Hey!

How do I unblock the Farmtown app on Facebook? They've changed their layout or set-up or something, so that I can't get to the "Blocked List" the way they say to get to it, so I can no longer unblock Farmtown the way they say to. So, what's the way to do it now? TIA

Is there a way to play(this version of) Farmtown that doesn't involve Facebook? I have several friends who'd like to play, or at least check it out, but they're not on Facebook, and aren't interested in signing up, even just for Farmtown. TIA

Your posts were moved to the thread for your problem.

At this moment the only way to play the game is through Facebook.

We know Facebook changed the way to unblock apps. as you dont get a list for the blocked apps.
When you click in your facebook profile picture in the upper right corner, then click in Settings.
Then click in Apps and websites on the left column.

You will see a list of apps.
Scroll down, you should get "View removed apps and websites" in blue letters.
Click there and see if you can see Farm Town.

After unblocked the game, then it could take a while for Facebook to add it back. It could be some hours or a few days.

To check if the game was added back, go to your facebook home page and click in Games in the left column.
Then click in Web games and use the search box. Type Farm Town and once is added back you will see it and the blue button Play Now.

Hi. Thanks for your detailed reply. I was able to get as far as being able to see Farm Town in the "Removed Apps and Websites" page. But there was nothing there about unblocking it, just info on how to contact them if I wanted to be sure they'd deleted all my info.

So, how do I unblock Farm Town, since there's nothing to click on there, no instructions, nothing about unblocking?

Have you tried clicking on the Play Farm Town button at the top of the forum?

If that hasn't worked either, try clicking on this link which will take you to Facebooks games activity:
https://www.facebook.com/games/activity

Then top right you should see a search box.
Type in Farm Town
When you see the Farm Town logo with a pig on it, click on it and you should see Play Now
If you click on that, it should take you to the game.

Hi Tiger!

Because I blocked farmtown, clicking on the "play game" link at the top of the page takes me to a page that says This Page Isn't Available. And, since I have it blocked, it also doesn't show up in the search feature; there's no pig icon anywhere to be seen. Basically, until I manage to get it unblocked, my facebook account is going to act like FarmTown doesn't exist.

Any suggestions?

I hope it's okay to jump in with this, but I helped someone solve this problem recently. On your Facebook settings, left hand side, choose Blocking. On the right, scroll down a bit to Block Apps. Click Edit, then click the + Add to blocked list. Type Farm (that's enough). Farm Town should show up with an option to unblock.

The person that I helped got access fairly quickly.

Although that is pretty much the instructions Facebook shows to everyone I'm afraid that it's not always the case. Some users won't find the app by searching for it or they don't have an Unblock option, which is why you will sometimes see us suggest other methods to try to unblock the game.
