Hi Kadin,
Trading Lifeline - Allows you to complete Quest Steps by trading goods with other farmers in the Market.
This will help if you need a basic ingredient that can be bought from another farmer (harvested crops, harvested animal products, chopped trees, fish, harvested flowers).
You can NOT buy finished products made in facilities from another farmer.
You are buying the ingredients from other farmers who can be your neighbors or strangers at the market.

Hi Kadin,
You have to get them to set up to sell them to you. How did you try to buy them?
Please provide your user ID which you can find at the bottom of your farms page.

I set it up in the Trading Warehouse under buying regular products. I wanted to buy Lemongrass, but it was sold to me and did not appear in the quest.

Hi Kadin,
No that won't work. You have to buy from an individual selling directly to you not through the trading warehouse. Ask one of your neighbors to sell you some.

I also did buy from neighbors. Then I went to the market thinking it had to be done there. Nothing shows up.

So a neighbor sent an offer to buy and I reviewed it and bought. What am I doing wrong?

I think I figured it out. The neighbor sent the request and I was able to get it. As they are selling to me instead of going through the market. Thank you
