Try putting some in storage, reload the game and uncheck a step and see if it stays.

You are not going to believe this but now my custom order will not even stay the way I have set it up... Never had problem like this before but I am still moving facilities into storage, so fingers crossed

If you are moving facilities to storage then yes the custom order will change as you remove them from the farms.

Okay I have moved 51 facilities so far to storage and still facilities are reticking themselves after I have stopped them to get them empty to move to storage, so I really think this is a glitch of some kind

Hi Rodkay,
It is not a glitch. You just have not gotten under the maximum for unticked items. If the facilities you are storing didn't have unticked items then those are not helping you. Also if you are stopping them unloading to empty them by unticking the facility it unticks all the products in it which just adds to the total instead of lowering it.

I don't understand the procure in quest, thought its says to get hired at marketplace for it, well hard to find someone there or procure. I need peppers but timing in fp2 stuffed up my quest farms, does that mean to ask someone to sell me? it but it does not and never has worked

Hi Amanda,
You have the employee lifeline for that quest which means you can work on others farms to get the peppers. Either you can get hired in the job market to harvest the peppers (which you have to harvest 10 times what you need. Or you can work for a neighbor for the same.


- Employee Lifeline - Allows you to complete Quest Steps by working for others in farms or facilities. The product bonuses you get by working for others will count toward your Quest Step.
This can help if you can get what you need by being hired to work on a farm or by working a facility to get the products made in that facility.

Examples:

If you needed wheat you can harvest wheat on another farmers farm, BUT you need to remember that you only get 10% of what you harvest so if you need 10x wheat, you need to harvest 100 x wheat on another farmers farm.

If the middle part of the quest (not the final step) required a product made in a facility that you do not own yet but a neighbour does, you can work their facility to gain that product for part of your quest.

Hi Amanda,
You can not procure (buy) with the employee lifeline. For crops you have to get them through working for someone else if you don't have any on your own farms. For products from facilities you have to get those by working a neighbor or buddy's facilities or produce in your own facility.
