FarmTown has now been added to Myspace.
I would like to welcome all of the new Myspace users to the forum. We hope you enjoy your time in the forum.
We would also ask that our Facebook users take a moment to remember that many of the new posts may be coming from Myspace users, who are all starting out from the begining of the game.
Let's all remember that the Myspace users are all where we were a few short months ago, with a brand new exciting game to figure out.
We encourge all new members Myspace or Facebook to read the information in the new users section of the forum. There you will find most every thing you need to know about the game and information about the forum.
Here is some information directly from the development team about the differences between Myspace users and Farmtow users.
1. Will we be able to tell if the member here on the forum is playing on Myspace or Facebook?
For now, they will be able to register and post but their account will not be linked to the farm on My Space, only Face Book.
2. Will people be able to add farmer neighbors from both applications?
They add neighbors the same way, by sending a friend request, then sending a neighbor request, but the neighbors they had in Face book will not apply to My Space. Since they are two different services, they must start from scratch with the farm and their neighbors/buddies.
3. The members will want to know if the game is still considered BETA given it has now been placed on another venue.
Yes it is still Beta.
4. Does the gift process work the same on Myspace as it does on Facebook.
MySpace works differently because when someone sends you a gift, it appears in your inbox on MySpace, where you accept it by opening the message, and then click next to go to the app (send gifts page).
