What are Coins for?

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...sics/coins.PNG

With coins you can do your shopping in Farm Town (purchasing items such as seeds, trees, decorations) and also use them to pay employees who plow your fields.

Employees who harvest your fields are paid by the mayor with crops and coins. Their reward for working does not cost you any coins.

Tiger May 25 2019 04:46 AM

How do I earn coins?

You can earn coins by...

  • Selling your crops
  • Selling harvested or chopped tree products
  • Selling flowers
  • Visiting neighbours farms once a day, and doing the daily task (tending)
  • Selling fish you have caught in your own waters
  • Working for other farmers, harvesting crops/trees/flowers, chopping trees, plowing, fishing
  • Selling gifts you receive from friends
  • Instead of selling, you can use your produce to make products in facilities and then sell them for a bigger profit.
  • You can work friends facilities and sell any products that you don't have a use for
  • You can earn by doing daily quests
  • Sending ships on that arrive in your port.

When your crops are ready, make sure you hire someone to collect them, you'll earn more by hiring someone else to harvest for you.

When you can, hire someone else to plow your fields: instead of costing you 20 coins a field, it will only cost you 15 coins to hire someone else. Also, if you hire a neighbour it will only cost you 10 coins!

The first time, reinvest all your money in seeds. Depending on what you're able to do, plant raspberries grapes or potatoes for a quick turnover of profit.

Always remember, seed your fields before shopping in the store. This will prevent you from spending money in the store and not being able to plant all of your fields. By planting fields you make a regular income!

How do I visit other peoples' farms?

How do I visit other peoples' farms?

You can visit any neighbour, in the neighbours bar at the bottom of the game screen.

In this example we clicking on DUDZ in the Neighbours bar to show the Neighbour menu.
To visit DUDZ scroll down and then click on Visit DUDZ's Farm, when it turns orange, click on it and you will be taken to their farm. and then scrolling down to visit them:

At the very top of the Menu shows DUDZ is this farmers Neighbour.

In various areas of the game you will be able see that relationship to know if a farm is a Neighbour (blue Background) or a Buddy (Green Background. When there is nothing at the top of the menu, they are not your Neighbour or your Buddy.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...B MAR 2024.png

All Farmers Avatars that you can see in the game also has the option to visit that farmers farm. In this case you click on their avatar to show the avatar menu and you will see the visit option listed there as well.

If you have many neighbours, there are green and blue arrows at the left side of the neighbours bar that you can click on to scroll though them.
You can also left click your mouse on any neighbour and drag that bar to the left or right if you don't need to move it that far.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...S MAR 2022.png

If the chat window has appeared where the neighbour bar should be, click the Hide button to the left of the Chat window to close it.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...T MAR 2022.png
You can also visit the farms of anyone you see in the game when you are online, by clicking on their avatar and choosing Visit xxx's farm from the menu.

To return back to your own farm: You can do any of the following.

Click on your avatar and then click on Go To Your Farm. This will take you back to your default farm.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...S MAR 2022.png
Click on the house icon bottom right of your game screen.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...N MAR 2022.png

When you have more than one farm and you click on the house icon you will have more options.
Each numbered box under SHOW NAMES represents one of your farms, clicking on one of those boxes will take you to that farm.
This example shows 44 farms with Farm 11 highlighted in yellow.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...S MAR 2022.png

SHOW NAMES when clicked on will open a large window titled Go to Farm.
In that window there are boxes representing each of your own farms along with the name of each farm.
Clicking on the name of a farm will take you to that farm.

DEFAULT when clicked on will take you back to your default farm.

LAST when clicked on will take you back to the last one of your farms you were on. This is also indicted by the yellow in the one of the boxes representing each of your farms.

How can I change the name of my farm?

You can only change your own farms name, you can not change anyone else's farm name.

To change your farms name:

  1. You need to be on your own farms.

  2. If you are anywhere else you need to return home and then go to the farm where you want to change the name, if you have more than one farm.

  3. Click on the name of the farm at the top of your game screen and a small window with options will appear.

    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...e DEC 2023.png

  4. Click in the box with your current farm name in it. In the example the farm name is Hetty's Farm. Use your computer/laptop keyboard to delete that name then type your new name for the farm.

  5. Then click on the green check to save the change, or the red cross to cancel.

The Select Animal Behaviour in this Farm can be clicked on and changed to a different setting.
  1. Loose Animals on a farm that are not in buildings can be a drain on computer recourses and make a farm difficult to load. Moving animals can also cause the same loading issues.

  2. To change the setting click on it and you will see these options:

    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...L NOV 2023.png

  3. Then click on the option you want to use (choose Always Freeze Animals if the animals moving is causing you a problem loading the farm)

  4. Then click on the green check to save the change, or the red cross to cancel.
.

The Disable Super-Neighbour Farming and Other farmers cannot water flowers options along with more options you will get as you progress in the game and get more farms are explained in the next post down.

Information about Super Neighbours and what they can do for you are explained in the Super Neighbour Chapter Chapter 06 - Super Neighbours?

Tiger May 25 2019 05:23 AM

Can i make a farm Private?

Yes. You can make a farm Private when you have at least 2 farms.

There are pros and cons for making a farm a Private farm so please make sure you read all of the information below.

If you wanted to prevent anyone going to a farm for any reason, perhaps you are decorating it and want to wait until it's finished before you let others see it, it is possible to make it a Private farm.
  • You can make all but one farm Private.

  • You will not be able to hire anyone to work a private farm.

  • Super Neighbours will not be able to work or use any of the mobile sprinklers on a Private farm.

  • Friends that do NOT have the trains that help with facility work will not be able to go to a Private farm to work them.

  • Friends that do have the trains to help with facility work can ONLY work the facilities on the private farm IF if you have enough farms with work on them so that when the mayor takes over doing the rest of the farms (the last 40 to 60%) the mayor will do those facilities for them.

  • Those with the 2 dispatched trains that allows them to work all facilities from the farm they arrive on, will also be working facilities on Private farms even though they can not visit them.

Remember - You can NOT make all of your farms Private.

How to make a Farm Private:
  1. Go to the farm you want to make Private.
  2. Click on the name of the farm at the top of your game screen and a window will open.
  3. Place a check mark in the box for "Make this a private farm".
  4. Then click the green check mark to save.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...m DEC 2023.png

Note about Facility work and Private Farms - You will not be able to post facility work from facilities that are located on a Private farm. You would have to use other facilities on farms that are not Private. When you try you will see a message like this:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...1 MAR 2023.png

The other options in that window are as follows:

Make this My Default Farm - adding a check mark here means anyone visiting you would be taken to that farm, for example via clicking on your avatar at market or visiting you through the neighbour bar option, unless you also made that farm Private as well, in which case they will be redirected to another farm that is not private.

Make this a Quest farm - As of March 2023, you no longer have to own the Animal Harvesting tools to set a farm as a Quest farm.
For those that like to keep a farm with some of the crops/tree/flowers etc that are often needed for Regular Quests this prevents those items from showing up in Farm Stats when you also remove the check mark at the bottom of the Farm Stats for "Include products due to Fertilization, belts and bonuses"

When you ALSO own the the Harvest All tools, (Animal Harvesters) the Quest farm setting ALSO prevents the animal sheds from being harvested on those farms using the Harvest All at the top of the Facility Manager. This can be useful for Quest Purposes. When you set a farm as a Quest farm you will need to harvest the animal sheds on those farms one at a time, either from the sheds on the farm or via your Facility Manager.

This setting will also prevent anyone that is visiting your farms from using the mobile sprinklers to water the flowers on that farm.

Super Neighbours will not be able to irrigate anything on that farm.

However it does NOT prevent anyone from using the watering can to water the flowers.

Disable Super-Neighbour Farming - This will prevent your Super Neighbours from doing any farming work on this farm. You may want to do this for a farm you are designing or have designed or a quest farm where you do not want anything worked on.
If this is the ONLY permission set at farm level. Super Neighbours will NOT be able work that farm BUT they can still water flowers with the mobile sprinkler. They can still irrigate and fertilise anything on that farm.

Remember:
  1. The Quest farm setting will prevent Super Neighbours using any of the mobile sprinklers to irrigate or water flowers on a Quest Farm.
  2. The Private setting also prevents this and prevents anyone from visiting that farm.
  3. When the farm is not Private anyone can use the watering can to water flowers on a Quest farm
.

Other farmers cannot water flowers - when enabled, farmers will only be able to water the flowers on that farm if they are hired to harvest flowers. This can be useful to "reserve" some flowers for yourself when completing Farm Pass goals related to watering your flowers.
  • Super Neighbours
  • WILL be able to harvest, water and irrigate flowers when they have the permission to harvest flowers for you.

  • If they do NOT have the permission to harvest flowers, they NOT be able to harvest/water/irrigate flowers BUT WILLL still be able to Irrigate all other growing items on that farm IF you also own the mobile sprinklers that allow irrigating of crops and trees.

  • If you set the farm as a Quest Farm AND enable the permission that prevents other farmers from watering flowers. The Quest Farm setting overrides the other permission. Your Super Neighbours can only harvest the flowers, they will not be able to water or Irrigate flowers/crops/trees with the mobile sprinklers. They can water flowers using the watering can only.

Animal Behaviors - If you would like to change the animal behavior on a specific farm, click on the little drop down arrow next to Select Animal behavior in this farm and you will see the options.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...L APR 2022.png
Freezing animals prevents them moving around freely on your farm which can be useful if you want them to stay in the same spot when you may be designing so that they don't move around an could get in your way or you may want them to stay within fences you may have placed on the farm. To Freeze the Animals set the option like this:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...L APR 2022.png

Remember that when you change any of these farm level permissions you need to click on the green check mark to save the changes!

What does the message regarding the "Lottery" mean?

What does the Lottery message mean?

When you first connect to the game for that day a message will appear stating that you won the lottery and have been awarded a varying amount of coins.

This will happen the first time you go to your farm each new day.

This is just a little bonus for regular players.

Example of the message. You will see a similar message and your coin amount can be different:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...0 MAR 2024.png

If you click the green check mark you will take a photo of your farm which you can post to Facebook and the coins will be added to your total.

If you do not want to take a photo of your farm, click the red check mark and the coins will be added without taking a photo.

How do I move around my farm?

How do I move around my farm?

To move your avatar, you can just click your mouse anywhere on your farm to move from one place to another place. Your avatar will move to where you clicked. When you get to the stage where you have a considerable amount on your farm, your avatar can jump to the spot you clicked on instead of walking to it.

To move the whole farm in any direction, click on the left button on your mouse and hold it down, then drag your mouse to move the farm in any direction. When you release the the left button, you stop moving the whole farm around.

I bought a Second farm. How do I get back to the First one?
When you buy your 2nd farm you will have been asked to reload the game so your new farm can be added. Look towards the top left of your game screen and you will see there are now two small boxes with numbers in the boxes instead of just one box with the number 1 in it.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...OW 2 FARMS.png

The farm you arrived on when you reloaded the game is Farm 2 the one with the yellow background colour. This yellow background on any farm number indicates the farm that you are currently on.

To go to Farm one just click on the box with the number 1 in it and you will be taken to Farm 1.

To go back to Farm 2 click on the box with the number 2 in it.

When you have bought 4 farms or more you will be able to see those boxes at the top now have a title SHOW NAMES
Same as before, each of those boxes represents one of your farms.
This example shows 10 farms:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ames small.PNG

The top row left to right are farms 1 to 4, the second row underneath are farms 5 to 8 and so on.

If you mouseover that grid it will expand so you can see it much bigger. Hover over one of the rectangles and it will tell you name and size of that farm.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...xpanded 10.PNG

Clicking on SHOW NAMES will open a new window showing you all your farms. If you click on the name of a farm it will take you to that farm. You can find out what else this window can show in
Chapter 16 How do I navigate from farm to farm?

How do I Plant seeds in my farm?

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...low single.PNG

First of all you need to plow fields. To do this use the tool as shown above. If crops have wasted you also use this tool to plow the wasted fields.

Once you have done this you need to plant seeds.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...e tool bar.PNG Click on the Store icon and then click on the "Seeds" tab. Any seed that is showing unlocked is one you can plant. Hover your mouse over the box containing the seed you want and "Buy" will appear. Click on "Buy" then click on a plowed field to plant the seed.

This is an example of what you could see:

Top left of that window will show you how many coins you have available to spend. Don't spend them all as you will need coins to plow the fields again, plowing always cost coins.

If you have a purchased a seeder ( 1x2 , 2x2 or 3x3 ) you can plant more than one field at a time, however these tools use Fuel. How to get Fuel is explained in Chapter 20 Fuel. Click on the Seeder to pick it up and the Seed section of the store will open. Then click Buy on the seed you want to plant and then click on the plowed fields.

As you plant each field, coins will be deducted from your coin total.

You can find out more about Crops and how to sort the seed list in Chapter 26 Seeds.

Tiger May 25 2019 06:06 AM

How do I Harvest fields, trees and flowers?

The single harvesting tool can be clicked on to use and to harvest crops, trees and flowers.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...RVEST TOOL.png

Click on the tool to pick it up, then click on the item you want to harvest to harvest it.

Your Harvests will then be sent to your Harvests & Products section of Storage You can find out all about the different sections of Storage in Chapter 14 - Storage

To stop using the tool, click on the green man and the tool will be dropped. When you have finished harvesting and click the Walk icon (Green Man) to stop using the tool everything will come back into view.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../GREEN MAN.png

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...REFERENCES.png This is the Preferences icon. It is located top right of your game screen. There are many items listed in it for when you want to show or hide anything by type on your farms.
If you can not see the crops trees or flowers that are on your farm, check your Preferences and make sure that on your farm, click on the Preferences icon and make sure that those items have check marks in the boxes.

If you make any changes to your Preferences, make sure that you click on the green check mark at the bottom of the Preferences window to save those changes.

Tiger May 25 2019 06:26 AM

How do I Plow New Fields?

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...low single.PNG This is the single plow tool it allows you to plow a single field at a time and also to plow any wasted crops.
To plow new fields, you must have enough clear space on your farm for the new field and you must have coins.

Each plowed field will cost you 20 coins and earn you 1 XP (experience points are what you need to increase your game level and earn some free Farm Cash),

When you click on the Plow tool it picks it up. As you and move it over your farm the background of the plow field will be green if there is space for you to plow a new field. If the background is red, there is not enough space.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../GREEN MAN.png To stop using the Plow tool click on the green man.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...REFERENCES.png If you want your plots to be right up against each other instead of having space between each one, you must first make sure that Remove Spaces Between Fields is checked in the preferences menu.
Click on the Preferences icon and add the check mark to Remove Spaces Between Fields then click on the green check mark to save that change.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...OVE SPACES.png

Existing Fields which are already plowed or harvested must be deleted first.

Then you will be able to plow new fields so that they are closer together without those spaces.

This picture shows the difference between plowing without spaces and with spaces. As you can see if you plow without spaces you can fit more fields into roughly the same area.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...out spaces.PNG

Tiger May 25 2019 06:39 AM

What is the Tool box?

The Tool box is where you can find all your tools, (for the larger tools you will see them if you have bought them and placed them into item storage. Note: Farm Cash items do NOT use up your Item storage space, you can store as many Farm Cash items as you want). You will also find your facility manager, quest managers, ship manager, minigames and many more items that can help you with the game. When you first start playing the game you will not have many items in the tool box. As you start playing and levelling up you will gradually get access to more items and then again when you start buying the bigger tools and place them into item storage.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...3 SEP 2022.png When there is a number on the Tool box, that means that there are ether:
  • Trains for you to boost from your friends in your Train Manager,
  • Ships to load from your friends in your Seaport Manager
  • You have Neighbour or Buddy Requests in your Farmers Lists
  • or a combination of all of those.

The counter updates approximately every 10 minutes as you work your farms.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...x SEP 2022.png To open your Tool box, click on the tool box icon.
You will then see something similar to this, but it will show you your tools. Anything that is greyed out is something you do not have access to yet due to game level or it is a tool you do not own or it is a tool you have not placed it into item storage.

It is always a good idea to place any tools you own into item storage, that way you can access your tools from the toolbox from any farm without having to move the tools to each farm. It also helps when you need to upgrade a tool as the game will be able to see what you already own. To use a tool just click on it to pick it up. Click the green man to stop using it.

To close the tool box click on the big white x just beneath the bottom right of the window.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...nd toolbox.PNG The Yellow Edit hand, lets you click on any item on the farm, except fields, and move it to a new position on the farm as long as there is room for it to move to the new position. Click on the hand to use it, then click on the item you want to move, move it then click again to set it down. Click the green man to stop using the tool.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../hide tool.png The Hide Item tool lets you temporarily hide items on the farm one by one. Click on the tool to use it then click on the item you want to hide. Click the green man to stop using the tool. To bring the hidden items back into view refresh your farm.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ch toolbox.PNG The Search tool lets you search for any specific item on the farm that is showing on your farm. Click on it and enter the name of the item you are looking for, then choose whether you want to highlight the item or hide non-matching items, then click the green check mark. If you have chosen to hide non-matching items, only the items relevant to your search criteria will be shown, and everything else will be hidden. You will then see bottom right “Show Items” which you can click to bring all items back into view.

What is the Games Activity Panel?

What is the Games Activity Panel?

It is a list of information of which friends have helped you recently.

It is located beneath your game screen and shows some of your friends actions where they interact with you in the game. It can only show around 130 items at a time and will refresh when you reload the game.
This is an example of what you could see:

If there are a lot of items you can use the scroll bar to the right to scroll the list.

You can change what type of Actions it shows at the bottom of the panel by adding or removing the check marks for each of the options:
  • Farming:
    • xxxx is now your neighbour (means you accepted their neighbour request),
    • worked at your farm (harvested, plowed, chopped, fished or planted etc)
    • added you as a SN (Super Neighbour)
    • watered your flowers or watered ALL your flowers (includes irrigating farms for you when done as a Super Neighbour and YOU own the relevant mobile sprinkler to Irrigate)

    Trains:
    • accelerated your train
    • managed your trains - unloading/dispatching (requires the Super Neighbour Train Management permission)

    Ships:
    • loaded your ship at their port

    Facilities:
    • worked in your facilities (regular/production facilities)
    • referred clients to you (service facilities)

    Products:
    • sent you ingredients
    • helped you claim a bonus
    • helped you in your quests (co-operative quest help notes)
    • traded products with you (online or via the Trading Warehouse)
    • exported products to you (Facility Chains feature)

You can also change the way the information is sorted. The Sort By options are as follows:
Date - most recent activity

Name - alphabetically

Action - each catergory of actions are grouped together

What is the Marketplace for?

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...rketplace1.PNG

The Marketplace is where you go to meet other farmers.
You can look for work there, hire farmers to work your farms, buy, sell, trade, meet other farmers.

To get to the Marketplace you just click on the Map icon and click on the marketplace you want to go to. There are 2 Marketplaces, one is the Job Marketplace (Work and Hire), the other Trade Marketplace (Sell and Trade).

To move around the Marketplace you just click your mouse where you want to go and your avatar will go there.

You can also sell your harvests/products at the Job Marketplace. There is a Trade Marketplace which is better for selling, you are less likely to be hired there when you are busy trying to sell. For detailed information on how to sell your harvests/products or gifts see Chapter 14 - Selling from storage or gift box.

For details on how to buy/sell basic products to another farmer see Buying and selling between farmers.

There is no limit on how much you can sell to another farmer, but there is a limit on how much you can buy from another farmer. For details see What is my Buying limit?

For details on how to hire someone to work your farms see Chapter 09 - Hiring.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...nline mode.jpg This plug icon top right of your game screen will be green when you are in online mode. It will be red when you are offline. Clicking on that icon lets you change it between online and offline mode.
If you are online at the Marketplace but there is no-one at the market, check that your plug is still green, If it is not click on the red plug to change it to green and then refresh the market by clicking on the MAP and then the Marketplace again or reload your game and try again.

If you are still not seeing anyone at market, your game language may need changing to one that is more popular to use like English (US). If you are not sure how to change your in game language, please click on this link and scroll down the bottom of the post to Languages for information:
https://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showth...78#post6303478

Q. What are the coloured backgrounds on avatar names at market?
A. These indicate what the farmer is intending to do at market, which can be helpful when you want to know who is looking for work or who is there to hire for example.

To do this you must be at one of the Marketplaces.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...arketplace.PNG At the Job Marketplace you have the following buttons showing to the right of the market place.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...cs/ASJOB S.PNG Select this if you are at market to sell products. The button and your name background will turn brown. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...cs/ASJOB H.PNG Select this if you want to Hire someone to work your farms. The button and your name background will change to pink. If you ONLY have this option selected you will not be sent hire requests. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...cs/ASJOB W.PNG Select this if you are at market to work for other farmers. The button and your name background will turn red. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...cs/ASJOB M.PNG Select this if you are at market to meet other farmers. The button and your name background will turn light blue. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ASJOB DOTS.PNG This allows you to temporarily change your nameplate. You can leave it as it is or delete what is in there to add a short message e.g what kind of job you are looking for or what product you want to buy. Just click in the box to delete what is there or add your message. Click the green check mark to save or the red X to cancel.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...us message.PNG
Note: When you start hiring someone, the H button is set to PINK automatically. After you have finished hiring, it resets back to the color it had before you started the hiring.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...arketplace.PNG At the Trade Marketplace you have the following buttons showing to the right of the marketplace:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../ASTRADE S.PNG Select this if you are at market to sell products. The button and your name background will turn brown. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ASTRADE BF.PNG Select this if you want to buy products from other farmers. The button and your name background will change to light green. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ASTRADE SF.PNG Select this if you are at market to sell products to other farmers. The button and your name background will turn dark green. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...sics/AS TO.PNG This button will turn Beige when you are at the Trade Marketplace AND have trade offers in your Trading Warehouse that are not sold or expired. It will also show a number in red to show how many there are. Clicking the button will open your Warehouse to the Trade section and allow you to add or modify your offers. When you have offers available to buy your name background will automatically turn beige in colour.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../ASTRADE M.PNG Select this if you are at market to meet other farmers. The button and your name background will turn light blue. To deselect it click the button again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...TRADE DOTS.PNG This allows you to temporarily change your nameplate.

Note: when you sell to a farmer, the SF button is set to DARK GREEN automatically. After you close the selling screen, it resets back to the color it had before you started selling

You can indicate more than one intention at the same time

For example, you may want to hire others but you may also want to be available for others to hire you, so if you enable the H (Hire, pink color) and W (Work, red color) buttons, your avatar name will be colored in pink and red at the same time.

The only case where hire requests sent to you will get blocked is when the H button is selected and the W button is clear. If both, the H and W buttons are selected, you will be able to receive Hire requests as usual.

When you are selling products to the Mayor/Tom, the S button will activate automatically so others know that you are currently selling products.

The status change is only saved for that session, you may change it as often as you wish but you must be at one of the marketplaces to do it.

When you reload the game your status will change back to white with your Avatar name.

When you send a hire request to a farmer, their background colour will change to Orange. If they do not respond it will then turn to Yellow. This will help you know who you have already sent a request to so you don't send to the same person again.

There are several options when you click on your avatar when you are not on your own farm. You will see this:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...E MAR 2024.png

Hover over each option and it will turn orange.

Clicking on one of the options does the following:
  • Go To Your Farm will take you back to your default farm.

  • Change Appearance will open the Avatar editor where you can change how your avatar will look.

  • Change Status Message will open a message directing you to the buttons to the right of the marketplace where you can change your status. You must be at one of the Marketplaces to change your avatar status.

  • Show Trading Warehouse you will have access to when you reach Level 20. It will open your Trading Warehouse where you can make sales for selling Super Facility products. Both of those features are explained in later chapters of the Game Guide.

To go back to your own farms click on the House Icon.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../Home icon.PNG Click on the house icon bottom right of your game screen.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...Show Names.PNG When you have more than one farm and you click on the house icon you will have more options. Each numbered box under SHOW NAMES represents one of your farms, clicking on one of those boxes will take you to that farm. This example shows 40 farms with Farm 11 highlighted in yellow.

SHOW NAMES when clicked on will open a large window titled "Go to Farm". Clicking on the name of a farm will take you to that farm.

DEFAULT when clicked on will take you back to your default farm.

LAST when clicked on will take you back to the last one of your farms you were on. This is also indicted by the yellow in the one of the boxes representing each of your farms.

Where is the Chat Window and what is it for?

The Chat Window is located behind your Neighbours Bar where the picture of your friends and their avatars are. This is what it looks like when it is closed. Profile pictures have been blurred for privacy.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...r bar blur.png

Over to the left you can see CHAT. Click on it to open the Chat Window.
Chat will then change to HIDE, click on HIDE to close it and view your neighbours again.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...nline mode.jpg This plug icon top right of your game screen will be green when you are in online mode.

When you are online and in an area where there is another farmer also online, the Chat window will automatically open and you will be able to see what other farmers are saying.

There is a scroll bar to the right you can use to see earlier messages if the chat is moving fast and one you wanted to see again goes out of view.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...E MAR 2024.png

For many years a limitation of flash prevented being able to type in the chat window while in Full Screen mode. This is now possible since the migration away from flash.

To talk to the farmers present just click in the white box at the bottom of the window and start typing. When you have finished typing you can either click the Enter key on your keyboard or click on the SEND button to the right of where you typed your message.

If the window does not automatically open when another farmer is present you can open it yourself by clicking on CHAT. In this case when you click on CHAT you do not have to click in the white box at the bottom of the window, you can just start typing.

The messages you see you can click on to open that person's avatar menu, which you can use to do things like hire them, send a private message, visit their farm. This will only work if the farmer is still present, if they have left you will see a brief message in white telling you so.

To Mute in This Session you can either click on what they are saying in the chat box OR click on their avatar to get the avatar menu. When you click on that option you will then see a popup message asking you to confirm, check that the correct avatar name is in the popup and then click the green check mark to save or the red X to cancel. Examples:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../MUTE PAUL.png https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...UL CONFIRM.png

When you use this option the user is muted for the current session. You start a new session when you reload the game.

For more ways to Block a Farmer for more than a session, and how to and when to use the red icons on the left side of the chat window, please click on this link to to Chapter 07 - Blocking In Farm Town

How to use the Search Tools

There are several ways to search for something in Farm Town.

When searching we recommend that you avoid using a common name that would get you too many hits. For example when searching for something that exists on your farm, using the word grape , if you had both crops and trees showing, will show you anything using grape in the name so if you had all of these on your farm all of them would show up:
  • purple grapes
  • green grapes
  • grape tomatoes
  • grapefruit tree

When searching in your Harvests&Products storage looking for something like meat lasagna if you were to just search for meat you would likely get a considerable amount of hits as meat is used in the name of many products, whether you got them by making the products yourself or by working a friends facilities. So in this case meat l would work well as would the full name meat lasagna so in some cases you don't have to type in the full name of what you are searching for.

The same goes for searching for something in Item storage depending on what you are looking for. Searching for Tree will not only bring up every tree you have in storage that could used to chop or harvest in Farm Town, but every decorative tree, tree shaker tool, or building where tree is in the name of the item.

Searching for something that exists on your farm.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...TINGS ICON.PNG To see what is on your farm, you need to have a check mark added to Show whatever item you are searching for in your game preferences (also commonly referred to as game settings). So for crops you would need a check mark added for Show crops, for Trees you would need a check mark added for Show Trees, for Facilities you would need a check mark added for the type of facility you want to see (Regular Facilities which includes the Non-Workable Facilities, Service Facilities) and so on.

If you're not sure what category your item is in just show everything possible by clicking on the All button in the top section, then click the green check mark at the bottom to save the changes.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...F SHOW ALL.png

Then you can use the Search Tool in your toolbox.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...L SEP 2020.PNG Click on your toolbox to open it

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...X SEP 2020.PNG Then click on the Search tool.

A search box will open.
You can just search for one item if you want, but for this example we are going to search for 3 items at once, which can be useful when you're wanting to just harvest specific things for quests.

Type in the name of the item you are looking for. In this case, we're wanting to find rosemary, wheat and olive trees so in the search box we type each item separated with a comma like this rosemary, wheat, olive

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...SEARCH RWO.PNG

Then choose whether you want to
  • Highlight matching items - those items would be highlighted in yellow and nothing else would be hidden
  • Hide non-matching items - it will only show the items matching your search criteria and temporarily hide everything else.

For this example we only want to see those specific items so we chose the hide option.

Then click the green check mark.

The game then hides everything else that doesn't match your search criteria

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...WO SHOWING.PNG

As you can see the rosemary, wheat and the olive trees are showing. The buckwheat also shows as wheat is part of the name.

When you are done you can click on the Show Items button located bottom right of your game screen to bring all the other items back into view.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...S SEP 2020.PNG

You have access to this tool, when on your own farms and on any farm that you visit.

Searching the Store, your Storage or the Facility Manager.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...L SEP 2020.PNG In the Store there is a search box top right of the window that you can type in the name of the item or items you are looking for. It Looks like this:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...E SEP 2020.PNG

With this one as you type in the box, the items that fit your search criteria come into view. If there are more items fitting your search than can fit in the window you have to use the scroll bar to view more of them.

You can search for several specific items at once by typing in more than one item, or you could use a commonly used word like barn to bring all barns into view, grape will show you anything with grape in the name, seeder would show you all the seeder tools but with that one you will have to scroll the list to see them all as there are quite a few.... and so on.

For example, should you want to buy a wool shed for your farm and also the animals to go into it you could type in llama, sheep, wool. Remember each item has to be seperated with a comma.

Then you will see something like this. Remember decorative animals do NOT give you products. Any animal that shows in the store that has a question mark, you can click on the question mark to see what it produces. If it doesn't have a question mark then it is only for decoration.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg... WOOL SHED.PNG

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...L SEP 2020.PNG

The search tool in your storage looks very similar to the one in your toolbox. It's located top right of the storage windows and the Facility Manager. It looks like this:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...W SEP 2020.PNG

When you click on that icon you get a search box to type in the name of what you are searching for.

Again you can search for a specific item or several items at once.
Remember common words will likely get you many hits depending on what you have in storage so if you are wanting to find a specific item you will need to type in more of the name of the item.

As there are a considerable amount of items with commonly used words in the description, you may find it easier to filter storage to specific categories rather than viewing all of them at once.

To filter your storage to specific categories there is an AZ icon you can click on. Click on the AZ and then click on the category you want to view.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...W SEP 2020.PNG

You can also use this tool while selling your harvests and products, gifts or items at market.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...X SEP 2020.PNG The Facility Manager, which you can use when you have at least 2 different facilities on your farm, is also located in your toolbox, the same search icon is also top right of the window which allows you to search for a specific facility that you have on your farms according to the filters you set the Facility Manager to show. To open the Facility Manger click on the Facility Manger Icon in your toolbox.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...W SEP 2020.PNG

When you click on the icon you get a search box to type into. As you type, the facilities that meet your search criteria will come into view. If there are a more than one that meet the criteria you will need to click on the arrows next to the search box to see more of them. This is an example of what to type when searching for all your mills:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...EARCH MILL.PNG

Clicking the arrows will show you facilities like metal mill, sawmill, textile and spinning mill, red windmill, stone windmill, watermill as mill is part of those facilities names. If you own a lot of facilities you may be better off searching for the full mane of the facility, so if you only wanted to see the watermill, you type watermill

The Facility Manger can NOT show you if you have more than one of the same facility on the same farm. It will only show you one of them as only one will produce products or stock goods.

There are more details on how to filter the Facility Manager in different ways that you can use to help you search for specific facilities on specific farms in the post about the Facility Manager.

What is the Eye for?

What is the Eye for?

When you reach level 10 and you pick up a tool to work the items on your farms like the harvest tool for harvesting crops for example, if you look in the bottom right corner of the game screen you will see an Eye. This gives you the option to hide non-relevant items for the tool you are using.

Note: The more realistic eyes are now updated to the red and black versions we had previously:

Click on the Eye to change the setting.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...D OCT 2020.PNG When the Eye is BLACK you still see everything on your farms.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...N OCT 2020.PNG When the eye is RED, you will only see the items the harvest tool can harvest, like fields, trees and flowers. Clicking on an item with the harvest tool will harvest the item then make it temporarily disappear from view, which can be easier for you when you have more items on the farm.

As you progress through the game, use other tools and get more tools you will find the Eye will also show up when using some of those.

When using Full Screen mode:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...W OCT 2020.PNG
The Full Screen icon ,indicated in the picture with an arrow, allows you to view the farm much bigger so that it fills the whole screen on your computer.

Click on the icon to go Full Screen, click on it again to return to normal screen.

You must always return to normal screen when you want to chat to someone or to reply or send messages in Farm Town as the keyboard can not be used in Full Screen mode.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The features listed below have not been added back to the current version of the game yet:

When you are using a tool in Full Screen mode you will see another eye with a brown background and some other icons appear:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...K OCT 2020.PNG When it is a black eye with a brown background, you will still see the game panel at the bottom of the game screen and and things like your farms name, game level etc at the top of the game screen.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...D OCT 2020.PNG If you wanted to hide the game panel and other information to give yourself more screen space to work, you just click on the eye to change it to the red eye with a brown background, and those items will disappear from view.

When you want to see them back again you just click on the eye again to change the top eye back to black.

When you switch between the the brown eye settings you will briefly see a message in white, located near the top middle of your screen, that tells you which mode you selected. Examples:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...YE REGULAR.PNG Game panel etc hidden

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...YE MINIMAL.PNG Game panel etc not hidden.

When using a tool in Minimal mode, red eye brown background, where the game panel etc is hidden you will also see another 2 icons bottom right of the screen:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...X OCT 2020.PNG The yellow toolbox that shows above the 2 eyes is so you can access any other tools that you have. If you have purchased tools, you must make sure that they are placed in your Item storage so they will show up in the Toolbox.

To access the tools in your toolbox just click on the toolbox icon to open it.

When you click on a tool in the toolbox to use, the toolbox will automatically close.

If you change your mind about selecting a different tool just click the white X on the toolbox to close it.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...E OCT 2020.PNG When you have more than one farm, below the 2 eyes, a mini farm selector icon will be shown.

When you click on it the farm selector will expand to show you a grid of all of your farms. To go to another farm just click on the the one you want in that grid.

In the following example, the user has 42 farms. The farm with a yellow background indicates the farm that they are currently on:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...D OCT 2020.PNG

Clicking on SHOW NAMES will open a bigger window showing you the names of your farms. To go to a farm click on the name of that farm.

Clicking on DEFAULT would take you to whichever farm you had set to default. You can only set a farm to default when you have more than one farm.

Clicking on LAST will take you to the last one of your own farms that you were on. For example, if had you been on your farm 1 then moved to farm 42, clicking on LAST would take you back to farm 1.

What are the red squares or blocks of red when hiding items?

What are the red squares or blocks of red when hiding items?

They are a temporary indicator to help you know where the footprint of some of your items are on your farms. This helps you to know where your items are placed so that you don't try to place another item exactly on top of it or are trying to see if there's enough room to place something can be placed in a small clear area of your farm.

Each red square will show you where you placed an item when you hide it by using one the methods below or by perhaps by using the hide option in the menu you see when you click on an item on your farm.

When you have a lot of items right next to each other those red squares will join up and form a block of red instead of individual squares.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg... JUNE 2021.PNG This is the Hide Tool in your Toolbox which you can click on to use and then click on an item on your farm to temporarily hide a single item or more if you use the tool more than once.

You can not use the Hide Tool to hide fields or ground cover, those can only be hidden in preferences. Plowed fields don't hide, they must be planted to be able to hide them using preferences for crops.

When you are done using the tool, click the green man to stop using the tool. If you no longer need to see the red squares, then you can just refresh the farm and those individually hidden items will then show back up. If you only have on farm you can reload the game.

This is an example of what will show when one of 2 pines tree is hidden. In the picture the red square is where the hidden pine tree is placed on the farm.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../PREF ICON.PNG This is the preferences icon top right of your game screen where you would go to show or hide crops for example. When you use preferences to show and hide things like crops trees etc, you show and hide all of that item, so all crops, all trees. When you have a lot of items on your farms and you hide them after showing them, you will see more red squares or blocks of red.

Example:
If you were only showing trees in your preferences and then decided to not show them (remove the check mark for Show Trees) you hide all the trees.

The picture below is of multiple pine trees that are planted close together and there is one missing towards the middle of them.

If you look carefully at the top of the pine trees in the left picture, you might be able to see where there is one missing, but that doesn't show you where the base of the new tree should go as you can't see it. So if you hide the trees in preferences, what you would see is the right picture.

The square in the middle of that red block that is not red doesn't have a pine tree there. The block of red around that is where the bottom of the hidden pine trees are. It's a block of red rather than induvial red squares because all the pine trees are right next to each other. This is useful if you want to check where you could place another one in amongst them so you have an idea of where the foot of the pine tree should go.

When hiding crops it works a little differently because a field that you plow takes up more space than a smaller item like a pine tree or flower, so it just shows you one red square per field of crop and that red square for that field is the uppermost corner of that plot. There are many items in the game that are like this, the wider trees, buildings, bigger decorations, facilities etc

To give you an idea of the size of a plowed field compared to the space pine trees would use and where the red square would be in relation to a hidden crop, in this picture I have plowed 2 single fields, planted 9 pine trees above the plowed field and planted the other field with rice. I have also used the Grass with Guidelines ground cover which displays a red grid on the whole farm at ground level. As you can see 1 plowed field is approximately 9 squares, the similar amount of space used if you were to plant 9 pines in a squared layout.

In the picture below I only have crops showing. When I remove the check mark for show crops in preferences, the plowed field still shows up because it isn't planted. The rice field disappears and a red square appears where it was. The blue arrows in the pictures indicate the top corner of that rice field which is where that red square will be when you hide the crops.

In these pictures below I have plowed 2 lots of 16 fields in a 4 x 4 square layout, planted them. The top picture is the crops showing. The bottom picture is what you see when I hide the crops using preferences (removed the check mark for Show Crops.)

The Grass with Guidelines ground cover can come in handy when you design or remodel your farms and put more on them or want to make sure everything is lined up where you want them. You will find it easily buy Opening the Store either use the search box at the top and type in guideline or by clicking on the Path/Ground section and then click on the AZ icon top right and click on the filter named Cost and that will put all the available ground covers at the top of that section of the store. It's a one time purchase of 35FC. After that you can use and reuse it on as many farms as you want and each time you change a ground cover it will only cost 100 coins just like the other ground covers in the store.

How to use the Camera

How to Use the Camera in your Toolbox to take picture of your farm.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/CAMERA.png

Before you take a photo of your farm you first need to decide what it is you want to see in the picture:
  1. Everything on the farm or some things on it.

  2. The whole farm or a portion of the farm.

  3. Whether the picture needs to be small, medium or large.

IMPORTANT: If you are going to post the photo in the forum please ONLY use the SMALL SIZE. The Medium and Large sizes are far too wide for the forum.

  4. If the picture has a green background or a white background.

  5. Any description you want to add if you are posting it to Facebook.
OR if you don't want to post the picture to Facebook straight away and only save a temporary photo in the Farm Pictures section of the Account tab where you can use a different method to post it to Facebook before the pictures are automatically deleted from that section.

The Farm Pictures section of the Account tab can store up to a maximum of 200 pictures in a month. There are sections for the current month and the 3 previous months. Beginning of each new month the pictures in the oldest month will automatically be deleted.

1. Go to the farm you want to take a picture of.

2. If you are already on it and may have just finished designing it, reload the farm or the game just in case anything is temporarily hidden that you may have forgotten about, and for any red squares that help indicate where hidden items are to disappear.
You can Refresh a farm without reloading the game if you have more than one farm. Look toward the top left of your game screen for coloured rectangles. The one with the yellow background is the farm that you are currently on. If you click on that yellow rectangle you will reload that farm. In this example Farm 1 is the farm this farmer is on.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/REFRESH FARM.png

3. https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/PREFS.png Check your preference settings.
Make sure that you have check marks on everything you want to show up in the picture.
The sections of preferences that you may want to use are indicated in red in the picture below.
Freeze animals can help to stop your animals moving if you want them in the picture.
If you make any changes remember to click on the green check mark at the bottom of the Preferences window to save the change.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/PREFS ALL RED.png

4. You can not take a photo while in Full Screen mode.
If you try to take a picture while in Full Screen mode you will see this message. Even if you are not going to post the picture to Facebook you must still click on the green check mark to drop out of Full Screen Mode.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/F...RTED ON FB.png

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/TOOLBOX.png 5. Click on the yellow toolbox bottom right of your game screen

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/CAMERA.png 6. The Camera is located in your Toolbox in the 2nd column from the left at the very bottom. Click on it and you will be shown the Save this Picture window that has some options that you can choose to use.
There are 2 options at the top of the window. Farm and Window

To take a picture of the full farm you need to use Farm mode which is always set to default and has an orange background.

If you are posting to Facebook the picture will be limited to the size of the Facebook posting box, but once posted there, all you do to see it bigger is click on it.

These examples show Farm Mode selected and what using Small size looks like when seeing a picture of the entire farm posted on the forum. This farm is 60x60 in size.

The other option Window mode gives you the option of taking a picture of only part of the farm instead of all of it.

Getting a picture right using Window mode can take some practice with zooming the farm size and moving the farm around to get the picture how you want it, but it can be useful if you want to show only a section of the farm or something small that would not be easily seen in a full farm picture.

To use Window mode click on the Window button to turn it orange.

You will see a mini picture of what that will look like. If it's not quite right, click on the red X top right of the window, adjust your farm and then try again.

When you post to Facebook your picture will be limited to the size of the Facebook posting box, but once posted all you do to see it bigger is click on it.

These examples show Window Mode selected and what using Small size looks like when seeing a picture of the a portion of a farm posted on the forum.

7. Below the example of your photo is the option to post to Facebook if you have a Facebook account.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/POST TO FB.png

The check mark must be ADDED if you want to post it to Facebook and you must be logged into your Facebook account to be able to post it.

If you do not want to post it to Facebook you can remove the check mark and when you take the photo it will be in your Farm Pictures section of the account tab where you will be able to see it and get a link for the picture to be able to post it at a later time using the Farm Pictures section of the Account tab.
8. Below the Facebook option are the picture sizes, Small, Medium, Large. Select the one you want to use.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/SIZES.png

Remember if the picture is for the forum ONLY use the Small size.

On Facebook you will mostly only notice the difference in sizes when you click on the picture on Facebook.

On the forum it will post the size without needing to click on the picture, but the Medium and Large sizes are far too big for the forum width, so please the Small size for the forum.

9. To the right of the sizes is the option to show a green background or white background.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/BACKGROUNDS.png

Background: Green is set to default. If you want to change that and see what your picture will look like with a white background click on the little drop down arrow then click on Background: White.

10. Once you are happy with your choices click on NEXT.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/NEXT.png

If you are not posting it to Facebook the picture will be saved in your Farm Pictures section in the Account tab.

If you are posting to Facebook you will then see the a popup to Confirm posting to Facebook.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/CAM/C...POST TO FB.png

Click on the Green Check mark to continue.

The Facebook posting box will then show up in another window where you can do the usual things like, change the privacy of the photo, add a description, along with the other usual Facebook posting options.

In this example the picture is set to post to Public and will post to your profile as well as Facebook Newsfeed. The Public button can be clicked on to allow you to change the privacy of the photo when you post it to Facebook. OR you can change the privacy on the post after you have posted it to Facebook.

Chapter 02 Basics

What is Farm Stats?

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...STATS TOOL.png

Farm Stats is a tool in your toolbox that can help you see the statistics of things like harvestable items or facilities that are currently on your farms and can help to locate where they are.

To View your own Farm Stats you must be on your own farms.

Farm Stats can be very useful as you get more farms and expand them to much bigger sizes. For example, you could use it for:
  • Growing or Ready to harvest crops, harvested/plowed fields, trees, flowers, fish.

In the Products section you can chose whether or not to include in the figures you see for harvestable items, any increases due to fertilizer, baits and bonuses.

In the Products section you can choose to include or not include what is on any farms that you have designated as Quest farms.

Animal products - will show you the amount of animal products you can get from each farm. Eggs, horsehair, milk, wool, feathers. Note that the figures for animal products are not affected by the fertilizer, baits and bonuses option.

You can find out which farms those products are on.

  • Facilities - Easily search for which farms your facilities are on, how many you have of each type, easily find which farm a facility is on (or not on) when you want to add or remove facilities from farms.

There are various filters in each section of Farm Stats that you can use to help narrow down what it is you want to see or find. We will show you those further down this post.

------------------------------------------------

To open Farm Stats:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...X JAN 2024.png Click on your yellow toolbox bottom right of your game screen.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...S JAN 2024.png Then look for the Farm Stats icon in the 2nd column on the left and click on the Farm Stats icon to open the tool.

Farm Stats has 2 sections. One for Products. The other section is for Facilities.

To view a section click on the section that you want to use at the top of the window (Products or Facilities) so that the background colour of that section is orange which indicates that section is being viewed.

------------------------------------------------

The Products section
Using the Products section for more than the Current farm does have some farm requirements.
When you do not have enough farms or enough farms upgraded to a certain size there will be some limits on using the filters.

The requirements to show All Products on All farms, are as follows:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...QUIREMENTS.png

When you only have one farm the option to change farms top right of Farm Stats will be missing until you get more farms. Example:

When you have more than one farm the option to change from Current Farm will show up at the top right of Farm Stats.
Example of Current Farm:

  • The various filters at the top of the window can be used to show a specific category or all products by ready, growing or wasted and when they will be in that state ranging from Now to 24hrs or more.

To change the filter, click on the drop down arrow then click on the filter you want to use.

The A-Z filter allows you to filter what shows Alphabetically, by Quantity or Category.
To change the A-Z filter click on it then scroll down and click on the option you want to select it.
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...AZ FITLERS.png
All Products can be changed to filter to specific products.
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...CTS FILTER.png
Ready can be changed to Growing or Wasted (Wasted only shows for Crops).
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ADY FILTER.png
Now can be changed to a different time period. Now, within 1 hour, in 1 to 2 hours and more.
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...NOW FILTER.png
Current Farm (when you have more than one Farm) can be changed to All farms or a specific farm.
This example only shows Current Farm, All farms and 3 farms listed, as this farm owner only has 3 farms. When you have more than 20 farms you will see a much longer list and a scroll bar to the right that you can use to scroll the list up or down to see more farms. If you have a wheel on your mouse you can also use that to scroll the list.
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ARM FILTER.png

When you mouse over any product showing you will also see how many you have stored.
    Examples:
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...R EXAMPLES.png

  • At the very bottom of the window there are also 2 check boxes:
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...EST OPTION.png

Include products due to fertilizer, baits, bonuses - Adding the check mark to the box will include in the amounts shown, what you would get if the farms were fertilized, you had enough bait and what belts/dans you have earned for each item.
Remove the check mark if you don't want to see the extra amounts. This can be useful when trying to see how many of a specific tree are on a specific farm or all farms.

Include products in Quests farms - Adding the check mark includes what is on farms designated as Quest farms. Removing it can be useful for those that like to have a few of every workable crop, tree, flower, waters on a specific farm set as a Quest farm for use in regular quests so may not want those to show if they don't tend to hire anyone for those farms to be worked.

IMPORTANT: Farm Stats does not always update immediately when you have been working your farms.
When you work farms or make modifications to what is on farms the Refresh Stats button top right of the window button when not greyed out can be clicked on to update the information.

    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...RESH STATS.png

Once you have used Refresh Stats the button will grey out again.
    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ATS DIMMED.png

To close Farm Stats click on the red X top right of the Farm Stats window.

    https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...FARM STATS.png

------------------------------------------------

The Facilities section

will show you stats on which facilities you own that are out on your farms. It will not show you any facilities that you have in storage so always check Item storage before you buy a facility.

The filters at the top can help you find where your facilities are on farms and which ones do or don't have a specific facility on which can be useful when you need more than one of the same facility and it has to be placed on a different farm where you don't already have one.
All Facilities can be filtered to:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ACS FILTER.png

Any Currency can be filtered to:
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...NCY FILTER.png

Current Farm can also be filtered to Current Farm, All Farms or a specific farm. When you have more then 20 farms you can use your mouse wheel to scroll down the list and click on the on farm you want to see the stats for or use the scroll bar to the right to scroll the list.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...ARM FILTER.png

The Search Icon at the top right of the facilities section can be clicked on to show you a search box which you can type one or more names of the facility you are looking for.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...EARCH TOOL.png
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...SEARCH BOX.png

NOTE: Please type the name of the facility correctly, the search will show you any facility meeting that search criteria. For example just typing in "mine" will show you all the different types of mines you own, where as typing "Turbo Mineral Mine" would only show you Turbo Mineral Mines and not the rest.

Example of a search for "mine". This farm owner only owns 2 mineral mines and 1 open-pit mine.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...EARCH MINE.png

When you only have one of the facilities there will not be a number in the box.
If you mouseover the picture of the facility and there is NO Go button, the facility is on the current farm.
Mousing over the picture of the facility will show you that.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...M FEB 2024.png

If you mouseover the picture of the facility and there IS a Go button, that means the facility is on a different farm.
Mousing over the picture of the facility will also show you which farm it is on.
The Go button when clicked on will take you to that farm.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...3 FEB 2024.png

When you have more than one of the facilities there will be a number in the box.
Mouseover the box and 3 dots will appear that you can click on.
That will then show you a new window.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg.../MINERAL 2.png https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...RAL 2 DOTS.png

You will then see a box for every farm that you own.

If the facility is greyed out you DON'T have that facility on that farm.

If the facility is not greyed out you DO have that facility on that farm.

You can mouseover any of those boxes representing each of your farms and a Go button will appear. Click on the Go button and it takes you to that farm so that you can search for the facility to remove it or add add the facility to it if it doesn't already have one on that farm.

Back to All Stats clears your search so you can start over or search for another facility.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg... ALL STATS.png

Refresh Stats can be used when you add or remove a facility from a farm to update Farm Stats. The button will dim once it has been used.
https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...RESH STATS.png

To close Farm Stats click on the red X top right of the Farm Stats window.

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameg...FARM STATS.png

------------------------------------------------

NOTE: When viewing Farm Stats on another farmers farm, (as a Super Neighbour, Neighbour, Buddy, Stranger), you can only use the Farm Stats according to what that farmer has the ability to use when they view their own Farm Stats.

For example:
  1. If they have enough farms upgraded to see all stats on All Farms, you will be able to see all stats on All Farms as well.
  2. If they can only view stats for the Current farm then you can only view their stats for the Current farm.
