Include in your post,

1)What task you were doing when you didn't get XP Points:
2)How many points do you believe you lost:
3)The date of this happening (time and timezone if possible):
4)MySpace or Facebook user:
5)Your server number (this will show in your chat box when you first load your farm E.g. W31)

Please Note:

1. Be aware that providing this information will not result in a reimbursement of xp, coins or in any adjustments to your farmtown account.

2. If you find that you have earned enough experience points but your level did not change or new items were not unlocked in the store that should have been, reload the game by pushing the play button.

3. If the level indicator is not moving, moving very slowly or only says 'experience points' when you hover your cursor over it, refer to the game guide to ensure that you are not already at the last level available.

I need to report that I am having issues with the Facebook logins while working my farms facilities, and sending gifts.... every 2-3 times I get this box that says facebook login and I have to constantly keep putting in my password can we please do something about this Please soon? That million includes both what you get from your own posted belts and what you get from others belt posts, so it can be quickly reached.
Had you posted some belts before getting the brown one, because you are only allowed to post 5 within a 12 hour period.

If you are at level 260 you are at the top level? Are the points not adding to your total or is the bar just not moving? If the bar is not moving and you are at level 260 that is way the bar is not moving. Check and see if the points are adding to the total points.

do you play a lot of games and have a lot of game requests for other games showing on the page? I haven't completely figured out what is going on with that page, but it seems to show games with the most recent requests, and will say you have so many more on the "show all * requests" though there may in fact be more gifts/requests for that game. Once you accept a gift, more will show up as space is made... accept a recent gift and an older gift will be visible at the end of the queue, the most recent older gift so not necessarily for the same game. If you have a lot of gifts for other games you may need to accept some of those for FT ones to show up again.

This means you are at the top level of 260. You will continue to add experience points and when the developers decide to give us more levels then you will jump up to whatever level your experience puts you at.

Yes you have reached the top level. However your experience does keep going up. The bar does not move but the total does go up as you work.

Actually, the bar does move...it just takes a lot to move it.

I believe it takes 1B XP to fill it now.

at present 260 is the highest level :) any work you do will go towards the next levels that the devs will release in due course

if it says unlocks at level 9 and you have just reached level 9 you may just need to reload the game for the game to recognise you have now reached the required level :)

Because you are at the top level. The bar doesn't show it is moving, but your experience is still being added to the total up above that. Until Farm Town adds more levels and then you will jump to whatever level your experience puts you at.

what level are you at if you are at level 260 that is the highest level until they add more. you still get ex points but you meter does not move but your expoints still change. as soon as they add more level you will move up to the new level

level 260 is the current highest if you have a very high xp the last 3 digits often dont show but are changing. :)

Just to add to what Padme has already said. The experience points will still be counting, everything you are earning now will go towards the next levels. Watch the numbers next to the level bar, you'll see them accumulate.

Sounds like you are at level 260 which is the current top level. The experience bar will not move at this point, however your experience total does still go up. When they release additional levels then you will jump to the level for the experience you have earned.

In this case, the first post for that October 15th release revealed that more levels and the #12 farms would be included in the "next release"

It is anybody's guess when then might be.... personally, I think it will be this week.

Are you on level 260? if so the white bar wont move untill the new levels are released.

If you have a huge xp it is possable that you actually are getting the xp the reason you may think that your not is that only a certain number of digits can fit in the xp count space so when you get into the huge xp numbers the end digits dont show but are actually changing even though you cannot see it. :)

How many XP do you have? You will reach level 133 when you have 1,297,000 XP.

It's possible that the game could be loading the XP faster than you can notice it count up, depending on the tools used it loads them in batches.

Before the next time you plow/plant or hire someone to plow. Make a note of the number of XP you have. Then hire or plow. Do a few fields and see if the counter adds them.

Harvesting itself does not give you any coins or experience. The crops you harvest go into your storage and you can sell them at the market to get coins if you do not need them for any facilities.

How many experience points do you each have? That is what determines what level you are on. The moderators haven't updated the game guide yet for the list above 260, but should soon. How many farms you have doesn't have anything to do with levels.

Not quite enough for the next level, so that's why you didn't get any FC yet as you didn't have the xp needed, not too far to go though to your next level :) You'll get 1 FC for each new level you reach.

Hi there,

You don't get xp by harvesting, but you should for planting and plowing.
Stacking/layering is taking advantage of a glitch in the game, it can cause numerous problems and is why it's not condoned by moderators or developers of the game. You are not always guaranteed to get the right amount when using that technique.

For the avatar issue try the suggestions in the 1st post on page 1 of this thread and see if that corrects the problem.

That is the correct amount of xp for level 277, you will reach level 278 when you have 7,198,000XP.

To check you are getting the xp when you are plowing/planting, make a note of how much xp you have before you start, then try clicking a few fields, wait for you avatar to complete the job, then check your xp amount and see if the xp added up. If it didn't just reload your farm (or click the diamond of the farm you are on, to reload just that farm) then check your xp amount again.

Did you make a note of your xp before you started work? Sometimes the game can be slow to load the xp, just refresh the farm you are on by clicking the yellow diamond and the xp points should catch up.

Where did you see it say you can help twice a day?

Tending neighbours is once a day, as far as i know, and you will get 6xp for the first 50 neighbours you visit, after that the xp drops down to 1xp per visit.

I don't know why it's letting you visit them twice in one day, but perhaps the second visit only gives you 1 xp. I will attempt to recreate this when i have more time and see if that is what is happening on mine as well.

For the lack of correct xp on the first visit of the day, could you try clearing your browser caches to get rid of any old data related to FT that may be causing the problem. You may need to leave the visits for one day just to make sure the time hasn't rolled over to the next day when you next try. Also please double check that all aspects of the time and date are still showing correct on your computer.

These two items are only decoration items in the Farm Decor tab and not a facility.

I'm hoping you can help me. I recently came back to FT 2 days ago after a year hiatus. I have been busy planting, plowing, harvesting, and "leveling up". However, It's not showing that I have moved from level 83 to level 84. AND now anything I plant, plow or harvest results in 0% achieved. I receive nothing for my efforts.
Do you know what may be wrong? I do remember that someone had to "reset" my levels once the last time I played. I just went to get the link and found out that I also am not receiving the daily bonus.............. I guess I really need help huh. Oh, I just went to FB Timeline, I hope this is my FT ID#.

According to you Experience showing on your farm you are 645 points away from level 84.
Since you haven't played for a year have you tried clearing your cache and macromedia files. Instructions for that are in the following link:

Also I would suggest you uninstall and re-install Adobe Flash Player as you may not have the current version.
All of these things will help clear out old data and get it reloaded from the server.

Level 285 is the top level at the moment. Your experience keeps going up but the bar doesn't move. Check how much experience you have, go do something that earns you experience then check the amount again. The developers have stated in this last release that new levels will be added in the next release along with a another farm.

The top level at the moment is 285. You will keep on earning XPs but won't go up any levels until the developers add more levels.

They always promise more levels but have only been giving 25 levels every second update so about every 7-8 weeks you get to earn 25 more levels.

Everyone has been nagging them to give us MANY more levels to no avail. I'm at 285 which needed about 7.6 million XP and have reached over 13.6 million XP now. So 6 million XP have earned me NOTHING so far in levels. We're all waiting for new levels!

What level are you at? If it is level 285 then that is the current top level. According to Raul we will get more levels in the next release so at that time you will jump up to your experience level or the top level depending on how much experience you have.

Your level will not go up if your experience points are not going up. Are you looking at the numeric total or the bar? With the bar each time you go up a level the bar goes back to the start to show you your progress.

Has Farm town developed a problem . I have reached level 285 "cash King" and now find that although my experience is increasing the bar does not move therefore my level does not increase and am unable to accrue farm cash to increase sizes of my farms. Hi there. I have merged your post into this official thread. :)

What is happening is that you have reached the highest level. Your experience points will continue to accumulate until more levels are added to the game and at that time you will 'jump up' to the appropriate level and will be awarded the farm cash.

The good news.... 25 new levels will be added sometime next week :D

Are you watching as they are working, because that doesn't show until after you refresh your farm. The change doesn't show while they are working.

Hi there :)

Sorry you're having this problem. I've cleaned up your farm data, which may help, but if it doesn't I'm afraid there's nothing else we can do from here on the forum.

If the problem still persists, you will need to contact the development team via the 'contact/report' link at the lower left of the Farm Town game screen.

I notice that you have a very large number of animals, which makes some of your farms difficult to load. You might consider placing them in sheds to reduce the lag.

You also have heavily layered and staggered/stacked crops on your farms. Layering like this can cause major problems because of the extra strain on the data base, and this might well be the cause of your loss of XP. I would strongly advise you to remove all layers and start afresh.

YES I did reload the game. AFTER I harvested and replanted all of my fields my XPs went up A TINY BIT.

They should have gone up 150-200,000 for the day. The TOTAL WAS 6,000.

Your Experience points are at the center top of your screen with a bar underneath it that shows your progression toward the next level.

What level are you at? If you are at level 310, you have reached the current highest level available in the game. You will continue to accumulate XP's, but the bar will not advance, and you will not increase in levels until they release additional levels for the game.

So, congratulations, you are on the TOP! And welcome to the club that cannot advance and earn additional Farm Cash until the new levels are released! You will get the farm cash for the levels earned once they are released.

What level are you and how many experience points do you have? If you are Level 310 with more than 8,938,000 XP then you you are at top level and will have to wait for more levels to be released. You will however still be earning XP towards them even though the xp bar appears not to move, watch the xp numbers rather than the bar move.

I am very frustrated. One of my neighbors hired me for multiple jobs. I just spent the last 3 hours working on her 13 farms. Harvest trees n crops, flowers, chopping, fishing and plowing...got my coins, but didn't receive ANY XP for the plowing. This is very frustrating.

How much experience do you have? There is a list that will tell you what level you should be for your amount of experience in the Game Guide in Chapter 26.

This is because of the bonus batches replacing some of those you would get normally without the bonus. What you see floating up is the total you would get without any bonus batches replacing those you would be getting experience for. We do not get experience for the ones added by the bonuses nor do those use any items from our storage.

That is because 310 is the current highest level. When they add additional levels then your neighbors will jump to the level of their experience or to the new top level if they have enough to go beyond that. New levels are supposed to be in the next release.

I have worked now on three different neighbor's farms and have not received any experience points for doing this. In my estimation, I should have received 11 experience points. I have been playing this game since it started, I have been planting tomatoes and still remain at the orange level, I was at least 30 levels ahead of many players, for some reason they have went right past me and I still remain the same, even though I am planting daily. I think there is something wrong, don't want to quit but if this continues no sense in playing it.

I used to have the same problem; however, it was not a farm town issue. planting alone is not the best way to level up. Once I put facilities and services on my farm and load them several times a week I started leveling up very fast. In fact I was going through 2 and 3 levels a day until I hit the maximum levels. The more times someone works your facilities and you load them you level up at a faster rate.

Yes, I have the XP, coins box checked. Just moments ago I harvested a huge field of layered pumpkins, but the game stored only 4 bushels to take to market. This has happened consistently for several days. :confused:

For some reason for the last few weeks I've noticed that I don't collect coins and xp's while I"m 'farming'... whether on my own farm or working someone elses.. It waits til I'm done and then starts collecting them and won't let me change farms til its completed. This is really starting to be a time issue and aggravating. Also the last few days I've noticed I have to 'plant' some plots a couple times before it shows actually planting. Do I need to change settings somewhere to correct these issues? I've not messed with settings other than hiding or revealing trees, flowers, buildings etc.... And so you know.. I've emptied cache, history, etc... updated Flash player and still having issues.

How many experience points do you have? It should still be showing without having to click on them. At 10,135,000XP you will reach level 331. The Game Guide has that info if you need it...........

usually new levels are added every second or third update. Update are usually every 3 weeks so figure about 9 weeks for new levels. I know you all have 143 million xp and want your level updates to get your farm cash but please be patient. The more of a rush we put on the devs the less quality thats going to go into the updates then itll be glitch glitch glitch complaint complaint complaint. Let them do their jobs without screaming rush rush rush at them. Im all about quality over quantity so if i have to wait a couple days or weeks on a quality update as opposed to a crappy one thats here in a heartbeat then thats fine by me.

I too am "stuck" on level 335. But I don't consider it "stuck". I am working on my XP's so I can make it to the next top level when it comes out. I don't get bent out of shape with the levels. I just farm and accumulate my XP's. I get X number of coins and then spend them. It's a game...not a competition....enjoy whatever level you have. I enjoy helping lower levels make it to the next level. I walk away when I know they don't have the tools....makes me nervous, but we all began there. You a low level...look me up. If you are at level 335, that is the top level for now until the New Release comes out and the bar graph on your XP will not move but the numbers on your XP does go up. As far as your phantom gifts have you cleared your cache, cookies, and history to see if that helps.

I am on level 335, but I am not getting the correct amount of XP when I load my facilities, sometimes I am as much as 900 on 1 facility, and when you have a lot of facilities, this soon mounts up. I don't have a drive throu etc to load my facs, so I click the 30+ button, this is when I noticed I wasn't getting the amount of XP I should be getting. When you have over 10 million fuel the display drops the last digit as well. It would be nice if this was fixed. Thanks.

It is me who is now in the minuses.

The problem is that some computer systems max out at the number 2,147,483,647. the FT system which shows data will show my correct amount, but my farmtown screen when I and others view it doesn't allow it to go above this number so it puts a minus before it and starts counting backwards. With my last 5 trophies they have minuses before them too and have started counting backwards as the wouldn't go above this magic number.

For you gifts if they are bait then you need to click on each one individually as the Store All doesn't work for those.
The amount of XP you get will vary from facility to facility depending of what XP is offered for each product and how many batches for each item are needed to fill it. It will not be the same for all facilities.

Taz D you are a star, I didn't know that each one had to be stored individually, now if you could only sort my other problem out for me I would be eternally grateful.

No the XP isn't the same for each facility, but I checked my XP before I start, I clicked the +30 button to put something into production and for example I do this 3 times and this should equal 90 XP (I know different facilities have different XP's) my new XP should be my original plus 90 but often this is not the case, when I total them up. Is there an explanation for this?

Hi Tony, my friend sent you a message regarding the upper limit on experience points being 2.147... Billion, and after that the experience points go negative and start subtracting instead of adding. I asked her if she had heard from you and the answer was negative. I also know a number of other players that are approaching that point, so I do believe that the developers need to know that they need to adjust their code to allow for higher scores. I am sure she would appreciate even an acknowledgement of the receipt of her message.

What level are you at? If it is 360 that is the top level. When you are at the top level the bar that shows your experience needed for the next level doesn't move. However the count above that will still show your experience is still going up. Look at it as you work and you will see that the total keeps going up.

My XP's at the top of the game keep going UP an DOWN! Plus they STOP all together, while working someones farm or while they are working on mine! It has been doing that intermittently now for a quite a while but since the last upgrade it is real obvious! I wasn't too worried but when it started Stopping an then going backwards in count (xp's) an the coins aren't being calculated correctly I decided to report this!

Since I am at the top level an have a lot of pts an coins I wasnt too concerned to a point but now I am as It isn't helping me in the long run to lose! Please help! I have also had a neighbor tell me hers has stopped while working my farms so not sure if its because of mine or hers....?

One more thing, It doesn't show when someone is working my farm like it used too, it will for a couple minutes then quits. I am using Google Chrome while all this has been happening recently but had the same issues not as often in Firefox too. I also clear out my cache constantly an do all the other required things you have given for us to do. Please Fix this also.

The only way I see that someone is working is when I refresh my browser, by just clicking on the farm I am on an having it reload that doesnt seem to work like it used too.:( Plus in Google it isn't as easy to just reload the farm itself as it was in Firefox. How can this be fixed???

Are you at level 360? if so thats the top level, your xp points will continue to increase, but the progress bar will appear to not go up, thats because there aren't any levels for it to go to until such time the developers add more. If/When they add more, your level will reflect the extra points you have earned.

Just tried on mine and the points loaded fine. Have you tried reloading the game? If not try that and see if the xp counter updates.

Hi there,

Its sounds like the data is just not keeping up with you as the work is being done. Your screen will update at a different rate to your hired worker. Waiting for the work to be completed/reloading when done should help it to catch up.

If that doesn't work and you haven't already tried it, clear your browser caches, exit browser and reload to help the stray data clear. It may clear whatever is causing the problem.

Responses from Ft support can take anything from a few hours to 2 weeks. It really depends on how many tickets are ahead of you and what their workload is.

If you are level 360 that is the top level and the bar will not move though the number above it will still show they have added. If that isn't it then try clearing your cache and restart your browser and see if it starts adding again.

As Ninkitty has already said, 360 is the current top level. The XP bar will not move as there is no next level to reach yet, but you will still be earning xp towards the next level, just watch the numbers above the bar increase.

New levels will be coming in the next new release.

If you are at level 360 then you are at the current top level. Your experience number will continue to go up but the indicator will not move. The next release will have new levels added and you will jump up to what ever level your experince number is.

You can also buy Farm Cash with Facebook credits, or do surveys and the like to earn Farm Cash. In the game you'll see the "Buy Cash" and "Earn Cash" tabs on the game window. Be cautious about "Earn Cash" as people have been scammed that way. "Buy cash" is safe enough, but costs you real life money.

Are you saying your experience points went down or didn't go up? Are you looking at the bar or at the number above it which is your total experience points? What level are you?
If you are at level 385 which is the current top level, then the bar will not move even though the number above it will still increase. You will still continue to accumulate points and if or when they add new levels then you will jump up to the level of your points.

I have no neighbours with over 100 million XPs so I haven't tried this and it may not work, but you can try sending an in-game message to a friend and ask them to reply with the number of XPs showing under your name in the top right corner of the mail popup.

Check those digits - are you on level 358 or on 385? 385 is the current top level.

Is there going to be some new levels for us in the near future? It's disappointing to not be receiving our Farm Cash as we keep our farms going.
Only the developers know and they aren't saying.

I have reached level 400 and my experience points dont seem to change now I notice my neighbours seem to have stuck on 400. Does this mean I am working and wont get any more farm cash?

You have reached the current top level, so no you won't get any more farm cash until the developers add more levels. Then you will move up to the level according to how much experience you have. The experience total (above the bar) will continue to go up as you work, but the bar will not move.

So does this mean I working for nothing ? Many will quit the game if this is so. There will be no point in wasting time working for other farmers to gain xp points to obtain more tools/ facilities etc.

No it doesn't mean you work for nothing. You will still collect your experience points. And when the developers add more levels then you will move up to whatever level you have earned enough experience for getting the farm cash for the number of levels you gained.

Right now level 400 is the highest level until they add more levels, your xp points will continue to go up, but the xp bar will not advance since you are at the highest level. If/when they add more levels your level will be adjusted according to how many xp you have at that time.

like to report missing experience points. none of the last hour has counted towards points..its stuck at 1269259..only field #2 counted and none of the rest..in the last 2 hours..lost point from fields 3 through 6 at 2:45pm CDT..Facebook user..was on server WF39..thanks ..have cleared cache 3 times..nothing helps

Clearing caches may well have corrected whatever stray data may have caused the problem. If you haven't already done it also try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting". Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Clear your browser caches, close browser.

I'm having problems with my harvesting and plowing not following me when hired and losing all the bonuses that go with that particular farm. It takes to long to show finished and takes forever to catch up and then the bonuses expire. I am on FB using FT.

When I am loading my Flower shops I had noticed that the XP shown at the top of the screen did not go up as much as it should. Today I started a calculator and as I loaded a Flower Shop I would add what scrolled up and off the screen after I clicked START ALL. i did this for 8 flower shops and they were each showing 3924 xp but the total was 8125 short when I finished them. I even refreshed thinking that part of the xp might show up then but it did not. It looks like I am losing approximately 25% of what I should be getting, At least on the flower shops but I don't see any reason for them to be any different than anything else.

Why does it not level up anymore? Also when I log in it tells me that I have an error, that it timed out.
