We only know that many farmers using Mac have no problems loading the game with Opera browser instead of Safari.

Please check your Safari browser is up to date and if you have any pending updates for Mac. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu, then click Software Update to check for updates. In Software Updates it will tell you if your software is up to date or if there is and upgrade available. If your are not sure how to update your device and check for updates please click on this link for instructions https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201541

You can also clear your browser cache but remember that after the clearing the game always loads very slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

If nothing helps you, then you could contact Apple Help Center and see if they can help you.

I've tried 3 different browsers and still can't connect to FT. (Chrome, Firefox and Edge)
I have cleared cache, rebooted router and modem, and restarted the computer a few times. My user ID is 1695990080.

Please check if the browser you usually use is up to date. Also check if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it.

Which cache did you clear? Memcache or browser cache?

If you cleared browser cache, then after the clearing, the game will load very slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

I had hidden all Show..... in your preferences, the wrench, like crops, flowers, ponds, etc. to make it easier for you to load the farm.

Farms loading under the wrong name
 

Not sure where to post this. I have no issues loading anything except there seems to be a gremlin at play. No matter whose farm I load, it opens as CINDIE ALL BIG TOOLS/FUEL for an instant and then changes to the correct farm. All I know is she has 30,241,992,166 XP's. It's so quick I can't even get a screenshot. I have cleared memcache to no avail. I mean, I still can play but why is this farmer 'stuck' to me? :confused: She's not even a friend or neighbor by the way - I checked.......

Are you using a saved bookmark to get to your farms? If so please do not do that as the browsers seem to update that sometimes which changes where it goes. Please use either the shortcut in the left column of your Facebook home page or the Play FarmTown button at the top of the forums.

This usually happens when the browser encounters an error and "thinks" WebGL is disabled.

Most of the time, it is while or after working heavy worked farms, specially full of water items.

You can close your browser for a few minutes and then reopen it and see if the problem is fixed.
If not, then restart your compurter.

If nothings helps you, then clear your browser cache. The first time you load the game after the clearing, it will load slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

Yes, all game functions work as normal, you can post and work facilities, the only thing you are unable to do is interact with other people directly (hiring or chatting)

You can send offline messages using the envelope.

Loading farms
 

It is taking exceptionally long times to load farms (up to a minute). Any Ideas? I have a gig connection, so it isn't bandwidth. It has only started happening since the past 2 updates. Thanks for your help.

When an error shows in the FT console please try to copy the error so we can see exactly which one it is.

I have been on your farms and had no difficulty staying connected.

If you are still getting problems now then it's likely there is a problem in one or more of the many link your computer needs to go through to get to the game. That you would have to wait for whoever owns the link to see the problem and fix it.

Thanks for the error, that is usually an internet connection issue that you may have to wait out and is often temporary. Unfortunately the links you go through are owned by many different companies, it only takes one to have a problem for the path to the game severs not to work well.

If you have not already done so you can check everything your end and make sure things like updates on the computer are done, browsers are still showing up to date and have been cleared recently, try another updated browser to make sure it's not a browser issue and it might also be worth turning off both your computer and your router for a few minutes then reboot both and see if that helped at all.

In the meantime you can try working offline, or ask a super neighbour to help you out, but if you work your own farms please make sure you recheck the farms you did before irrigating to make sure they remained done in case anything not save.

Hi. I have an issue with Farm#7. It looks like it froze and still tells me 2.4 days before it can be harvested. It already looks like it is ready to harvest. I also was planting today and the game completely froze when I watered my crop. I had to force shut down and reboot. Thanks for the help and thanks for keeping Farmtown going. Patty T

Hi Farmgalpatti,

The chia on your farm 7 is currently showing 2.4 days until ready to harvest so the crops are not ready yet. The colour of the crop will get a little bit darker by the time it is showing ready to harvest.

For your other issue, was there any error showing in the FT console beneath your game screen when this happened? If you're not sure and it happens again please check there and if there is an error showing try to copy it and let us know which one it is.

If you have not already done so please make sure that you have done all the routine things like making sure computer updates and browser updates are done. If you haven't cleared your browser caches/history in a while it might be worth you doing that as well.

Then please also clear your FT memcache. To do that Click Here. A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload and see if the next time you water or irrigate a farm the issue returns.
