Hi Farmers!

Welcome to our Official January Competition!! EN ESPAÑOL AQUI (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=619482)

This month's theme is "Mazes", so post here your fabulous farms and get the chance to win some Farm Cash.

We want to see what kind of maze(s) you can create using almost anything available in the store. You must NOT use any bought mazes from the store eg "Autumn Maze", you must create your own maze. Your maze(s) must be the main focus of your design and can be done in any season.


Prizes are as follows, divided into 2 Categories:

NOVICE

1st Prize - 120 Farm Cash
2nd Prize - 75 Farm Cash
3rd Prize - 50 Farm Cash

ADVANCED

1st Prize - 120 Farm Cash
2nd Prize - 75 Farm Cash
3rd Prize - 50 Farm Cash

Please, do not enter your farm without reading this ENTIRE post. Thanks!

The competition will begin on Friday, January 8th at midnight, and will close on Sunday, January 31st at midnight. The winners will be announced a few days later after the closing, depending on how many entries there are, as every entry has to be checked.

Contest Guidelines:


Use your great imagination to show us your designs for Maze(s)
You can use any items from the Store, Gifts or your Storage, but you CANT use any purchased Maze.
You can choose between a "picture farm" or a traditional farm.
You will be able to harvest any crops, trees etc. Crops must be in place at the close of the competition, and can be any crop, but they either must be growing or fully grown and not wasted. This also applies to trees and flowers. You can chop/harvest trees and flowers, but they will need to be at full growth, by the time the competition closes.


Contest Rules:


You have to be a member of the Forum.
Your farm can be any size.
Your entry needs to be a picture of your farm. Do not post a picture on behalf of someone else.
One farm entry per contestant. Do not start another forum account to enter another farm.
Do not edit your original post to include a different/changed farm or delete your original post and post again. You cant add/delete any items on your farms once you posted your photo into the contest. NOTICE: If new items are released AFTER you have entered you are not allowed to make additions to your entry, so please be sure you are done.
Your farm photo must be an exact replica of your farm. Do not hide ANYTHING to take your photo.
You cant redecorate the farm you have entered into the contest until the winners have been announced.
You have to provide the following information: A photo of the farm that you wish to enter. The link to the farm you are entering. The name that you have given that farm and the farm number

How do I post a picture for the Contest? (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=616834) Please remember, you must use the Small size while taking your photo as the Regular and Large sizes are too big for the forum. If you choose the wrong size, then we will delete your post and will send you a private message asking you to take a new photo using the right size. NOTICE: Your farm photo MUST be set to Public or we will not be able to help you if your entry needs fixing. To set the photo to Public, please open your Farm town album, and click in your photo. You will see the photo and on the right you will see your name and the date, besides the date you can see who are able to see that photo. Click there and set it to Public.
ALSO, remember to remove the check mark if you have set that farm as PRIVATE, so we can visit it.

Your avatar is invited to tea at flower's (my avatar's) new house in the quaint town of 'Amazing' called that for the maze type roads where you wind throught the town to get anywhere. Her favorite spot in this delightful town is the gazebo in the center and just above it is her Pink Victorian Home just steps away but to get to it you must walk the whole town. To get started click at her house on the lawn inside the white picked yard and your on you way to that tea at flower's.

Down in the Valley in a place called Farm Town lived a Woman named Silver, while up in the lookout tower she noticed a fire was threatening her beautiful valley, she always loved the farm Town Valley and took pride in keeping it clean and beautiful, always looking for ways to help the people in the Valley live easier, making her rounds each day to see if neighbours needed anything. Because of her caring ways people in the valley elected her as Mayor. We have to help Silver make it from the lookout tower to the lake where the pipeline was being built so she can get the last few pipes in place so they can put out the raging fire before it destroys the Valley. Before silver can get to the lake she has to make her rounds to warn all the valley people to be prepared for the worst and to get some of the men in the valley to help her with the pipeline. To help her with this task click on the white X beside the water tank and watch Silver take off to warn everyone as she makes her way thru the maze around the valley to the lake.

Yes, I know this is my Halloween Farm but it is where I created a maze for the kiddies. It is simple and they can delight in finding surprises in pockets and go looking further for more. My maze is not so elegant or using unlikely items to make a maze but truly it is heartfelt for those yesteryears when you could safely let the kiddies enjoy.
