I am having major problems all of a sudden. Game is real slow. I get the box telling me to click the green circle or the red to reload. The icon to click to go off line flashes when this happens.

My harvest buddy and I have been doing what we call connected....(when your friend all of a sudden disappears and if you reload the farm they come back) a lot more than normal. I get the above box also a lot the past couple times working with him. I had to shut down my internet last night cause I couldn't get the farm to load.

It took me over 15 minutes to work a friends facs which usually take about 5 tops.

I used to be on WF 4 all the time. Now I pop in on WF 36. I want my WF 4 back. I never had any problems when I had it.

I use chrome and just talked to my internet provider and it's not that. Everything is fine with that.

Had to vent. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. :)

I hooked the CRC right up to a Hospital... next to the Nursing Home,... which is next to the B&B


now.... I am ready for farm 16, and while I wait... gotta work more on the ballads, or psycho-mommi and others will put me into that nursing home.

Ever since the Farmtown version upgrade on 23-August, I have/am having major problems playing the game. It is now taking me 2 - 3 times longer to work my farms (I used to be able to work all 15 farms in about two hours, now it is taking me over four hours!) The game has slowed considerably - I keep clicking the same field two to three times before it will actually harvest. It appears as though if the avatar is walking, nothing else can be done. The upgrade was supposed to eliminate crashes, not bring the game to a crawl. It has gotten so slow, that I find that I do not have time to work my neighbors farm. HELP!!!

clean out your drives since the last upgrade things got pretty crappy i had so many contaminated files it was unreal cleared them off and now ft is running like a singer sewing machine

Dont know if this problem is related to the Flash player problems but I am suddenly unable to post any requests for work or bonuses - I get the pop up asking if I want to post - click yes and then nothing at all!

Im using Google Chrome with Flash player 11.3.31.230. I did disable the old Flash plug ins and download the newest one but it was so unbearably slow I went back to this one.

Chrome itself has not updated to the newer version of Flash (11.4???)

I have had no other problems with crashing as others have.

Im on WF8, using Windows 7, on a fast broadband connection.

I just tried the game and posting my Services work in Firefox and it works so it must be a Google Chrome issue.
Check in Chrome and make sure Pop ups are allowed for slashkey.com and L1.slashkey.com. It may have changed after an update from Chrome.

Where do I find pop-ups? I guess its in the tool icon on the top right somewhere?

Its OK I found it but it hasnt made any difference - it was set not to allow pop ups - I changed it but I still cant post

In that part there should be an "Exceptions" button. Add those 2 sites and set them to allow.

Were able to add them? If you were able then close your browser and restart it for the change to take effect. If you couldn't get to that then recheck the block and then click on the exception button.

Hmm you could try also adding "r1.slashkey.com" and "apps.facebook.com" to the exceptions.

Failing that as you have another browser, try uninstalling chrome and install a new copy.

Ok....Try doing the same for Apps.facebook.com and Facebook.com. You might also want to add those to the exceptions for cookies too.

Sorry Taz and Tiger - tried adding the extra sites - nothing - all I get is the pop-up with the green tick or the red cross - I click Yes to post and then nothing happens.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing Chrome - it was working fine until last night.
Could it be AVG's new "Do not track" - a feature that stops trackers on sites tracking you? Firefox disabled it and said it wasnt compatible.

Yes - it WAS AVG - there were two items - Facebook Connect and Facebook Social Plug-ins that were being blocked by the AVG do not track - I allowed them and I can now post. thank you both for your help.

Just went and did a check on flash i use google chrome and it says new versions of adobe flash are downloaded automatically by google chrome when they come out. How would i check or where to see what version my PC is running?

I am still to chicken to disable anything, I am not sure about. But i do have Chrome up too, went over to tools, clicked about Google Chrome,it comes up installing new version, that lil wheel going round and round, waited for a bit. It said next launch new Google Chrome, i clicked. Have no idea what is new, but checked Adobe hasn't changed.

Just putting my 2 cents in FWIW..... I'm still having probs with crashing (not often) .stalling when moving between farms (A LOT) and very VERY slow loading and trying to get everything done (Most of the time). Sorry don't have server infor or anything cuz I'm just biding my time til things get worked out, Not complaining, but thot I'd mention the probs cuz of the post asking for peeps wi probs :)... oh, I AM on Chrome..don't waste my time trying the other browsers (IE< FF< etc)

I have faith things will work out eventually :)

I found them by the back door so to speak! Click on the tool icon in the top right of Chrome. Go to settings and then in the search box type "pop-up" and it gives you a couple of items - click on content settings and scroll down to the pop-up section.
But my problem was caused by my anti virus and internet security software/

If you right click on the Farm Town game screen and look at the bottom of the box that appears it will tell you what version of Flash you are using.

I'm on Chrome and WF1...I'm not having any crashes anymore. In fact it's been weeks since I had a crash. My farms have been running pretty well. Thanks devs and mods for all the work you do. It can't be easy trying to keep so many people happy.

21 would make the grid unbalanced. I think Stone is correct in that if they add one more farm, it will ultimately be 20

If you look at the grid they go in 3s... so 3,6,9,12,15,18, 21..... oh yes if they add another farm to the grid so it would be 4s, then it would be 4,8,12,16,20,and 24.... remember the tables....

I am just a player but if you right click on your farm the bottom of the box will tell you the version of adobe you have. Google Chrome does not use the 11.4. I am having no problem since the latest FT update. Hope this helps.

Patience is the name of the game, they are waiting for everybody that is having crashes and looking into it, if you have not had any then its OK, but there a lot of others that are having problems... please lets fix one thing at the time.. keep making space or whatever for the new things so when they come in you don't need another farm.... now farm 16 would be good, but we haven't had any suggestion as to one coming soon...

I am having the same problem and since they changed me from WF4 to WF34 is when I started with all the problems.. I get that reload with the green and red a lot, what do I do? I hit the floppy disk just like we used to do at the beginning and it takes it away.. I have been getting plug-in failure since yesterday again... so have to report that...

When you go to the settings at the bottom is Advanced settings. Click on that and it expands what you can set.

I have been getting script not responding errors. It is for one of the files that used to be stored by flash. I will have to watch again to get the file. The strange thing is it messes up the FB chat on that page but not the farm.

Boy I tell you guys are something asking for 20 + farms to work, I spend almost all of time off work playing this game and I am finding increasingly hard to work the 15 farms I have. My neighbors are ****** because I don't work their facilities and I expect them work mine. (can't say I blame them) I just can't imagine what I would do with more farms. I already have to wear a brace on my right hand/wrist and have an upcoming appointment with a specialist to find out why my right arm feels like someone hooked it up to a tinge unit and cranked it up on high. I don't have a life outside of work and this game. More farms would probably push me over the edge. I know you say you don't have to buy them. Go ahead put a piece of chocolate in front of a chocoholic and see what happens. I admit it, My name is Doc and I am a Farmtownoholic. :) Bring it on and like Dr. Demnto we'll be calling the guys with the white jackets and hauling me off to the funny farm. :D:D:D

All I can say is bring 'em on! With all the convenient tools available no has to have help to maintain their farms! I work some facs along and don't really expect anyone to play mine unless they just want to. It is supposed to be fun and relaxing so do that no matter how many or little of farms you have! If any one gets mad playing it then they should change their attitude! It would take a secretary to keep track of who does what for us and it really doesn't matter to me! Now I will stop!
