From the space limitations point of view, it makes more sense to have trees rather than animals for passive income.

Income from 1 mango tree or 1 coconut tree is almost the same as income from 1 cow.
You can easily have 70 coconut trees without space problems; how about 70 cows??
And you will have more available dough to buy the swimming pool.....
Bottom line: a "click to harvest all trees" feature is required,
as hired farmers usually avoid to harvest trees.
