HI Guys and Gals,

Expert farmers and wanna-be-farmers, one and all....

Lets post some images here, of our farms. It saves from going into farms and we can make up one pattern/maze/design/themes and then post it here.

An image can live here forever.

I am using with help of sweet fiance, a website called photobucket to create a web location for the farm image. Once you do that, click on the picture icon in the reply section and paste the web location of your image.

Hmm , you should see in the top right of the forum page your name and under it private messages.. should say you have got 1.

I will post here, then everyone can see how to post images.

Firstly , make sure your screen is on ful screen and zoomed to where you can see your farm properly.
Then locate and press your print screen button , its next to the F12 button on keyboard.
Then open up paint and choose the edit tab and then paste option.
Then save your image , you can crop it a bit if you want to get rid of the green all round the pic etc.
Then save it as a jpeg image.
Then either use photobucket or tinypic to host your picture.
Then use the [IMG] tagged link in the links it gives you and post the resulting link here.

Job done.

For the Mac folks, Command-Shift-3 will snap a screenshot and save it to your desktop. (Or you can use Command-Shift-4, which gives you a crosshair cursor you can use to crop the shot before you snap it.)

HI, I have started a Tic Tac Toe or Naughts and Crosses game...if you win you take the harvest!

Initialy you need to make the grid, by putting crops. Make the line from a three day/distinct colour crop. and rest may be a simple one day crop. When the one day crops are ready, thats when you have the arena set.

Here's my current farm. I sacrificed my experience points to do this and might alter it and do it again. Was easier than I thought. This will be up at least until the potatoes are white. Then it's harvest time.

My wife and I are both on Level 26, so to maintain the interest we set some goals; to reach Level 30 or further and to make 1 million coin. Maybe while we try to achieve these goals, the developers will come up with something new for us, maybe a house, who knows.

I would like to nominate one of my buddies farms to show off.

I was just called upon to come and work for a buddy of mine, so very happily went along and i loved the farm, it was really well presented and planted too.

Well , i loved it , others may not , but i do think its worthy of a picture here.
I started to harvest , and then thought oh bugger i better take a screen shot first.
The feilds are neat , and the trees are in bloom , its so lovely. And it was a pleasurable harvest too. Mind you i did get the saving data error before i could finish the half i was doing so couldnt finish it as she had popped off to collect someone to bring home.
The bit i had harvested was potatoe too , so as you can see it is neat and tidy and pleasant to look at. Ok itmight not have any fancy images in it or the like , but hey there has been no aliens spotted overhead today , so no crop circles this time round..;)

This hopefully is an improvement on 22x22 now. Changed the theme, also. But the concept is the same. Just finished the layout and planting here but really excited on how it will look when crops grow until harvest.

Well, here is the big spiral this morning (now that it is starting to grow in with the new planting) before I harvested my fruit trees. Over the next two days, the spiral is going to change appearance as the crops ripen, so there will be some color shifts as things mature. I think I'm pleased.

I finally got my 24x24 upgrade and added the rest of the sheep from my gift box. As a visitor to my farm pointed out, it's sheepapalooza. When I first started out, I was spending as soon as I had coins but then I started saving. I started doing strawberries and potatoes only, for quick turnover. Before I knew it I had plenty of coins for the higher crops like corn, sunflowers, etc... I still try to do a mixture of 1 day crops and 2/3 day crops so I have income every day.

There are some of us are are analytical designers (yes, I fall into that category). There are others that design by chance (had one see my spiral, thought it was great and hers wasn't, and to me hers was one of the most beautiful patchwork patterns I'd ever seen). Design, if you are trying for it, isn't about some set of standards you may or may not hold. It's about the joy you experienced in creating it, and in sharing it with others.

There are a lot of designs folks do I can't even dream of doing, because I don't think that way. You think YOUR way, and we have a lot to learn from the farm you have created and the layouts you will create. Don't sell your patterns short.

I agree totally. Some people thoroughly enjoy doing these type of things and they are very good at it. They go to alot of trouble to produce these things so that we may enjoy them as well. I have made other images in the past and it was only until I found out about this thread! The images posted in this thread are amazing. I couldn't agree more that to make this game more interesting we need to give Farm Town some life, otherwise the more you advance in the game the more boring it gets.

You can use photobucket or imageshack.com both are free. Do you have an editing program like paint or photoshop on your computer? If so do the print screen and open up your program....make a new thing and hit control + V to paste it.

I'm so bad at giving instructions so I hope this is somewhat understandable...lol

If you are using MS Windows...

1. After pressing "Prt Scr" key, Open the program Paint (in Windows XP, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories) and under its menu, click Edit, then Paste. Save as a file under JPEG format.

2. Then go here, click Community in the menu above, then click Pictures & Albums. Create your album there and upload your picture that you saved under Paint.

3. When you create a message here, click the Insert Image Icon and copy/paste there the URL link assigned to your uploaded picture.

Got it?

It's really cool here how we all start off with the same things (except when you buy coins which I don't do but otherwise) and then see what everyone makes of it. I like how in this one green square people do such different things. :) Its fun to "tour" the farms.

Hi Frank, thank you so much, I had done a screen print a while back, but I had completely forgotten, as I don't do it hardly at all, but you saying that reminded me. So here it is a pic of my farm, but I have just harvested today, so its a bit bare, will do it again when fully grown.
