Although as forum moderators we can sympathize as we have all had "Ack! I sold my mansion!!" or "Sheesh, I really didn't want two Toy Factories" moments, reimbursements and refunds are not given via the forum. To request a refund you will need to contact the Slashkey Support Staff.
To contact the support staff Click Here (http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/settings/support/) select the category in the window that opens and fill in a support ticket. However, it is solely up to the support staff as to whether or not you will receive a refund and their decisions are final. IF it is agreed upon that you will be reimbursed, be patient, it may take time for them to get back to you.
Remodelling your farm is easier than ever with the use of the bulldozers and other recent game enhancements. Unfortunately, with these enhancements, it is also easier than ever to mistakenly sell or clear an item. The developers implemented a confirmation pop-up into the game to help avoid accidentally selling the more expensive items, but please, when remodelling, take your time and hide anything you wish to keep.
The same can be said for purchasing items. It is also easier to buy something. On all the less expensive items there now is a 'buy multiple' option and neighbors are able to send Farm Cash items to one another. The developers also implemented a confirmation pop-up that will be received whenever a player attempts to purchase any Farm Cash item. Again, please take your time when making purchases to avoid accidents.
This thread was created for players that have bought, deleted or sold an item by mistake NOT for reporting when something has disappeared or is no longer visible to you. Posts off topic will be removed at the discretion of the moderators without notice.

I knew it would happen one day and sure enough it did! I apparently accidentally sold my 4x4 plower! We need a separate storage for our tools so that does not happen! Now I have to fork out another 45 farm cash to buy another one, and that's not easy to come by for me! So much for saving for the combine!

You can use the drop down menu to filter the storage by different categories so you want see tools when you go to sell stuff.

My son uses the name Atilla D Hun in Farm Town. He wanted to upgrade to a 5x5 harvest plow tool. When I decided to gift him that tool it said he could not do that until he had a 5x5 seeder. So I sent a 5x5 seeder. Somehwere there is a mix up because he already has a 5x5 seeder, in fact now he has two. Can someone reverse this so that I can send him the COMBO TOOL? Thanx Zanker.

I contacted them about accidentaly buying a canadian flag (Im from NY LOL) and they replied with a basic tough nuggies....This just happened and I wasted 15 bucks on a flipping flag..

Contact Support by using the link at the bottom of your farm page on the left side that says Report/Contact this App. Explain to them what happened. It is up to support whether they will give it back. This can take up to two weeks so be patient.

A farming friend gifted me with a farm cash tool but sent the wrong one. I already have the one they sent. Is there any way to exchange the tool for something else I don't have? It was an honest mistake!

Read the first post in the following thread. Instructions are there for how to contact Support. I think it will have to be your friend who does the contacting instead of you, since it was their Farm Cash.

Hi there. Hide absolutely everything you can to make sure they are not hid, if you haven't already. If they are nowhere to be found click the contact/report link located under your farm on the left and fill out a support ticket. They will be able to reimburse you from there.

one other thing to check is say your cows are on farm 1 and your default farm is farm 1 go to one of your other farms and then come back they should re appear what your describing sound like what happens to me and a posable cause for it could be layering.
just be sure Mcdonalds didn't buy them by a rogue stockman (-:

You are not the only one who has ever done this, so don't feel bad.
You will have to contact Farmtown Support to get this fixed. At the bottom left of your farm page is a blue Report/Contact this App. Click on that, choose the middle option on the next screen and then fill out the form. It can take a little while for them to get back to you and can be as much as a couple weeks so be patient. If you don't hear back from them or see your cash return and the extras disappear in a couple weeks then submit a second ticket and tell them you had already submitted a ticket before.

I have just accidentally purchased the same tool I had in storage. In an effort to increase my farms I have layered them all and was trying to improve farming speed when in trying to get the latest tool I accidentally hit on the same tool that I had in storage. They look alike. There should be some alarm or pop=up that alerts you to the fact that you already have that tool in your storage. This looks like a money grab to me and I think I should absolutely be reimbuirsed. It has happened in the past and I have had to sell for peanuts. This situation should be fixed and I hope it is, along with my reimbursement.

Read the first post in this thread for how to contact support. They are the only ones who can give you a refund. Non e of that is done through the forum. Support may or may not give you a refund as the decision is theirs. It can take a while to get an answer depending on how many tickets they have to process.

Is anyone having a problem with buying and or keeping the tools, or having the cash returned if they disappear?
I was saving my cash as my levels went up, and bought the multi tools. Harvester first. / but it only showed on my page one day. So I tried to buy the multi plower instead, and this time neither the tool showed or the cash returned.
I just wanted to know if this was a glitch or a problems others are experiencing as well
I use mozilla or google chrome. servers. as I had trouble in the past with Explorer.
This has happened both on the game in facebook as well as in myspace. Since I play it in both sites. but 2 different names. As the games can't join together because they are not connected that way. Unless that has changed at all.

Have you looked in your storage? Also try hiding everything on your farm and make sure it isn't hidden under or behind something. If you still don't see them, then try clearing your cache and macromedia files. Instructions for this are in the following link:

I even signed out a few times and then signed back in . But nothing is there except the tools I can use on my own farms.
I just want to know if this is happening to someone else. As it is kind of annoying that I can't make it a bit easier for me. To save time and help others. As this is one of my favorite games to play. As I can have live interaction with others. Since I'm home alone a lot . I like to chat and help others . As other farms games I play you do them alone even when helping your friends.

You need to post a link to your farm so one of the moderators can look to see if they can find it. The automatic link is not working so you will have to follow the instructions in the link to manually post it in here:

If they can't see it then you can contact Support a refund/replacement as that can't be done through the forums.

All you do is buy another ground cover from the same place. They are all at the bottom of the list. Each is only 100 coins.

How long before I get a reply...This is at my other farm by the name of Sam Jones, but the report went in from that farm.......I tried to register that one here but that thing at the bottom I tried 20 times and never got it right so I quit..........that thing is pathetic anyway......

A reply could take up to 2 weeks depending on how many tickets they have in the works at the moment. That is no guarantee you will get a replacement or refund as their decision is final. You may think it is pathetic but it is the only way to contact Farm Town Support and they are the only ones who can refund or replace your item.

There is nothing more you can do but to wait for support, it can take a little while depending on how many tickets they have.

The forum is not authorized to give refunds or adjustments of coins or FC, regardless of circumstances. For this, you will need to contact Support by clicking on the "Report/Contact this app" link at the very bottom of the FT game screen. When describing your situation, give as much detail as you can. Also, the response time may be up to 2 weeks depending on how many support claims are in process along with yours.

I have a semi trailor truck and then bought an ordering station in the hopes of increasing the speed of the products as I dont seem to be able to get enough ham/ hot dogs etc for my facilites.
Anyhow, yesterday I was working on someone's farms and noticed that they had a semi trailor on each farm and I thought that buying another one would be helpful to me - so off I went, clutching my farm cash and bought what I thought was another semi truck - only to find that I had bought another ordering station instead!!
Is there any way that I can get my money back on the ordering station so that I can buy another semi truck trailor?
Or is all hope lost?!

I bought the new brown sprinkler and the red one, then found the brown was the same as the one I had in storage...sent an email to slashkey and they refunded the 45fc to my farmtown account...I took both out of storage and placed them on farm 11 (my default farm) so they could check and see I was telling the truth...sent the email late last night and the refund was there this morning...hope you can do the same, lol

No sorry, you will not be able to trade it for something else. The only thing i can suggest is that, as she was the one that sent it, she could try contacting FT support , explain what has happened and see if they can help. The decision would be entirely up to them.
To contact the support staff scroll down past the bottom of your game screen and the Friends Activity panel on the left hand side, click on 'Report/Contact This Application', click on "Contact Farm Town" and then fill out a support ticket. However, it is solely up to the support staff as to whether or not you will receive a refund and their decisions are final. IF it is agreed upon that you will be reimbursed, be patient, it may take time for them to get back to you.

Is this request being ignored. This stupid game should give a warning when we accidentally click to buy a tool we ALREADY own. I even own the 5x5 harvester and 5x5 combine. WHY would I buy a 4x4 harvester!!! NOT!
It was an ACCIDENT. Can someone PLEASE help me here!
What I intended to buy was the 4x4 seeder! Now I have TWO 4x4 harvesters, the 5x5 harvester AND the 5x5 combine harvest-plow. What am I supposed to do with all these? Sell the extras for a pittance of coins?!
If this is how you treat your players then I guess I'm finished with your game!!! Two months' work gone in an instant of a click! I've had it!!!

I have sent 3 different messages through the link provided on this forum, and have yet to recieve a reply to my issue. I even got a message after sending one of the messages that a copy would be sent to my email. I never got that either. I accidentally purchased a second 5x5 harvester instead of the seeder. I have to have the seeder as you know to get the combo tool to harvest, plow, and seed all at one time. I have the others. I spend a LOT of my own money on this game. I have also been playing since almost the beginning of the game. I feel like the least someone could do is REPLY to the reqest I have made to let me know something! I am getting very frustrated as this was (and I admit it was my error for not paying closer attention) but it was an expensive error, none the less. I would appreciate any further help anyone could give me.

I would say that your email may be blocking anything you get from Slashkey. Check your spam folder for any email from Slaskey.com.

I did submit these requests from the correct link under my farm . I have checked my spam folders also to see if there has been a reply sent there, but to no avail. It has been a week since I reported it. We are only human, and as with all things mistakes are made. I have read some of the other posts and it does seem that there should be a way to block you from accidentlly buying a second item you dont need... I hope to hear from someone soon regarding my problem.

I had a similar problem which was fixed after I followed these instructions:
"No refunds/replacements can be given through the forums. You will need to contact Farm Town Support to get it. To do this go to your farm page, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. The link is actually on the bottom LEFT. I can take a while for them to address your problem.

The tree harvester still sits in my Gift Box, weeks later. It's a duplicate and useless to me, but I want them to see it was a gift and is still there.

It is not billing but support that you need to contact. To do that go to your farm page and scroll to the bottom of the page. Look on the left side under the line for Report/Contact this App. Click on that, choose the middle option and fill out the form. That will get to the right place.

It is your friend that needs to contact them and not you. They were the ones the transaction would be recorded under.

It is the person who sent the gifts not the person who was supposed to receive them that needs to contact support. Only that person can get action to get a refund. It can take up to a couple weeks for Support to respond depending on how many tickets they have to process, so sending multiple messages does not speed up the process.

You can not move your farm farm facebook to myspace you will have to start over again. Before you start over again you need a little information, myspace players do not have all the perks of fb players. They can not ask for help in their facilities. You load 15 days worth of stuff in a facility you have to wait 15 days for it to all finish. I don't think they can post ingredient request or belt bonuses either, basically anything we post to our fb walls for ft can not be done on ms.

Normally they are very quick but it is best to wait a couple of weeks before contacting them again i suspect the current issues with myspace farmtown may be slowing things down.
If you havent heard anything within a couple of weeks from the original contact then send a second enquirie.

Yes, they DO actually contact you! And I didn't have to wait 2 weeks, only about a week. Was worth the wait.
Here was their response:

Thanks for that....It gives me hope. I have the "unwelcome" harvester standing on my farm in the hopes that when I log in one day I'll see a repo truck taking it away and bringing my plow. I am soooooooo disappointed by this. Who knew a game would bite so hard and not let go. Lol....I'm actually upset about a cyber farm implement! But hell, it cost me about 2 months and 45 levels to get it! Thats a heck of alot of work.

I believe that is their current automatic response. Wait a little longer and they may respond with your refund. Keep in mind that it is up to them to decide whether to refund it.

I think you are SOL. They can refund coins and farmcash, but don't think put back items or crops. Looks like you will have to start planting rice quickly. :(

The person who sent the second one needs to be the one reporting it, as they would be the one receiving the refund if that is allowed by support.

You will have to contact Support for that as no refunds or replacements can be done through the forums. I upgraded my green forklift to the purple forklift, well unless i can't figure it out...it seems to do the exact same thing, it says in the store that "stores ALL products in ALL facilities" well you still have to click on each facilities and click store all, which is what you do with the green one. Am i doing something wrong?

If you click on the Store All button at the top of your Facility Manager then it will store all of the products from all of the facilities with just one click instead of clicking on each facility.

This isn't a huge issue as I have spares in storage.
However, I created my farm back before we had a second farm option. So, I built my rivers by hooking curves together. I was able to do this by placing dirt paths at the connection points. I tried to place a different river over the dirt (I even used all new dirt paths) and the error message I have been getting reads
"Couldn't move item from storage to farm. Please try again later.":rolleyes:

There is no way you can gift it to anyone. The only way you could do that would be from the store by using the Send button instead of the Buy.

I did the same thing yesterday, only accidently sold 40,000$ of wheat I really didn't want to sell. That is not a game issue it is a 'Not paying attention" issue. I do, however, wish details of all that is required to make a factory function would be in a small detail box as you rest your cursor on the item --- say a factory item or storage item or livestock. It would make life a lot easier, especially for newer players trying to move on up.
I'm just out the wheat I needed for my mill which was the whole point in accepting the harvesting job. Hopefully, it will come back around soon. Have a blessed day.

After an hour of searching areas for a similar issue (and this is one I've had before) I decided to post wild. Of course, flipping through the pages in this section gave me an opportunity to add my two cents worth to a couple complaints. Here is my issue:
Today is the second job assignment I've accepted for Johnny Walker. Today was for Johnny's Farm2 -- a rose farm. Today is also the second time I didn't receive the percentage coins as I harvested. Sadly, I can't post a reply in Chat because it has not worked for me all day. I did post an Issue Thread on this matter earlier.
What can be done about this? It hasn't been a month since I posted the first complaint. As I began harvesting these roses at Johnny's Farm 2, an est $250 was added to my bank roll. After that, it all stopped. I stupidly continued to harvest anyway thinking the issue was just a glitch. I've had them for months with FB games but the money was not credited. After near completion of the job, I left the farm and arrived here.

Have you checked your storage in the Items part? Set the filter to All and look for it.

I was deleting old postings on facebook and hit the "delete facebook" by mistake. thinking it just deleted facebook bonus posting stuff I didn't think about it. Well it wiped out 11 farms and 3 years of work! lol! Anyone know if i can get it back?

If I am understanding what you are saying you deactivated your Facebook account. To delete your account permanently you would have to send a request to Facebook to do so. So I think you deactivated it instead. All you have to do to reactivate it is to log back in.
Are you sure it was Facebook you "deleted" or was it Farm Town you deleted?

I havent sold anything lately including crops so there should be no reason for it to have disappeared...can someone help me..i don't have the coin to buy another one..it was the red one....

First try clearing your cache. Close and reopen your browser. If it still isn't in your storage, then hide everything on your farms and look to make sure it isn't hidden behind something.

If you log back into facebook it will re activate yoru facebook account
if it is that you have blocked farmtown go to your facebook privacy settings and down the bottom you have blocked people & apps click manage blocking and find farmtown on the list and just unblock
or easier still click on my farm link in my picture below and it will open farmtown in a new windows if it is blocked you will be asked to re allow access.
your farms will still be as you left them :)

Hello. I just discovered i no longer have my flower harvester! I very seldom use it so i don't how long it's been missing... i bought it when it first came out (the red one), and i was just hired for flowers, went to use it and it's no longer there... it's not in my storage....
Does things like this happen occasionally? I've been playing over 3 yrs now and it's the first time i have encountered a problem.

I knew it would happen one day and sure enough it did! I apparently accidentally sold my 4x4 plower! We need a separate storage for our tools so that does not happen! Now I have to fork out another 45 farm cash to buy another one, and that's not easy to come by for me! So much for saving for the combine!
I Agree a seperate store for our tools would be better,

No refunds can be done through the forums. You will have to contact Support for that. To contact them go to your farm, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. What did to try to buy? If it was a seasonal item, make sure you have the "show seasonal items" option checked in your game settings, then check you farms again for the missing item.

Hi,
Yesterday I accidentally bought the green car for 22 farm cash not knowing it cost 22 FC(it was late and i wasn't paying that much attention) and then once it was bought I didn't like it so I deleted/sold it.....
Today I realized what I did. Could some one please help. I was hoping to get my farm cash refunded if possible. It was an honest mistake and it has never happened until now.

After sending a request allow upto 2 weeks for a responce as there time frame depends on how many requests are in line.

Firstly all FC items when sold are at coin value not FC. That's the way it has always been.
What you can try, is to contact FT Support, explain your mistake and see if they will help you with an FC refund. To contact the support staff scroll down past the bottom of your game screen and the Friends Activity panel on the left hand side, click on 'Report/Contact This App', then fill out a support ticket. However, it is solely up to the support staff as to whether or not you will receive a refund and their decisions are final. IF it is agreed upon that you will be reimbursed, be patient, it may take time for them to get back to you.

Any tools you sell will only sell for coins. You may be able to get the Farm Cash back for the extra 4x4 tools you bought but it would be up to Support to make that decision. i GET THE BROWN AND THE RED SPRINKLER, but I read at one time the red manure spreader was used for crops and the orange for trees and flowers. If the orange one does it all then why put a red one for sale for FC in the store. What does the red one do?? If anything or did they just take my FC.

Like the plows, harvesters, seeders, etc. you have to buy the red manure spreader before you can get the orange one. The orange one adds trees and flowers as an upgrade to the red doing crops. This is the same as having to own the 4x4 tools before you can buy the 5x5 tools and needing to own both of those to buy the combine.

You can send a help ticket to support to ask for a refund. You do this from the game screen. At the bottom of the page, is "Support", click that link to submit a ticket. They may refund the Farm Cash and then you will be able to buy the item you intended to buy. It may take 2 or 3 weeks for a response, depending on how many tickets they have in cue. Also, watch both your email in box and spam folders, as some email providers will direct the email to the span folder based on the sender's (slashkey) email address.

I made a mistake on "change apperance" and know it's stupid , but I bought 4 sets of clothes without thinking what I was doing ; I was away from playing FT rite after the big changes made to the game for some time and recently returned to the game .... but I wasted $80 in FT green cash not thinking what I was doing .... now I desperatly need that cash back for necessary machinery like a 4x4 harvestor & plow combo .... long story , is there anyway I can get a refund of the $80 FT cash or am I stuck always being behind that much all the way to 310 .... if it's possible where & who do I contact for this request please or am I just wasting my time asking the right Dept., any help & info is greatly appreciated if this can be done . The purple forklift is an addon to the red one, the purple one can't be bought unless you own the red one first.
