You can now make Honey Ice Cream and Honey Pop Corn. Not sure yet if there are other uses for the honey.

Edit: Sorry I just re-read your question. I am uncertain with that one but perhaps someone else knows. I am putting mine on the farm with all the flowers although I know bees in real life will use many crops to feed from.
