After a weekof Microsoft Edge, FT is working fine again on Chrome!

If you are using Chrome there have been 2 updates in the past week.


If you have already checked the above items, and got this problem after Chrome updated, do you remember if when you were last able to use that browser if you saw the following in the FT Console?:

LOGWarning: Your browser does not support "WebGL 2" Graphics API, switching to "WebGL 1"

If you were previously limited to using WebGL 1.0 that particular LOGWarning will no longer be showing up in the FT console any more and you will have to use a different browser.

OK - I'm getting "WebGL supported but not enabled"...I'm not savvy enough to figure out how to correct it...I've followed the links provided, but it's beyond my expertise & I need more help...

Have you been able to play today and it's just gone disabled now?

Check your browser and see if it needs updating, update it if it needs doing. Then close the browser for a few minutes and then reopen it.

Even if the browser does not need updating, still try closing the browser for a few minutes and then reopen it and see if it then show WebGL is enabled again.

It’s been a couple of days not working…I rebooted about 30 minutes ago - no change.

I’m not sure where to look for & how to update Chrome browser…like I said, I’m not too savvy with this stuff…you help is appreciated.

As you are using Chrome it might have automatically updated for you.

If you would like to check if Chrome needs updating:

1. top right of your Chrome browser window are 3 dots
   
   
2. click on the dots
   
   
3. scroll down and click on Help
   
   
4. Another menu will show. Click on About Google Chrome.
   
   
5. It will then open a new tab for you in the browser.
   
   
6. If it needs updating you should see it automatically start downloading the update.
   
   
7. If it does not need updating it will tell you that it's up to date and the version it is.
   

I took a 4-day Labor Day weekend, so I think it might’ve been Tuesday or Wednesday since my last successful login; I tried Sunday & noticed the error then & have had no success since.

I will follow the process you suggested in about an hour & get back to you with the result.

Not sure if you have been notified but so many people are having trouble getting on FT. I have been waiting for what seems like forever to load the game myself but being patient it is close to the end of loading even though it seems to have stalled. ID 604354593

Try closing the tab the game is open in and open it in a new tab.
Check for any browser updates if you haven't already, then even if it doesn't need updating, close the browser for a few minutes and reopen it and that usually resolves it.

Is this only happening in one browser or is it happening in every browser you have tried?
Have you kept up to date with your computer updates and browser updates?
If not please do those and then see if the game will load for you.

If it doesn't it might be that you have an temporary internet issue that will clear itself up. Is there any bad weather in your region? Some countries/areas can have odd issues occur with internet when the weather is bad.

I'm not having any issues loading your farms, they are loading fast for me.

Some areas in some countries are having problems with bad weather which is a possible cause of slow loading or not being able to load.

I'm not having any problems loading your farms fast.

If there isn't any bad weather in your region or you haven't tried them yet, you could try checking for the routine things like computer updates, browser updates, trying other updates browsers and even shutting down your router for a few minutes then rebooting it and see if it helps you at all.

Not connecting to mainframe. Cannot hire or sell in markets etc Help please. Sharon

I played the game yesterday with no problem. This morning I cannot get it to connect online. The box comes up "Reconnect to Mainframe and enter online mode?" I click but just get the same box over and over. the code at the bottom is: LOG[SFS - ERROR] [WebSocketLayer] Connection error: Abnormal disconnection.
