You can go offline at the market so that helps stop the hiring requests when you are there to sell.
It is very time consuming trying to sell items tho. Maybe there needs to be one for finished products and another for stuff that you need . Or little box where you can just scroll thru and check mark what you want to sell and sell all at one time. Having to scroll thru each time you sell one is a pain in the butt.
