Trees, crops, fruits, flowers, etc. all work the same: Do not harvest ahead! If the product is in storage when you start the quest, you can't use it!

I detest layered trees - especially when the farmer has multiple thjousands of tress - you cannot possibly see all of the ones ready to harvest, so the "boss" sends you back...
