She saw me playing it the other day and wanted to play, but we couldn't find it anywhere except on Facebook. Maybe you could make another version that can be downloaded for anyone to use. Just a thought.

It just seems like kids would probably have more fun with this game and it's more wholesome than a lot of the video games out there. This is definitely the type of game I would buy for my kids because I think they can actually learn something useful from it.
This is great feedback that I am sure the developers will appreciate!

This game is a beta program, which means it is still in it's early developmental stages. Truth is - all of the players, by playing and reporting feedback, are effectively helping to create the program. It can be frustrating sometimes, but I think it is also kind of exciting to be a part of the development. Hopefully, you feel the same way.

Just to give you some idea of the background and short history of the game, here is some information about the game development:
Farm Town “launched on February 1st of this year. It is not "public" per se. If you search for it - even on Facebook - you won't find it. We haven't published it to the application directory.

We needed to test how the application would perform in real life. To do this we sent it to a dozen people to test. The idea was to test with a handful of users, iron out all bugs, and then publish the application.

What happened is that in 2 months, we went from 12 users to 3 million users, with 1 million users playing in a day - All from word of mouth from the original 12 users! We are now at over 7 million users total with over 3 million users PER DAY!

But the real test to the servers is the number of users connected at any point in time. 99% of the bugs and issues we've seen have to do more with the sheer volume of people using the game than with the game itself.

Our servers WERE processing more than 4,000 requests per second, and transmitting more than 200 MBytes per sec. To put things in perspective you would need 1300+ DSL lines to serve this much bandwidth... I say WERE because these figures are from a little over a month ago. I cannot even IMAGINE what they are now and haven’t wanted to distract the developers from the game issues to get updated figures!
