. My favorite song of his is 'Little Wing.' :) My name is also a nod to Jimi Hendrix, who had the song first.
As for the name of my farm: my hubby grew up in Mail Pouch country (West Virginia). Mail Pouch barns are all over the place around there, and anyone who has ever lived around them knows exactly what I mean when I say seeing one of those barns just makes me smile, every time we go home for a visit.

I'm from Texas and Rancher just seemed the way to go. Sander is from my first name.
My farm is named for a town called Blue Ridge because I've always liked the name. I thought about using Frognot from another local town.... :D We have great names here like Dog Run Ridge and Still House Hollow.

That's part of my job at my library too! We don't have enough ILLs to warrant it as a job by itself.
Sorry about hijacking the thread...going to go sleep now.

Indigo Rose
Nov 26 2009, 04:01 AM
My name, I like roses and for some silly reason I like the word indigo and the colour ain't bad either. LOL.
I sometimes used Jack's Nanna, I think the reason would be obvious.
My farm's name, I like trees/pines and when the wind blows through the pine forest it sort of sounds like whispering.
Deep huh? ROFL.
Little Wing, off to investigate Mail Pouch barns, don't think we have them in my part of the world.

kutupkate
Nov 28 2009, 08:22 AM
My avatar's name is now, as of today, Mrs. Kalnozoli Kate. I changed to this in honour of our farm's name that we bought here in Latvia in August. It means hill oak. My real name is Kathleen hence the 'Kate.' I used to be Kutup Kate, meaning I am a real cut up, an amusing sort of person.
My farm's name is Soaring Eagle Farm from Isaiah 40:31.
Blessings to all.
aerogal
Nov 28 2009, 09:41 AM
mine is because I'm an aeronautical engineer - and my farm name is because I'm so darn picky that things just to be right that it's taking forever for me to finish!:o
plower2thepeople
Nov 28 2009, 09:42 AM
Since I am not a beggar in the marketplace I felt that my name would get the attention of someone in need of a plower. It worked beautifully while getting to level 34, and it is working again. Once at level 60 later today, I will retire the name for good hopefully:rolleyes:.
ms cindy
Nov 28 2009, 09:52 AM
I am an elementary school librarian. The kids at school had a problem learning how to pronounce my last name. So they call me Miss Cindy. The name was already taken in the forum, so i had to change miss, to ms.

Nov 28 2009, 11:31 AM
When my then boyfriend husband returned back to the states from service, he discovered that I loved flower gardening. We were at a fair and he came across an airbrush booth where he had the words "Garden Ho" and a picture of a hoe put on it - apparently they didn't have a picture of . . . well, you know. . .LOL I had the vanity plate on the front of my car for years and you should have seen people's reactions when I explained exactly what it meant.

Farmer Dork
Nov 28 2009, 02:17 PM
I originally had a different name but when I changed the facial features etc I thought my avatar looked like a dork. Plus I've been known to act like a dork on occasions. Funny thing is people always tell me it's the reason they hire me;)
I am an elementary school librarian. The kids at school had a problem learning how to pronounce my last name. So they call me Miss Cindy. The name was already taken in the forum, so i had to change miss, to ms.
Hey, ms cindy, I was a reference librarian in a university library for seven years in the 90's. Great field; it felt great to help people every day with their non-life-threatening problems/information needs. I haven't worked in 10 yrs, but will be interested to see how it's changed when I do go back. My current RL might be not that far off from yours right now as I seem to spend much of my time volunteering in my kids' elementary school. (Miss the paycheck, however, meager though it was, lol!)

MissHolli
Nov 30 2009, 10:03 PM
Holli and Wyatt are our dogs. I started playing FarmTown shortly after we got them, and didn't want to use my usual online nickname, so I named my avatar after Holli and the farm after Wyatt.
As you can guess by my avatar, they're Mini Schnauzers...

I have named my farm "Sláinte Mhath" pronounced "Slan-chee-Va" from scots gaelic meaning Good Health! or Cheers!
I thought it would be a good name to compliment my hilly scottish landscape.
With all those hills it's got to be healthy?

Nirgal
Dec 05 2009, 01:03 AM
Had to choose a user name when I first joined a dial-up bulletin board way back when...
I was in the middle of reading Kim Stanley Robinson's "Mars" trilogy, which featured characters whose names were those of the war deities from various languages and cultures. As my first name is a variant of Mars, it made sense to choose one of these... and I've used it since.

I really like this name...Mine isn't original Miss Lisa(my first name)V(middle initial). Nope not Veronica or Victoria...Verena, a dutch name. What I really like is my farms name... Lisa's Estate of Serenity. This game has helped me through recovering from surgery, to keeping my mind off of losing my job over said surgery. Also, being a woman who's proud of my recovery for 4 1/2 yrs., it just seemed to fit. Happy Farming Everyone!:)

My avatar (Jim Blandings) and farm name (The Old Hackett Place) come from one of my favorite movies "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House". After all, what are we doing here? Building our dream house! I guess most people here are too young to catch on because I have never had anyone ask about it.

I used to live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where they have the Dubai Summer Surprises, an annual summer extravaganza especially organized for children, and the DSS mascot was named Modhesh. I just added "ka" at the end to make it sound like a girl's name 'coz Modhesh is male.

PennyMom
Dec 25 2009, 09:54 AM
Just before I started playing Farm Town in June, I found a great dog at a local pet shelter. She is an Australian Cattle Dog, a breed we don't see much around my part of Long Island. That's why I named my spread Cattle Dog Corners. Her name is Penny, hence my username.
Merry Christmas everyone! The original Penny is chewing happily on her gift from Santa while I am spending this quiet morning here for a bit before seeing friends and family later :) And Happy Harvests to everyone for the New Year!

SunnyD
Dec 27 2009, 08:42 AM
My Avatar names? I use SunnyD. My nic name that started in childhood and just stuck is Sunshine a hippie boyfriend of my baby sitter named me that. and everyone shortened it after a while to Sunny and the D is the first Initial of my Last name.... (got to love the 60's nic names) My other Avatar Is Janis that name is in honor of Janis Joplin her farm is of Course "Bethel Woods" that is the name of the farm where woodstock was held. Oh my SunnyD farm name is "Sowega Farms" because the area we live in is South West Georgia and often called Sowega.... And Sunshine's farm is called "Sleepy Hollow" because the land I own was named "The Hollow" by the original owners. It was the lowest section of his farm land and so he called it that..... You can click on the community tab on the blue line and click members list or on the main page you can click on forum leaders and find her name or also at the bottom of the social forum page you'll see her name as one of the mods.

Dec 28 2009, 09:38 PM
My avatar just has my real name, Claudia. I've only run into one other Claudia in the market and we both got a kick out the fact that we shared the same name.
My user name on the forums is (obviously) Greyhoundgrrrl because I am a stong supporter of greyhound adoption and I'm still a riot grrrl at heart.
My 1st farm is called Pine Grove, not terribly creative but I love pine trees and my farm has a whole bunch of them.
My 2nd farm is Tumbleweed Gulch because I live in New Mexico on Tumbleweed Road. I thought it sounded kind of cute, old fashioned, and regional even though my farm really has nothing to do with the desert.

Sassy Kathy
Dec 28 2009, 11:00 PM
When my son was expecting his first child there was great conversation about what the grandparents would be called. Something I had never given thought to before, but it seemed important to everyone that they have a new and unique nickname. My daughter-in-law's mother came up with Lolli for her and Pop for her husband. She thought it would be cute, for example, to sign off on birthday cards "Love, Lolli & Pop" and put a lollipop in the card. I was dismayed because I came up with nothing extraordinary.
After he was born and was learning his first words, I decided I wanted him to call me Cassie. My mother and I are both Kathleen, her nickname was Cass -- Cassie is an obvious spin-off. No one else says Cassie in the family so it would be his nickname for me (keeping me forever young - LOL).
I'll never forget the look on his face when he realized that "Cassie" was what he could call me, as Daddy was to his father. He was so exhuberant and it also was one of the very first words he spoke. After that first day he apparently didn't like the "k" sound of Cassie and on the second day it became Sassy. The name sticks and I am his Sassy, and now my granddaughter's Sassy too.
So here, I am Sassy Kathy.

Mine is because i was banned for having two coops even after i spent money on the game ... i didn't know it was against the law to have two chicken coops (everyone i knew had at least that many and someone just told me how to get them i didn't even ask) no warning no nothing just a nice big fat ban so i am wearing my emotions on my sleeve so to speak LOL I could see if they told me it was against the rules and i need to remove the extra one i could respect that but to ban me without even saying anything or warning that i would be banned is unnecessary in my opinion... at least they could have sent me my money back if nothing else..

Now THERE'S an idea I like! On my way to see if I also can get banned for excessive chicken-cooping.
Edited to add: Well, rats. The darned chicken coop doesn't even show up for me to buy, since I already have one. So much for that.

what would be the point of lying about it? The only good thing that came of this was I started playing Farm Town again.. I work a lot so I don't have time for lots of games, and realized this one has a lot better buildings etc... so it worked out in the end.. I am just mad because I spent actual money on the game even in it's beta stage because i wanted to donate since i got so much enjoyment playing it... Oh well I hope if I do something wrong in this game I am notified before being banned. I went to the forum and the notice said you have been banned for having multiple chicken coops sorry I can't remember the password i used and so I cannot provide a screen print for you so weather you believe me or not I speak the truth.. I am not a person that lies I have no reason to.

I'm a nerd so I tend to use names plucked out of games and shows I like as an example I'm currently using Sephiroth, my farm name is Rockin' Robin ranch and Rockin' Robin Homestead simply cause I really love the song plus it's kinda unique from what I have seen thus far.

well much to the dismay of many dirty old men on farmtown (lol), my name does not refer to a fetish of mine :) it's actually a reference to the character from the little rascals - when i was little my parents thought i was a bit of a rascal myself so when the movie came out, they all called me spanky (the ringleader!) and i guess it stuck! :)

My LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) is worth six and a half years of school, fifty thousand dollars in student loan debt (almost paid off now), a two year internship and many, many sleepless nights so I use it for my user name everywhere. It has opened up many doors for me. And my name is Donna of course. My first farm name is the name of a town about ten miles from here that is known for its fruit, Palisade peaches anyone? The other one is a City Park, duh. And what do I do with all this education? Farmtown of course. And I farm. And I own a small assisted living facility.

hmm, thought I had posted in here.
Lavenda has been my online name (if not already taken...) since I first got online over 10 years ago. I picked it because I like purple, I like the plant and I liked a guy whose surname was Lavender.
As for my farms, they are named after the places they represent which are all from Tolkien's Middle Earth. I now have my farms based on the layout of Middle Earth though it is most certainly NOT to scale (oh, and the wierd wrench thing on farm 2 is Sauron's tower with his eye at the top. And yes it's obvious! The orange crate half-way down the Modern Mansion (Minas Tirith) wall isn't obvious...)

Bud Davis is a country boy who moves to the city to visit his uncle. He starts hanging out at Gilley's, owned by Mickey Gilley himself. He takes a job at the refinery where his uncle works. He also meets Sissy, a cowgirl, and they fall in love and suddenly get married. And then their marriage is shattered when Bud sees Sissy allegedly seeing con man Wes, who teaches her how to ride the mechanical bull...and plans to rob Gilley's. When a bull-riding contest is announced, Bud decides to sign up. Can he win the contest and save his marriage to Sissy?

Feistyfarmergirl76 is my forum name. It is a play on my e-mail address. If I had been truly creative and alliterative, I would have gone with Feistyfarmfemme76. Hindsight is 20/20...or so they say. My avatar's name is Heidi Jo. Heidi is my RL first name and Jo...well, when I started playing in April of 2009, I thought I needed a more "farmy" name, so I tacked on Jo and thus my FarmTown identity was born. Not a particularly exciting story, I am afraid. :o
My farm's names have evolved over time. Currently, My first farm is called the Uncanny Valley. According to my husband, Uncanny Valley is a phenomena that occurs in video games when the video game images become so real--particularly faces--that the brain actually has a harder time believing that they are real...or something to that effect. I just liked the name so much, that my farms all have an "Uncanny" in their names. :D
Thanks Clint for starting this post!

Kid Law
Dec 12 2010, 01:04 AM
Well my farmtown name is a nickname that I've had for many years now. Here's the story behind the nickname. My real name is Ingrid Law. Several years ago (back during my younger wild days) me and a few friends went out one night and decided to party like rock stars. We even rented a hotel room at a 5 star hotel to crash for the night. We arrived at the hotel around 3:00 am (I was driving) and used the valet service to park the car. The next morning when we went to retrieve the car the valet guy asked me my name so he could locate the car. He came back a few minutes later and said he didn't have a car under that name. I thought maybe I used my friend's name when I checked the car in, so I gave him my friend's name. He came back again and said he didn't have a car under her name. I couldn't remember what name I gave him the night before! So, I told him what kind of car it was and left again to go search for the vehicle. He finally came back and said he found it.......under the name Kid Law! Needless to say, my friends never let me live that one down and it became my nickname. I guess for that one night I thought I was a rock star!:D
SueW170
Dec 12 2010, 01:45 AM
Being a bear of little imagination (borrowing that line from a friend who has imagination) I simply use my real first name Sue and real initial W as my name in Farm Town.
Since I live in an area of the Pacific Northwest where lots of tall trees (mostly conifers) grow, I named my first farm North Woods Acres and just continued the theme. Old North Woods, though my second FT Farm, means it was the original big farm from which North Woods Acres split off.
North Mtn Retreat is self-explanatory: a mountain resort complete with lake, cabins, stone lodge building and a vineyard and winery.
I needed a name for my town on farm 4 and of course it had to contain the word North. Thus Northburough.
Farm 5 is essentially a forest reserve for growing trees as a renewable resource -- hence, North Forest Reserve.
I was out of ideas when 6 came along, but picture it as an extension of farm 1, on the other side of the road that runs along the left edge of farm 1. So North Woods Acres Ext. (for Extension).
When 7 came out, I decided to depart form the North thing and designate it as "The Rez" -- the Indian reservation in my mythical North Woods County.
I have thought maybe I ought to have a catchy farmer name, but decided it's easier for FT Neighbors to know whose farm they're at if I use the same name they see on my FB pages.

Here's another one - My two farm avatars are called Molly and Mandy. This is because when I was little I loved the story books called 'Milly, Molly, Mandy' and one of my aunties nicknamed me Milly. It stuck with her for a long time, and so my avatars became my imaginary sisters Molly and Mandy. If I remember correctly 'Milly Molly Mandy' was the shortened form of one little girls name - I know the first one was Millicent, but the Molly was a different name - I'm sure it would be on Google somewhere though they go back a way.
It's strange the way some things stick in our minds clearly for many years.

'supertrucker' (my username here) was tacked on by some co-workers years ago -- i worked in the local energy industry, hauling crude oil and salt-water, 29 out of 30 (sometimes more) for close to 2 years; it stuck then, and people who know me well still call me that now and then... Cletus (my avatar's name) kinda suits me, because i'm a bit of a redneck, but with a heart the size of a bus...
StoneFace

You really do need a 3rd farm for Milly.... separate farms for each of the three.... really... and you would automatically have two great neighbors.
My name - StoneFace - is just because my profile pic is that of the bust/sculptor of David by Michelangelo ... out of stone.

LOL - Thanks for the idea Stoneface, but NO THANKS  I'm already going quietly nuts with two sets of farms - not to mention keeping up with my crazy schedule in the real world.
I LOVE this thread. It's fun reading how people got their names.
Bonnie Jo

Bonnie is not my real name but everyone calls me that. Jo is a tribute to my late sister - that was her middle name. I combined them and made Bonnie Jo my farmer name.

My dad used to call me Sessel as a kid, a play on my first name, Leslie. So, I combine Sessel with the first part of my last name, Williams, to come up with Sesselwill. Lots of fun answers from everyone!

First part because I'm an 'Aussie' and 2nd part 'Gecko' because as a child I used to chase Gecko's and Water Dragons near the creek and catch them. Every once in a while I will create a huge yellow and white gecko out of flowers just for the hell of it. :D

Mine is a condensed version of the term "angel in white" sometimes used as a synonym for "nurse". My sister gave me that handle when I got my first computer in 2000.
