You can see exactly how much fertilizing time is left on a farm, by opening the extended toolbox and touching the tip of your cursor on the Manure Spreader icon. It shows 71 hours when you first fertilize, and the number goes down each hour. The only problem with this (a glitch) that they need to fix, is that when you get under one hour remaining, the minutes remaining display as hours instead of minutes.
