What is that, you can't buy or harvest what you need. It says get from friends or receive as a gift from neighbors. BUT none of what I need can be given as a gift. For instance I needed coconut. NOT a tree, just coconuts. Not an option as a gift. Can we consider expanding the gifts to products we need?

The gift lifeline allows you to request for gifts or ingredients and your friends can sent them, once they are in your red gift box you have to store them to count into your quest. You can ask for them using a factory that uses that ingredient to make one of its products.

For example, if you need coconuts, you can open the Soft Drink factory and then click in the + icon for "coconut water" and ask for ingredients. Your friends will send them to you, you will see them in your gift box and you have to store them.

Hi Peeps, question for you all. Hope you'll understand what i am trying to figure out. I know Farm Town is 5 hours behind England. But what I want to know what State of America you are in for the future just in case someone asks me and they aren't registered to here, or not sure where to look etc. I always thought that you are in California but that doesn't seem to be the case according to my mobile phone. I know you are EST I believe too right?? Then again I've got California at 13:29 and Cornwall, UK at 18:29 so that is 5 hours. Even I'm confused now lol.

The devs are in Miami, Florida. The game servers are in Dallas, Texas.

I just had the weirdest thing happen.. !! I had a yellow stickie on a couple items in my co-quests and when I checked, there is a photo of some woman, identified only as "a friend" who sold them to me... I couldn't place her, so looked all through my neighbors.. not there.. then looked all through ALL the 400 FT friends and she's NOT THERE!!! How could someone I do not know, a FT stranger, sell me stuff in my quests???

Perhaps she is not your friend/neighbor up now, possible you deleted her, but she has you as neighbor so she is able to sell you products.

This same thing happens when you receive a ship from a Friend.
