I really, really hate this upgrade. It has brought plowing and harvesting to a virtual standstill. Since the avatar is always on top of the field you are working on, he is often in the way. (You are always clicking on it instead of the field.) Trees are a major issue since they don't tend to be close together to harvest. If you miss a field you might as well abandon it as try to backtrack, etc., etc., etc. Issues have been addressed but I wanted to add my extreme displeasure for the recond.

I love FT and the new changes (second farm, new buildings) have got me playing again ... until now. It's HORRIBLE!

ok one more thing.. In the Preference area where it say "Wait for Each Plow/Plant" IS AN OPTION right? Well how about you make that up to poeple whether they want to plow/harvest fast or slow. Go back to Fast. And oh yeah poeple all over are right i can't chat and play anymore. You know if farmville makes a market where there is chatting u can say bye bye farmtown

I did read the opening message,and I realize they were trying to fix a problem.However,they have created a bigger problem.When you slow people down,they(like myself) are gonna lose interest.they made things much worse and I believe game participation will suffer,as will their ad revenue..the bottom line..i think your gonna see a lot of complaints like this.

Ive read many pages here about this update. I hope the developers pay attention! This fix is for old codgers and creepers that want people to go sloooow, and stay inside the lines. It is a game ender for the swift and lively.

Yeah.....this pretty much sucks. Think I'll be moving to Farmville or that Island.

I understand the reasoning for it, but it is now so slow...I miss the quick click!

been there done that, and guess what, I would never, ever do something like this farce of a fix. Farmtown was fun until this downgrade. yes i said downgrade. if it was an upgrade then all these posts wouldn't be here would they????

I personally didn't have the missing coin/xp issue that caused this "fix" that isn't a fix at all to happen. sure i lost a few here and there, but that didn't keep me from having fun playing the game. Just gave me a reason to work a little harder for what I wanted.

You can still go very fast, if you go from left to right and then from right back to left; top to bottom and then from bottom back to top. You can still click very fast as if you're playing Nintendo or any other video games.

If you go line by line as I have described it, how fast you go is controlled by yourself. I'm faster than anyone because I'm used to playing games, your finger has to go clicking fast on the mouse if you want to go fast.

You can't just go randomly click on any fields anymore, otherwise your avatar will go around in circles and doesn't know where it should go next. Just follow straight lines in the manner that I have described above. I had done several farms after the upgrades and I have never been happier.

THIS IS FANTASTIC IF YOU FOLLOW STRAIGHT LINES!!!!!!

left to right, and then from right back to left and then back to right ...and so on.

top to bottom, and then from bottom to top, and then back to the bottom...and so on..

You will find you're actually so much faster, if your finger can click fast, then this upgrade is your cup of tea!!

i disagree with you on this, I always went left to right top to bottom and it was quicker before this joke of a fix was implemented.

I have tried to play this with the new downgrade and have decided that after my crops are mature, and i have harvested them, the unplowed fields will sit and wait for this to be properly upgraded back to where it was.

if they really wanted to remove the collisions, they should make it where you can hire only 2 or 3 harvesters and 2 or 3 plowers.

I really don't like playing this game this way anymore. It's way to slow. You cannot see where you're working because of the points that are in the fields. I think I'm going to play a different game that's faster. I only played farmtown, but now I think that I move on to another game. I'm very dissapointed.

i have always gone in a straight line in lowing and harvesting i use to be able to take a break and chat while my little guy worked now all i can do is click pause click im having to wait for my my little guy at each field it took me over an hour to harvest a friends farm that took me 15 min before and i didnt have time to say anything to them cause if i tried to it would have taken over 2 hours to get done i understand the part of hiring multiple people to do a farm with the people fighting over crops and harvest but what bout the rest of us that have dedicated people we talk to everyday i ran 3 farms on here cause i like the game and was addicted too but i dont have the kind of time it takes with these new changes
