This thread is for reporting problems concerning anything that has gone missing on your farm. Please read the following information BEFORE posting in this thread. Thank you!

If you have anything missing from your farm,

check your preferences (the wrench) to ensure that the item has not become hidden. Note: Sometimes, especially during a new release, your preference settings will change on their own. So double check!!

If the item is still missing,

clear your browser’s cache and Macromedia cache files. Then restart your browser and reload the game. You may even want to go one step further and restart your computer rather than just your browser.

If nobody else can see it either,

you will need to contact the Farmtown Support Team. Hi, just to be sure can you try clearing your memory cache again please


I only did that on Thursday morning and wasnt able to load the game until this morning.

I have redone it again now and I got my green screen again.... That only happens when I clear the cache.... If I only clear cookies browsing history and macros then I can load the game. (this one has me stumped as well)

The cache that causes me problems is when i go into my history and clear it through there. I use Google chrome but i wont be able to load in IE either. Uninstalling and reinstalling flash as well as chrome doesn't help and i have even tried Firefox browser. I cannot see slashkey blocked in my Mcafee anywhere.

Clear browsing history
Clear download history
Empty the cache
Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data
Clear saved passwords
Clear saved Autofill form data

The first three items are ticked. is that what you have ?

Hello,

Try clearing your caches, close browser then reload. Check again for the missing tool and facilities. If you placed the tool into storage, make sure the filter is set to "all" when you look for it.
If you have already tried those things, please provide a link to your farm showing in your post so someone can check your account for you.

I already did what you've said but I didn't find my missing tool nor my other facilities that were missing. It is okay if I didn't use any farmcash for buying those stuff.

Is it possible that you're missing Salt or Oak Log Pile instead? Those two items are also needed, to start production of a batch of Smoked Salmon. When you click to start a batch, does the pop-up message tell you that you're missing one of those items... or only Salmon?

Which big lakes do you have? Salmon are only in the Big Lake with the boat in it and the small lakes, both cost farm cash not coins.
I checked the farm you show listed at the bottom of your post and you do not have a smoke house or any lakes on this farm. Do you have another farm account?

Most likely your crops have reappeared because you cleared your macromedia files and cache. Your green screen after clearing data is because farmtown has to reload everything to those files. That does take longer to open the farms because of the reloading. Have you tried letting the green screen sit for a longer time and see if it will finally get everything downloaded and open up?

yeah i have had it sit for 15 - 20 minutes at a few different times whilst looking into my antivirus and google program... it has been up to a week before being able to load the game before after clearing data... i know it can take some time to load some websites and games after clearing data but normally only a couple of minutes not hours or days.... this one has me stumped... for some reason ft and my browser cache clearing dont agree with each other...

This is a little different problem. Lately this has been happening a lot. I go in to a farm and plant my crops and everything is just fine. Then later, when I go back to check on their progress, there is nothing there. I have a nicely plowed field, ready for planting. Where did my crops go? This happened again last night. I planted all of my farms. When I went to check on them, everything was fine - until I got to Farm #9. No crops. Just a neatly plowed field. I just replanted it with raspberries.

Any idea where my crops are disappearing to? Anyone else having these problems? I am not 'layering' or 'stacking' crops. This is just one crop on one level.

@TAZ Yes I am speaking for my partner. It seemed pointless to have two accounts. The other account has 5 Big Lakes. Why label it a small lake when it looks like a big lake? I want a refund for the 5 big lakes that I purchased 400k coin each just for the salmon! That is BS to list salmon in small lakes that look like big lakes. Looks like Bait and Switch scheme to me.

@MAX_RIVER did check today and yesterday's donation was in the gift box. The Gift box shows itself when there are gifts there daily. I get gifts daily from fellow farmers.

Hi Slashby, Glad to see u.
When you click on your fuel station for refuelling, all your fuel tanks from your storage goes to the fuel station and then to either your combined harvester/plower tools etc. You are only allowed to refuel once a day. After one refuel u've to wait till the next FT day to get another refuel. So my suggestion is to get as many fuel tanks as possible to refuel depending on how much of fuel u are going to use on your farm.

All you have to do is click on the green question mark of the lakes, rivers seacoasts and ponds to see what fish are in those items. If you want to try to get a refund on those lakes you will need to contact Support as no refunds can be given in through the forums.
The daily gifts you get do not go directly to your gift box. You have to accept them through Facebook link to Game Requests in the left column of the Home page. Then they will show up in your gift box after you accept them.
The Ingredients requests you post will show up directly in your gift box when neighbors help you with those.

My friend was putting some trees in her storage when she got a message her storage was full, so she went to the market to sell some of the things taking up space, but when she entered the market place she got an error message and the game reloaded.
Now her 5x5 plower is gone from her storage and she tried everything, clearing cache and that, but her plower is still gone. She stilll has her Combine Harvest/Plow in her storage and it works fine, but she would like to know what she needs to do to get her plower back.

If she sends a private message to one of the mods, (their names are in green font)they can have a look at her forum account and see what needs activating. She'll need to provide a link to her farm so that her farm account can also be checked for the missing plower.
In the meantime, after she cleared caches, did she close browser and reload before checking her storage with the filter set to "All" ? If not ask her to try that please. See if it shows up again.

Did you get the stable before they were moved to facilities? If so then you will have to take all the horses out of the stable, put it into storage, refresh your farm, then put it back on the farm and re-add your horses. This is the same problem we had with the Rabbit Hutches.

Were you charged for the building, if not then the game didnt place it. If you were, did you have show buildings checked in your game preferences when you looked for it?

If it's not either of those, please provide a link to your farm showing in your post. Let us know which building it is that is missing, and which farm you placed it on, so someone can take a look for you.

Hi, I did turn on the buildings.. I also cleared all cache, global etc.. The building is not showing on my farm... In addition to that how long does it take support to answer emails? Clearing data will clear all farms, not just one farm. Clearing your data at this point would not be good because 1) You are stacked. And 2 ) You have flowers, buildings, etc layered into those stacks and those could be gone with the cleaning. Support can take up to 2 weeks.

We can't replace the building, FT support would have to refund if they choose to, but if stuff is repeatedly disappearing, then I'd be betting your farms data is too full/corrupted from the layering and the stacking. If it was me, I would either unlayer or unstack or both.

One time last year, a friend of mine had her farm too full that stuff would actually disappear when she placed stuff on the farm. She cleared stuff off a bit and then stuff stuck.

I chop my oak trees every time that they are ready... but I go in to the sawmill and they are not there to process. My pine trees are there, my maple trees are there but for some reason.. not the oak. Suggestions??

Could you have used them in the smokehouse before you got round to loading the sawmill ? That uses oak logs and not the oak lumber.

Anything that cost me FT$ which I must say is a tremendous amount of my own money, why? because I love the game.. Will any of these items that are in storage be lost when the data is cleared? We also should have the option to purchase more farms so we actually have room to plant stuff. I have over a hundered active players on my end so I need the crops/trees/flowers and facilities to make it fun for my neighbors and friends.

Yes the modern school was showing in my facility manager. I added all facilities to storage prior to you clearing data, the modern school was not showing up in either, thus the reason to notify you of this.

Off to my farm now. What does clearing data actually do?

Today I hired someone to harvest five large fields of rhubarb and some of wheat. The worker also plowed. The crops never showed up in my storage. This is a large expense to lose. Any help here?

Have you tired clearing your caches lately? Please try that, to get rid of any old data related to FT, see if that corrects the problem. After you've cleared them, close browser and reload the game.

Did you check all your farms and your Item storage with the filter set to "All" ? If you've tried that, please click on the following link, read the 1st post on page 1, and try the suggestions there. If after trying those, you still cant find it, post a reply there, with a link to your farm showing in your post, so one of the mods can check your account for you.

Could anyone else have had access to your account and placed them into storage or sold them? Check your item storage with the filter set to all, just in case they are there. If you have already contacted FT support, you will have to wait for them to get back to you. Depending on how many support tickets they have received, it could take up to 2 weeks for a reply.

I waited to respond to check again. I just harvested pine trees and oak trees. I have about 46 oak trees and about 37 pines. I then rebooted my computer after chopping them down and when I went in to the sawmill, there was 1 pine and 13 oak. (hey..more oaks than I have had in a long time).

I don't see it anywhere either. You'll have to contact FT support for a refund. FT support is the 'report/contact app' link under the FT game screen. It can take up to 2 weeks depending on how many support tickets they have.

It can take up to two weeks for them to get back to you. It depends on how many tickets they have to get through.

Only thing I can suggest is that you contact FT support and perhaps get a reimbursement, but it is up to their discretion. You can contact them with the "report/contact app' link under the FT game screen.

First, make sure 'freeze animals' isn't checked, although frozen animals will help make the game run smoother.

Second, make sure 'show trees' is checked.

To answer both your questions Tony - yes and yes!:) I am able to water my own flowers but as soon as I am hired by anyone, I cannot water their flowers, as the sprinkler does not appear in the extended tool box when I am working their farm. It used to in be there, but hasn't been there of late. I do have it stored in my storage. Thanks.

Try clearing your cache :)

Also make sure 'show flowers' and 'show trees' is checked in preferences.

I have a problem since all my data was cleared last weekend. I have finally made it to farm 9 to redo it and found all these seeders on it. I have never had a seeder on this farm as I place everything on farm 1. I have cleared all cache, global etc after selling these seeders. If I go back to the farm right away they do not show up.. After around an hour they do. I have deleted over 50x now over the last couple of days to no avail. Can someone please help me out and get rid of them..

Since I consolidated most of the facility buildings into one farm last week, it's getting frustrated for me. I have cleared the caches, logged out my Facebook and closed the browser at least ten times or even more than 20 times but it is still not working. Yes, I once deleted "cdn.slashkey.com" from my marcomedia files (per the FarmTown moderators' instruction) but the loading problem remains unsolved. I'm getting sick of noticing at least one facility building missing while I keep loading the farm every time after I clear the caches, reset Safari browser and logged out/in to my Facebook. None of my preferences apply to this as buildings are still visible. I believe that it could mystery glitches but it is not the same time.

For example, on my first attempt to load, I notice at least one facility building (i.e. Daily Processing) missing. On the second attempt after clearing caches and logging out, I notice that the Daily Processing appears but another facility building (i.e. Tea Factory or whatever) is missing. On the third attempt after clearing caches and logging out, I notice that the Daily Processing and Tea Factories appear but ANOTHER facility building (i.e. Ice Cream Factory or whatever else) is missing.

On my farm 6 there was a chemical plant when trying to load farm keep getting chemical plant retry 3 to load farm . farm loads no plant when i go to wk on others farms does the same thing if they have one takes 3 retrys to load. Here I have attached a couple of my snapshots every time after I logged out my FB, cleared the caches, closed the browser, re-opened the browser, logged back to my FB and open to load the FT game. Keep in mind that even though I deleted the "cdn.slashkey.com" from my marcomedia files once, the problem of missing facilities has persisted....continuously.

Make sure you restart your computer since you've done all that.

Hello,

I crude oil used every 6 hrs, is 4 a day per product. If you are making both products in one oil refinery, to max the oil refinery out (15 days worth) you would need 120 crude oil.

Only the devs know if/when there will be new land :)

Clearing your cache gets rid of the temporary files and basically helps your computer ran better. Everytime you go to a website, data is stored and this clears it.

When you say cleaned out, do you mean cache and macromedia files, just to be clear? Make sure you restarted your computer after doing all this stuff.

i had my ordering station on my farm 9 and it is missing. the last time i saw was before the update. i was not realy paying attention to it but i did notiice the other day my trucks where not producing faster. so today when i was redoing that farm it is gone i did check my other farms and storage. i clean my cache and mac files and updated everything and it is still gone. i am just wondering are modes able to check our storage and see registering for them. i do not want to fill a official ticket if it is there and just not showing up for me. can you let me know if there is way and then i have to go use another browser so i can link my farm so you can check for me thank in advance for any help

yes i checked storage - other farms - everything - everywhereHI, we cannot do replacements or refunds via the forum, the only people who can do this is the Support team. You can contact them by clicking on "report/contact this application" underneath the game screen (if you have not already done so). you do have a lot of building on top of crops, this may not be the cause of your problem but layering buildings over crops etc.. can mess with your farm data.

when did you report it may take a couple days depends on how many tickets they have before yours but do not give up. if you have not heard back in a couple days send another on in and tell them you all ready reported as they take care of it

Lose them from where? Your gift box in game? Or gifts on FB? They shouldn't be deleting unless FB is acting up.

Thank you.Hi, I just checked your farms. I can see a Semi on farm #2 , is that the farm you are referring to ? If so try clearing your memory cache and deleting your macromedia files (info in the blue link below). Also check the facility manager and see if the Semi appears in it.

Yesterday my husband had over 22,000 corn in his storage. Today he has 400! He is now replanting corn on every farm. He has been doing the dan degrees and has all 6 of them in corn is why he had so many of this crop. However, to lose over 22,000 in one night!?!? Is this happening to anybody else? Will they come back? Will Farmtown get them back to him? He is very upset over this and I don't blame him. How many bakeries do you have? Your farm account shows you have 1 bakery somewhere.

I didn't see the the bakery and office supply on farm 8.

Firstly, hide everything you can (trees, buildings, etc) to make it easier to see if somehow it's covered by something else. Secondly, clear your browser's cache memory. Anytime something goes missing, clearing the cache should be cleared to force your computer to read new file data from the FT server rather than from your cached files. Here are instructions on clearing cache, if needed...

I've had contact with support on 3 occasions dealing with farmcash issues. They have never failed to respond. It sometimes takes a week or more. It seems to take longer after they've updated the game. I've always been treated with respect and they have never failed to refund my farmcash. That is one of the reasons I have continued to play the game and am willing to spend real money on it. Please be patient or send them another polite email.

Did you put them in a chicken coop or leave them loose on your farm? If you left them loose then try hiding everything in your preferences and see if they show up. They could be hiding under or behind other things.

No refunds or replacements can be done through the forums. You will need to contact Farm Town Support to get this taken care of. To contact them you will need to go to your farm page, scroll all the way to the bottom and look on the left side for Report/Contact this App and click on that to send them an email ticket.

If those items were at full growth and ready to be harvested then they will not fertilize. You can only fertilize items before they are ready.

You are going to need to explain a little better then. You harvested your cows, is the milk showing up in your storage? When you say you have nothing showing in your dairy facility, did you start production of products and now there is nothing there or is it you cannot start any production?
Was any of this from yesterday when the servers were having problems?

Yankeealleycat, since these are seemingly random issues you're having (one dealing with display and one suggesting connection) there might be a problem with your browser or flash with simple data corruption. First thing I would do is uninstall which ever browser you are currently using, reinstall it, and then reinstall flash player with a fresh copy from their website. Try Farm Town again and you may be pleasantly surprised. :)

I had decided to keep trying instead of quitting. I'm disabled and don't have much I can do, but this game is fun when it works! I've got things missing again.....it's not fish this time. It's dairy products. I harvested my cows and such. Got nothing showing in my dairy facility, NOTHING. So, where did they go. I've done all the cleaning caches and everything, now what? Can someone fix these problems???? I assume I'm not alone from what I read today. When, where, how, why? :confused: Can we get some answers? Or are there more questions? I do appreciate your help and know it's not your fault, but unfortunately you're on the flipside of this letter, so I hope you have big shoulders, sorry.:o

Just as a thought if you happened to time out at that moment, try clicking on chicken coops again to see if they didn't actually harvest. I had that happen tonight while trying to plant a field. Went back to farm and only half was planted.

Taz, I have had that happen as I was sending products from factory to storage where I had to reload only to find half of my factories were not harvested. I did try 4 or 5 times after reloading and nothing. Those eggs are gone.

i've planted & harvested artichokes about 4 times today & not used any of it & there is not one single artichoke in my storage. where's it gone please?

Any chance you use the check box system in the storage?

You know to sell all that are checked..

I know I kept selling stuff that I didn't need before because I had checked it to sell.

Plant a few more, don't sell anything and look for it in storage to see if there is a check mark in the little box..

Lost all my meat deliveries today too. Took large delivery, signed off, cane back later. Not meat in storage. Didn't sell 'em. Took another small delivery later, and they made it to storage. This has happened before.

I sure don't mind friends even if they don't have big shoulders. Sounds like you and I share a few bad ailments and I'm sorry about that. You might probably are worse off than me. I can have big shoulders too if needed, but my right one is frozen. ok, well I'm glad you took the time to write to me here and thank you for being my friend as well.:):)
