One person this happened with added me as their neighbor, still grayed out.
But when I added them as my neighbor I was finally able to send their items.

Hi Grammie Ree,
You have to have them as a neighbor or buddy in your lists before you can help them with those. So that is why when you added them it shows the help notes.

They must be a buddy or neighbor, or I wouldn't be able to work their facilities, right?
Or maybe they have me on their list but they aren't on mine.. But I've never run into this before. Is this something new?

No It is not something new. If they are not your neighbor or buddy then you can not work their help notes even if you are theirs.

Very strange... I've been playing Farm Town since it started and never ran into this issue until just the past couple days.

Hi Grammie Ree,
If you go to anyone's farms who is not your neighbor or buddy then you will see the greyed out ingredients. You can only buy from them if they have something you need for a quest. You can not help them with help notes.

Hi Trudylynn,
I moved your post to the thread about the cooperative quests.

You have to click on help note and then drag it down to the ingredient you want to add it to. Don't try to hold down the mouse button. When you get it to the ingredient you want it on then click again.

i'm working on my late friend's co-op quest, and visiting her neighbors who have a blue dot, denoting that they play. while doing so i use the next arrow which works well unless one of the neighbors, who shows a blue dot but has no quests, interrupts my "strut" and i'm lost because i didn't pay attention to which neighbor i checked last....
what am i doing wrong?

Hi vonalm

I moved your post to the thread about Coop Quests in Help and Support.

Before starting checking neighbors with blue dot, do you click in one of them in the neighbors bar below the game screen and then click in Order By Cooperative Quests option?

When I order my neighbors bar that way, then if I get to someone who is already done with their quests, then I only get the message but I can continue clicking in the arrow to see the next neighbor's coop quests.
