I have done the following from that link:
I checked checked server and connectivity with the link and got the response as shown in Rob T's post.
I had already cleared my memcache several times and completely cleared the browser history and cache.
I did try to load from the forum and just now from my home page. Thinking as have been 7 hours at this.
Time to walk away from this irritation and get some other things done in real life.
