Hi Columbonet,
When you go to a job on a non-layered farm and are handed the new 5x5, you can just change it from Extended mode to highlight mode and it will work exactly the same size as a 16x16 tool. That way you don't have to go to the toolbox to change tools. Those you hire can do the same.

Hi columbonet,
When you have the tool in hand an icon of the tool shows in the lower right corner where the eye shows for other tools. Click on that and then you have 2 choices the Extend mode or the highlight mode.
