Howdy Farmers! Welcome to the Official Best Farm Town Contest. Post your fabulous farms here for a chance to win some Farmcash!!

The Forum Team will choose four winners. First Place: 200 FC, Second Place: 100 FC, Third Place: 50 FC, Fourth Place: 25 FC.

Each contest will be based on a different theme. This month's theme is "Best Beach". - Refer to post number 2 in this thread for more info.

Please, do not enter your farm without reading this ENTIRE post. Thanks!

This is my first farm. It has had many changes since I started, from six red mansions, the only one's that were available to where we are now.The name Charming come's from the cable show Son's of Anarchy, a show I was watching when I re did this farm. Hope you like it

my entry for comp is based on Brighton Pier during its heyday i know Brighton has a shingle beach but hey call it artistic licence

to bloom, but it's worth the wait:

For those interested in doing the same on their farms, it's easier than you think it is:


Plant some plants in a single line around
the outside of your farm
Turn off your flower display and you'll be
left with red squares showing the locations
you can plant. Extend those lines in a grid
that crosses the whole farm.
Find an image editing program (I use
GIMP--it's like PhotoShop, but it's free)
Find a picture you want to have planted
in flowers
Posterize your image using GIMP or
whatever you use
On a new layer, bring your posterized
image overtop your grid and make the
posterized image slightly transparent
Assign a flower color to each of the
posterized areas and start planting


I planted all of my flowers after having put
them in storage, because that makes them
stay watered all the time--I no longer have
to water any of them.

Farm #2 "Sand Bar Island" a family vacation spot with trees producing fruit for various facilities. Also have plenty of sea coast fishing to provide hotels and restaraunt. I have a twin tower type Hotel, a Motel, and two private homes. This has since Feb of this year been a sea coast farm named Klysta's Lighthouse , as my daughter Klysta collected light houses, was a marine biologist, and she passed away in Feb so as a tribute to her I made this farm.

Come on over and enjoy a drink at the pool bar or rock out by the band stage. You can even climb the rock wall, go surfing, borrow a tube and relax, or take out a kayak to the sandbar island. If you want some extra excitement you can take a stroll over to the boardwalk and ride the mechanical bull. Enjoy the day on my beach farm! :D

For a better view of the beach and decorations, hide the trees. :)

I hope you enjoy your visit to my "Beauty of a Beach". Plenty of parking is available and gorgeous colors abound as you enter this spectacular beach! Please stop by my farm in person; this photo doesn't do it justice!

Kids can have lots of fun in the playground and waterpark, featuring two huge water slides and lots of things to play with, and in! As you can see, a school crowd is there right now!

Onwards to the cascading waterfalls, absorb the beauty of lavish landscaping while you relax is the luxurious hot springs. Afterwards, spend time at the beach kayaking, floating in huge inner tubes, or just taking a cool dip on a warm summer's day! Maybe have a game or two of volleyball! Don't forget to stop by the bar for a refreshing drink (there's a huge variety) and then sun yourself in comfy lounge chairs near the shores. Later, enjoy your evening in the well appointed "hut" that you reserved, with plenty of beds for everyone!

There's so much to do here you won't be able to resist coming back time and time again!

I hope this posts correctly and you can view Sandy Isle Resort -- Farm 4. The tide is out so boats are docked at the moment but you can take the helicopter to the island for a gourmet picnic and privacy. Watch out the sandies don't pinch your toes tho'!
