New Release -- December 22nd, 2009

I have only been on Farmtown for about a month and a half. This new update is awful. I can't plow or harvest on someone elses farm. It takes forever and that is being kind. I click on an area and it seems to start harvesting, and then I click on ten or fifteen harvest areas before the next harvest actually happens. I really am saddened, because I used this game as a stress reliever. I don't think I will be playing much in the future if I cant make progress in a timely manner. I hope I posted this correctly and would appreciate some direction from anyone who might be able to help. Thanks. I hope this is a temporary change. Farmer Kelly

The slowness just to harvest is more time then I'm willing to give. It takes all day now just to harvest, plow , then plant with that stupid big seed bag. I never lost xp points either.. Arn't there enough other issues to keep the designer busy other then adding what was not broken?

I would rather lose some xps and coins. the slowness makes it frustrating and takes some of the fun away. I wish you would back out this change

Don't bother the new update no longer allows having layers from what I have read.

Also there are farmers who higher multple people just to see if they will fight. I've not seen or experienced any "collisions" thats laughable. just irritated when several people are trying to harvest or plow the same plot. Fix it where only two can be hired per farm and I've suggested before get a FIRE control button of some kind..

Personally, I think this SUCKS. I'm constantly banging into other avatars now. And MEGA slow. I used to be really fast at plowing, now I'm lucky if I get three plots to their 20. I'm LOSING money because of this, since I'm not making as much as I used to. As soon as I enter a farm after being hired, I click on the closest plot, like your instructions say... but so has everyone else. And then its like my avatar has to wait.. because I get "wait, I'm busy" after I click the next plot. And then it takes a bit before I even move anywhere.

It really sucks. It was bad before, and then you made the queuing, and that was TONS better. I am so not going to be happy with this. Thanks.

The avitar moves very slow except when you are harvesting or plowing. If you have to move across the field, you might as well as forget it because by the time your avitar gets there the work is done. It will not let you start on the other side of the field until your avitar gets to the spot and then as long as you don't get to for ahead of your avitar it works pretty good. There are some bugs that need to be worked out that is for sure.

AMEN TO THAT! We shouldn't be stuck with people that don't work once you hire them or they just make a mess of your field forcing you to hire someone else to fix the problem. If you don't want to hire someone to clean up the mess you are required to hemorrhage our coins to fix it your self. I AM ALL FOR A FIRE BUTTON AND LIMITING THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE YOU CAN HIRE!

thanks for the effort to fix my ex pts problems. Not sure I like the new format at all, but I do appreciate the points staying in my bank! I should be at level 50 by now with all I've lost, but I'm only at 41. Love the game though!
