Play tab not loading
 

I am having issues loading the play tab only. All other tabs loa fine except for the Play tab will not load.

I just loaded your farms without problems.

Please be sure your browser and your computer system are up to date. After any update it is always better to restart your computer.

After checking that, then go to the first post, first page of this thread where you will find more suggestions to try.

I hid all Show ..... items in your preferences, to make it easier for you to load your farms.

i dont have an issue loading any of farmtown tabs except the play tab. I do have Web GL2 enabled.
Please help, this is 4 days I havent been able to play.

Hi Lisa,
The other tabs do not require all that the farms Play tab needs to load.


As you were asked in the reply to your first post about this please update your browser and computer system. After you have done that then restart your computer.
If that still does not fix it then please go to the first post, first page of this thread where you will find more suggestions to try. Go through all of those including the ones ina link there.

Hi. When I start up my farms from the sign in page, it always takes me to a neighbors farm instead of my own. Just thought you might want to know. I just click home from there and end up on my own, but this must be a glitch of some kind. Here is a picture of where it takes me.

Logout of your farms. Please delete your saved bookmark for the link to the login page. Then use the button at the top of the forums that says Play in Farmtown.com. After you go to that login then you can save a new bookmark and log into your farms. That should take you directly to your farms.
Unfortunately the browsers can change your bookmarks to the last thing you were on for a site you have opened. Be sure you always go back to your own farms before you logout when you are finished for the day.

Why am I not allowed to play when I don't even know what a bot is? I have super neighbor's that do 99 % of what happens on my farm. I've been playing since 2009, spent boo coo's of money and now this.

Have you been using an autoclicker? If so then you have had it up a too high a click rate.

It would not be what your super neighbors are doing as that would be on them if they were using something to work faster.

Can't get into the game
 

So yesterday, I get a message on my farmtown screen that I was endangered of getting banned or something like that, cause they thought I was using a bot. I play regular way with no help. Then it was working fine. Then Just a few mins ago this morning, went to log into my farm and now it says once again I was using a bot. Which I wasn't and I can't play till aug 30. What is going on??? How can I fix this?

When I sign on I am always getting the following "Error" message. Also the game is super slow at loading. What am I doing wrong? And now I can not get it to "paste".

I'm taking 10 minutes to log in, and a long time between farms - what is happening?
my PC is working ok in other processes

One thing I noticed, is you have many animals outside their buildings in some of your farms. Those can affect how your farms load.
You can read about that in the following thread:

Also, you can only have 1 animal building of the same type on a farm. For example in your farm 17 you have 7 Dairy shed but only 1 works, the other 6 are only decoration.
You can move them to other farms where you dont have that type of animal building and then place into them the animals you have running free in your farms.

First the memcache does not clear your browser cache as that is not the same and does not clear your passwords. The memcache clears the server data and allows your farm data to be reloaded.
I am sorry, but we can not go back to Facebook as they are the ones that have deactivated the game through there.
If you have had 7 dairy sheds on one farm then you have been wasting the space for 6 of those as they are not holding any animals. You can only have 1 working dairy shed on a farm. The rest do not store any animals nor can they be harvested.
Even though you have had animals running loose on your farms before and didn't have problems, it has always been a problem that can and apparently is causing extreme slowdowns. You need to move the extra dairy sheds to other farms, one on each, and add the animals in those shed if you want to be able to speed up your play.

You have not told us if you checked updates for your computer and your browser or if you followed the instructions given in the first post of this thread.

I hid all Show.... in your preferences, the wrench, to make it easier to load your farms.

See if that helps you, but also check the updates and also try to load your farms in other updated browser.

Hi everyone, it's the first time I've gone to the game today ( UK here ), I can log in (it takes a while ) but the game won't load, it's just hanging there. Also this forum was very slow loading too. Anything going on ?

Edit : I've just realised about the flooding and everything is going on in California, I don't know, but is that where you guys are based ? Perhaps everything is down because of that ? If it is, take care.

I'm still unable to get on FT, and it's taking ages to get from farm to farm..
I've jumped through all the hops that have been requested, deleted items.. still sl o o o o o wwww

The game is currently unplayable as it is so slow and half of the time loads with everything hidden.

We are not having any problems with loading your farms.

Does your computer match or exceed the minimum Farmtown hardware and software requirements listed in the 1st post on page 1?

Is this only happening when you show everything in your preferences which is what we can see you have showing at the time of this post?

Is it only happening at specific times of the day?

Does it only happen after loading a specific farm? If so which one?

Try disabling everything that you are not working on at that time.
For example if you are only working on crops, trees, flowers just show those and remove the check marks for everything else like decorations facilities building etc. See if you can load your farms faster doing that.

If at the time of this post you are not able to load your farms at all, we can turn off most of what you have set to show so that you have less to load the next time you try if you wish.

What have you already tried?

Please go to the 1st post on page 1 there are several things listed there that you can try.

For example we can see you have quite a few loose animals on your first and 2nd farms which can be a huge drain on resources especially when you also allow them to roam. Ideally animals should be stored in their animal sheds.

You might also want to try the compressed graphics setting if this issue with loading is happening quite often.

It seems a lot of us are experiencing problems?

Re the laptop - it is a GAMING computer ( Erazer X7851 with all necessary
requirements - and then some ).. all other pages open without any issues
and I only play the one game (and have done so since 2008)

The browser is Microsoft Edge (I've tried Google chrome as well)

some times of the day are preferable - but I noticed today that
a horse and a Clydesdale gifted to me, ghosted on ALL farms (even my neighbours? )

This can't all be MY fault can it??

What do you mean by this....

Did you accept a gift of horse and Clydesdale and place them on your farm or in a building and now you seeing a horse no matter whose farm you go to?

I am not getting any of those errors when loading your farms on Edge.
Have you cleared Edge recently, checked for updates, have you added any extensions to the browser since you started getting this issue. Are cookies still enabled on Edge?

When the browser tab opens close it and log out of the website (you will need your login details to log back in), close your browser, reopen it, go back to the website, login and see if that made any difference please.

No, I guess it cleared when I logged out? ( the gifted horses.. I sold them straight away )

You will receive an automatic response email when you submit your ticket. That email will have your ticket number and a link for you to check the status of your ticket, so please do not delete that email. If you do not see the email then check your spam folder as sometimes those emails get classified as spam.
