All the new trees are locked and do not say at what level they unlock. I hope these are trees we are actually going to be able to buy for ourselves at some point. I am frustrated by all the nice things, including new trees and bushes, that are only available as gifts.

Thanks bunches for the new levels and items. I'm still trying to figure out who would want a junked out car but hey...I suppose that some folk will want it. The port-a-johns are neat but I'm not giving up crop space to offer convenience to migrant workers. ;) If we get more land, I'll be happy to relandscape and include them. ;) I need more land to really showcase all that stuff that I have now.

One minor complaint: Much as I love cherry trees in the spring, I don't want them in bloom year around. It would have been much nicer if they were decorations that we can put into storage.

We have reported to the developers that some members appear not to have gotten the new release. Before you post in this thread that you do not have the new release please clear your browser, close all browser windows and log back onto the game. If you have not linked your account please do so and report to us on which server your farm is hosted. The sever number can be seen when you enter your farm in the red letters in the chat box. this afternoon I logged on and found my level had gone from 35 to 41. I sold 3 houses in order to fit the mansion. Rearranged and this evening have logged on and the mansion is gone and my 3 houses are still gone to. My mansion is now gone too. What gives? I can understand if there are glitches but if my level was changed wrroneously why did my houses not come back too.

Yeah - that'd be neat. We have really cool spring stuff and really cool fall stuff now but I'd really rather change them with the season instead of having them all out at once.

Well, in order to fix that XLINK error message, I downloaded firefox (was using IE), un/reinstalled Adobe, downloaded the plugs and lo and behold...I'm on my farm - finally. So the suggestions posted here did not work at all for me, but downloading firefox did. I really hope this helps others who had the XLINK error message.

We just released a new version of FarmTown with additional levels and items.

10 new crops, including 4h, 8h and 12h crops.
10 new trees available on the store for higher levels
15 new items available to be sent as gift, including 7 non harvestable trees
80 additional items (coins and farm_cash)

We also reduced the XP gap between levels for levels higher than 26, now the gap could be up to 11000, versus 30000 before. For people on those levels, and people that were on level 34 for some time, their current level will be adjusted up based on their XP.

Some people are experiencing some back and forth changes on their current level, we are currently researching the problem.

The issues with the level going back and forth when visiting friends should be solved now.

We are also planning to credit farm cash like we did last time, depending on how many levels you moved up, this should happen sometime next week.

There are some people complaining that items are farther away now, I want to clarify that this is not the case with a concrete example:

Before, you were able to reach level 34 with 150000 XP points, and at that point, you could buy the Mansion. Now you will be able to reach level 41 with 150000 XP points as well, and should also be able to buy the Mansion, which is now locked at level 41, so basically we shifted all items appropiately so there is no additional effort to reach the items that were already on the game.

And by the way, there are too many items now for so little land... ;-)

Unfortunately, that is completely controlled by MySpace, and Farm Town can't do anything about it.

But I have a little problem well my friend has a little problem, see this morning before they did all these great changes she went and bought a few things and leveled up and bought a mansion. Then later tonight she logged on to see how her crops were doing and next thing she knew her mansion was gone... half of her XP's were gone and she did not even get her money back for what she paid for the mansion and now she does not even know where to go to ask what she should do to get her money back. Not really. All of the items that were available at a specific amount of points still require the same number of points and the same number of coins.

I was at level 34, it was sad that I had reached the end. Today I came in to see the new changes and the joy of being able to play this game again is just overwhelming. I cleared out some of my farm to harvest again yahoooo!!!! I love, love the new items....:)

I just want to say that Farm Town is just top drawer. You have always been so elegant and gracious...I am the biggest gamer and if you want to throw down I will heheheh...but my point is the other games beg you with their spam, have annoying pop ups, they bribe you to play..and Farm Town has never ever felt that way to me. OK - the expansion is great and much appreciated. Now, rather than working on expansions how about stabilizing current releases. I still keep losing XPs after plowing and returning home. Not everytime, and different amounts each time. This is a really frustrating and off-puting problem. Very discouraging.

I absolutley love the new FarmTown and all it has to offer now. Thank you for makign it possible. I only have had one problem. I had 34.00 in Farmtown Cash and bought the multicolored swingset and it took away 30.00 of my farmtown cash dollars. However, it was listed for the price of 10.00. So I am missing 20.00 farmtown dollars....any suggetsions on what to do....other than that I love FarmTown....:D

A nice surprise to log on and find new gifts (Shame though that apples, lemons and oranges got dumped).

Then it was a nice surprise to find new levels AND a restructure of the XP levels with it.

Yes, I had the fluctuating changes and the "adoption" of what ever level the neighbour I was visiting at but the time I finished doing my rounds and reloaded, it had sorted out.

So folks, here is a lesson. Marvel at the changes but EXPECT some glitches. THe FT developers have proven they can fix the glitches fairly quickly. And if it MAJOR changes then there are going to be some complications to sort out.

So STOP WHINGING!! And STOP JUMPING THE GUN!!

We just released a new version of FarmTown with additional levels and items.

10 new crops, including 4h, 8h and 12h crops.
10 new trees available on the store for higher levels
15 new items available to be sent as gift, including 7 non harvestable trees
80 additional items (coins and farm_cash)

We also reduced the XP gap between levels for levels higher than 26, now the gap could be up to 11000, versus 30000 before. For people on those levels, and people that were on level 34 for some time, their current level will be adjusted up based on their XP.

Some people are experiencing some back and forth changes on their current level, we are currently researching the problem.

We are also planning to credit farm cash like we did last time, depending on how many levels you moved up, this should happen sometime next week.

There are some people complaining that items are farther away now, I want to clarify that this is not the case with a concrete example:

Before, you were able to reach level 34 with 150000 XP points, and at that point, you could buy the Mansion. Now you will be able to reach level 41 with 150000 XP points as well, and should also be able to buy the Mansion, which is now locked at level 41, so basically we shifted all items appropiately so there is no additional effort to reach the items that were already on the game.

And by the way, there are too many items now for so little land... ;-)

It's nice to have the new levels,,,,,,,,,except that now I just lost over 30,000 coins.....plus I didn't get credit for 3 farms I just harvested and plowed. What's the point of new levels if it just casuses even more problems,,

I noticed this as well. It shows, a + and a - before a number once you leave the farm.

This is, apparently, caused by a lag time between you harvesting on your computer and it being registered on the "other farm". It occurs because there is someone else harvesting the same crop and it was registered first. Same goes for ploughing.

But if you think 50 or 70 points is bad, I have lost 200 and 300 hundred XP with ploughing and at least $20,000 when harvesting on at least 5 occasions. Dagnabbit!

The solution is simple: hire only one or two people to work on your farm and play fair.

I only hire one person at a time now. If they harvest, then I hire them to plough.

It is only fair.

i 110% agree with the above statement about only hire one person at a time and if they harvest then hire them to plow. i seriously had a chic at my farm tell me hire me to plow, where are you, hire me to plow. i left ft and came back to make sure i was seeing things right and over half my farm was not harvested. i asked her, do u see my farm completely harvested and her response was no, but u can hire me to plow and hire someone else to finish harvesting. i said i dont do that, i only hire to plow after its all harvested. i then went back to the market and hired 2 more people only one did the work so i ONLY hired that one to do the plowing. it is really times like that i wish i could "FIRE" someone!

i m having this neighbour n we got along well, we help each other until 2 weeks ago she came to my farm n cannot see me even when i m in it. I can see her but she can't see me. I also ciick on her harvest or plow button she cannot see my msg to acknowlege. when shnne arrive at my farm, she can only see brown leaves n cannot even clear them.

the exact same thing happens to me and my friend brends, my farm is brown and leaves cluttrered on her screen although when I use her computer and log on to my account, my farm looks fine. Then when I want to harvest for her. I can't because she cannot see me to hire me. I cannot hire her either.

I have to disagree .... i was on level 30 and have a greenhouse, your changes made me low level 33... but greenhouse not available under new levels until level 34!

Also, on my hubby's farm, he was almost level 29, with changes he was high level 29, according to exp points, he needed 311 to get to level 30.... so i plowed and planted around 500 plots... more than enough.... and now he needs ......*drumroll please*.....289 exp for level 30! like the changes i seen today. Very cool stuff. But like Raul said at the end of his post. not enough land. We need more space for all the new and cool items.
I very much enjoy the game. Although i get locked out and the game will not load for me every once in a while. My wife lost her whole farm all her crops have died. She cannot load her farm and has not been able to for 2 weeks now... Why???

All the new additions are great! I was like a kid in a candy store looking at all the choices. I even got excited @ new gifts for friends!

When i go to someones farm to harvest after about clicking on 20-30 squares the coins stop collecting. Sometimes when my avatar completes the process and they hire me to plow the request goes through however not always....i get the message that the server has timed out and i need to reload. I don't seem to have as many problems when i am plowing that problem appears to be better. Please find out what the issue is about not collecting coins when i am harvesting on another farm. I really like this game and am excited about all of the changes but I will need to have the ability to collect coins in order to purchase some of the new items.

Huge props to the Farm Town folks for continually making improvements! It's nice to know you all actually care about making constant improvements. Lots of great new stuff, and I really like the addition of higher levels -- keeps folks playing (like The Mrs, who is getting close to the old max).

One comment: It seems like most of the new stuff isn't for those at lower levels ... unless they spend real money on getting some Farm Town cash. That's a bit disappointing, though I can't really complain too much -- it's got to cost a fortune to run the game, upgrades, etc., and, hey, I can't fault anyone for trying to make a buck. :D Just an observation.

Again, terrific work on some really interesting items.

Great upgrades but I am not accumulating coins when I harvest my own plots/fields and when I go to other farms, it stops count after a while as well. However, when I buy something or plow/plant, the coins are ALWAYS subtracted. Whats' up? help.

all the new stuff is great and keeping us interested. what you could add now is a place for us to go to pick a family. like some kids and maybe a spouse or not lol. that would be cool cause then i'd have kids to play with the swing set and stuff like that. but thank you so much for all the new cool stuff you've already added.

For those of us who were at 34 for so long and bought "stuff" because there wasn't too many other options, we really NEED more land. I know we can sell our stuff and start over but come on, we hung in there and should get at least one more change to "land up".

Personally I'm loving the new decorations and options - I'm replacing the fruiting trees that I had been using for landscaping with actual landscaping trees (LOVE the Birch and Poplar). I recently revamped my farm, and it looks like I get to do it again - yay!

I am experiencing the same problem. I am not getting any coins when I go harvest someone's farm but I am getting the coins and XP when I plow for someone.

Also has a new XP guide been published or Raul can you add it to this thread so we know what each level requires.
We know 41 = 150,000.

i 110% agree with the above statement about only hire one person at a time and if they harvest then hire them to plow. i seriously had a chic at my farm tell me hire me to plow, where are you, hire me to plow. i left ft and came back to make sure i was seeing things right and over half my farm was not harvested. i asked her, do u see my farm completely harvested and her response was no, but u can hire me to plow and hire someone else to finish harvesting. i said i dont do that, i only hire to plow after its all harvested. i then went back to the market and hired 2 more people only one did the work so i ONLY hired that one to do the plowing. it is really times like that i wish i could "FIRE" someone!

This has happened to me numerous times as well....I've tried to "fire" them by ignoring them....unfortunately I found out that doesn't work......We should be able to fire people!

i receved mail in farm town telling me that if i would send message to 19 facebook friends i would get 500 green cash. this is not fair to people like me who do not have 19 friends in face book.
It's a HOAX! That message did NOT come from Farm Town. Any time you get a message telling you to forward to X number of people, it's almost ALWAYS a hoax.

Yes when do the trees unlock, I have so many trees still locked at 34, before the update. The only thing I am disapointed in the update is flowers.. no new flowers :(

I was so close to buying a mansion and nearly fell off my chair this morning to now see it at level 41, but Ill still get it with same xp points, yipee!!!!

Thanks for all the new stuff! I too would like more land - in the form of an additional farm - that lets me keep my current neighbors. The reason I'd like a new farm instead of a bigger one is so we will still be able to see it all on the screen.

I know it's a hassle and I'd also prefer a new farm on the same account, but you can always set up a new fb account and tell your current neighbors and then add them to your 2nd farm.....not the most optimum solution, but that's what I did.....

I am on level 33 and was looking forward to level 34 for the mansion.....I am happy Farm Town added more levels but, did you really need to change the level 34 items? Those of us who have been striving for this have just incurred a set back!
