Default What types of Facilities are there?

There are Production Facilities. These are where you make products which you can sell at market to make coins. These can be worked by friends.

There are Non Workable Facilities. These use your coins to produce a product which you can use to make other products in Production Facilities. These can NOT be worked by friends.

There are Service Facilities. These do not produce any goods but instead are where you can stock products that have been made in Production Facilities. When you cash these out, you will earn about 50% more profit than just selling them at market. These can be worked by friends.

When you buy a new facility and place it on your farm you will see an extra popup with information on how to use it. This popup will no stop showing up for levels over 200:

Some Production and Service Facilities are classified as "Funeral" and "Religious Facilities". They still produce or stock products and friends can work them, as long as they have not opted out of doing them, but you can not post facility work from these. If you want to opt out of working those facilities there is an option in your game Preferences for them, remove the check marks for "Skip Funeral Facilities" and "Skip Religious Facilities".
The Funeral and Religious Facilities are :
  • Funeral Supplies Factory
  • Funeral Home
  • Buddhist Supplies Factory
  • Buddha Shop
  • Fortune Teller Supplies Factory
  • Fortune Teller Wagon

The list of all the Non-Workable Facilities in Farm Town are in this Chapter post #14
The lists of Production Facilities in Farm Town are in Chapter 13.1 List of Production Facilities
The lists of Service Facilities in Farm Town are in Chapter 13.2 List of Service Facilities

There is also a Super Facility. This feature will be explained later in this Chapter.

Is there a Limit on how many Facilities I can put on a farm?

Yes. There are 2 limits.

The first limit is that you can only have one of each type of facility on a farm, not multiples of the same facility.

The exception to this rule is where there are 2 different facilities that produce the same products, one just produces the products faster than the other, you may have one of each of those on a farm. For example these facilities can be on the same farm:

  • Bakery and Turbo Bakery
  • Bee Farm and Turbo Bee Farm
  • Cinnamon Factory and Turbo Cinnamon Factory
  • Dairy Processing Plant and Turbo Dairy Processing Plant
  • Fish Farming Plant and Turbo Fish Farming Plant
  • Ink and Pigments Factory and Turbo Ink and Pigments Factory
  • Metal Mill and Turbo Metal Mill
  • Mineral Mine and Turbo Mineral Mine
  • Oil Factory and Turbo Oil Factory
  • Oil Pump and Offshore Oil Rig
  • Oil Refinery and Turbo Oil Refinery
  • Open-Pit Mine and Turbo Open-Pit Mine
  • Paper Mill and Turbo Paper Mill
  • Petrochemical Plant and Turbo Petrochemical Plant
  • Red Windmill and Stone Windmill
  • Rubber Factory and Turbo Rubber Factory
  • Sawmill and Turbo Sawmill
  • Sugar Refinery and Turbo Sugar Refinery
  • Textile and Spinning Mill and Turbo Textile and Spinning Mill
  • Watermill and Turbo Watermill

NOTE: You can not do this with the Animal sheds. There are regular animal sheds and super animal sheds. Generally you can harvest super animal sheds more often than a regular animal shed. For example one regular wool shed OR one super wool shed, not both of them.

WARNING! Be careful if you decide to move your facilities to a different farm that you do not place 2 identical facilities on the same farm. There is no warning popup message to tell you that you are placing another facility on the farm that is already there when you are moving them from your Item storage to the farm. You only get that warning when buying a new facility.

If you did place identical facilities on the same farm, only one of them produces or stock items. The others behave as decoration.

You will not be able to see that you have multiples of the same facility on the same farm in the Facility Manager as only one of them is actually producing or stocking items.

For Farm Cash facilities ONLY - currently there is no warning for duplicated coin facilities. When you go to a farm that has more than one of the same Farm Cash facility on it you will see a warning popup telling you which facilities you have more than one of on the farm you are on.

This is an example of the message:
The Don't tell me again in this session check box allows you to disable the pop up for the session. This means that if you were not to move the duplicate facilities to other farms at that time, you won't see message again until you reload the game and go to a farm that has duplicate facilities on it.

If you were to click the red X it just closes the message and you can continue what you were doing.

When you click the green check mark.....
  • If you already have those types of facilities showing in your game preferences and anything else like crops, trees etc, the game will hide anything showing and then show you just the facilities that you have multiples of on that farm so they are easy for you to spot.

  • If you don't have those types of facilities check marked to show in your preferences. It will show you a warning message asking you if you want to show them. Clicking the red X closes the window and you can carry on with what you were doing. If you click the green check mark, the game will automatically add a check mark to that setting in your preferences and remove the check marks for everything else that you may have set to show, then show you just the facilities that you have multiples of on that farm so they are easy for you to spot. Example of the warning:

In the following picture, the facilities are not far from each other. If you don't see them in view, make sure you look all over the entire farm all the way to the edges.

To show the other items again, click on Show Items bottom right of your game screen. The game will then load everything that is on that farm.

If you refresh the farm or go to another farm the settings will revert to what you had them set to plus the facilities if you did not already have them showing.

When you try to store the duplicate facility, you will see the normal warning about loss of products asking you to confirm that you want to do this. When it's a duplicate facility, you don't actually lose any products. It's not producing or stocking anything. Duplicates behave as decor, what the second one does is just copies the information from the first one so it doesn't matter which one you look in, they will both have the same information.

As long as you are leaving one of them on the farm, you can store the duplicates without losing the products from the one left on the farm. It does not matter which one of them you store. Example of the warning:

So if you move a lot of facilities to other farms it's always worth leaving the farm and returning to it to see if you get any warning so you know if there is a problem with having duplicate Farm Cash facilities on that farm.

Duplicate coin facilities - If you think you may have more than one of a coin facility on a farm, you know the name of the facility and you want to check, you can use the Search tool in your tool box:

  1. Go to the farm where you think the duplicate facilities are.

  2. You need to have a check mark added to Show Regular Facilities and/or Show Service Facilities in your game preferences to see them. Non-workable facilities show up under the Regular Facilities selection.

  3. Open your toolbox and click on the on the search tool.

  4. A search box will open.

  5. Type in the name of the facility you are looking for.

  6. Select Hide Non-Matching Items

  7. Click the green check mark and then only the items meeting your search criteria will show.

The second limit is the total amount of facilities you can have on one farm. This limit is between 350 and 400.However, that amount can also be affected by how much production you have in those facilities that have not been stored.
If you see a message telling you that you have too many facilities on a farm, the first thing we suggest is to store all production from those facilities and cash out the service facilities, then refresh farm and see if the message goes away.

If the message clears, do NOT not add any more facilities to that farm and remember to store products and cash out regularly.

If the message comes back, store all production, cash out the service facilities and move some facilities to another farm. You may want to wait until the facilities are empty so that you do not lose any products. If you store a facility that still has pending production you will see a warning popup message telling you that.

NOTE: Train locomotives and their long cars also count as part of this limit, one for each locomotive and one for each long car, so you need to take all of those trains and long cars into account as well, if you have the trains on the same farms your facilities are on.

When you have more than one farm there is a quick way to find out how many facilities of each type ( regular facilities that can be worked, no-workable facilities, service facilities) you have on a farm. This does not include the trains in the count. You can find information on how to do that later in this chapter or you can click this link: What is Show Facility Info?

Default How do i find out what a Facility needs before I buy it?

Click on the Store icon, then click on the **Facilities** section to view all the facilities in Farm Town.

There are two filters top right of the window...

The Funnel icon when clicked on gives you the following options:
  • All
  • Current Level Only
  • Owned
  • Not Owned
  • Not In This Farm
  • Regular Facilities
  • Service Facilities
  • Animal Facilities

The A-Z icon when clicked on gives you these options:
  • Level Required
  • Alphabetically
  • Cost

When you have made your selections, either scroll through the facilities using the scroll bar to the right of the Store...

OR if you know the name of the facility you are interested in click in the search box at the top, and enter the name and it will pop into view.

In each facility box, top right, is a question mark. This is an example of a few of the facilities. The question mark is indicated with the red arrow.

Production (regular) Facilities:
Using the Red Windmill as an example, if you click the question mark it will show you pictures of the products it makes.

Top right of that window is the picture of the facility those products are made in. Just above that is the start tool for that facility (you're not going to need that until you get quite a few facilities and you want to start all products faster. Start and Load tools are explained in Chapter 21: Tools)

If you mouseover the pictures of the products, facility and the tool you will see the name of the product and how much you have stored, the name of the facility and the name of the tool for that facility. If you own the facility or tool you will also see that information. NOTE:Tools must be placed in your Item storage for the game to be able to see you own them. Facillites can be either on your farm or in storage. Examples:

If you would like more detail than that shows you can use the Ingredient Planner - also referred to as the IP

To know what is needed to make ALL the products in the red windmill, click on the blue link at the top of the window that says "See ingredient planner for the Red Windmill" and it will show you what is needed.
The Ingredient Planner can also be accessed from the Facility Manager to view all or specific facilities that you have on your farm, a selection of farms, or all of them depending on the funnel filters you chose in the Facility Manager. It looks like this:
The filters at the top of the Ingredient Planner allow you to set the Ingredient Planner according to what you want to see.

"15 days", "By Required" is what is needed to fill the facility to 100%.

The Include Disabled Products can be used when you own the start or load tools for the facility. When you own those you then have the ability to prevent a product from being made or stocked and can then decide whether or not to include what is needed for the doisabled products when you are checking the IP (Ingredient Planner)

These are examples of what you could see:

In the example below, the figures in black are what is required, the figures in red are what you don't have and need (First picture on the left is Wheat so in the example 7920 is what is needed and the user doesn't have any wheat so it shows 7920 in brackets in red:

In this example below, the user has enough ingredients. First picture on the left is Rye, figure just below the crop is what is required 720. The figure below that (smaller size font) is what the user will have left which is 34382.

When you have enough ingredients like this example shows, a quick way to know the total amount you have without having to add the 2 figures together is to mouseover the ingredient and it will tell you.

To go back to the previous screen, click the arrow top left of the window.

If you want to know what an individual item needs to make it, click on the picture of that item.
Click on the picture of the flour and it will show you what is needed to make flour.

At the top of that window you will see another link you can click on "See what to make with Flour" that will tell you what you can make with flour and again hovering over the pictures and clicking on them will give you more information about those products. The following picture shows you some of the products that can be made with Flour.

Animal Sheds:
Using the Dairy Shed as an example. When you click the ? on an animal shed it will show you what products you can get when it's harvested.
Mouse over the pictures and it will tell you what it is and how many you have stored.
Clicking on the product picture will tell you what animal you need to put in the shed to get it.

The link at the top of the window will tell you what you can make with it. For full details on animals and the buildings needed to harvest them, go to Chapter 12 - Animals.

Service Facilities:
Using the Supermarket as an example: When you click the ? on a service facility it will show you what products you can stock in it.

Top right of that window is the picture of the facility they are stocked in. Just above that is the load tool for that facility (you're not going to need that until you get quite a few facilities and you want to load all products faster. Start and Load tools are explained in Chapter 21: Tools)

To know what is needed to Stock ALL the products in the supermarket, click on the blue link at the top of the window that says "See stock planner for the Supermarket" and it will show you what is needed. This is an example of what you could see.

Again, hovering over each picture will tell you what it is. The filters at the top allow you to set the Ingredient Planner according to what you want to see.

"15 days", "By Required" is what is needed to fill the facility to 100%.

The large figure in black is how many are required. The small figure in black is what you will have left after stocking the facility. If you see a figure in brackets in red, that is the amount you don't have in storage that you need to get.

To go back to the previous screen click the arrow at the top of left of the window.

If you are short on a few products and you want to know what a particular item needs to make it, click on the picture of the item.
Clicking on the picture of the frozen vegetables will tell you what is needed to make it and top right of the window it will show you which facility you can make it in.

Again, mouse over the pictures to get more information.
Clicking on the picture of the facility will then show you what else that facility makes.

Default How do i use the facilities?

There are 2 ways to access your Facilities, either from the facility on the farm or via the Facility Manager.

Via a Facility:

Click on the Facility on your farm, and select "Show Facility Details"

Production facilities
The window is divided into two sections:
  • Things To Produce : Here you will find the list of items you can produce in this facility. Each product is outlined and it gives the size of the batch produced (Batch of xx units), the time it will take to make that batch (Ready in xx mins), the selling price for a single unit (Sell Unit for xxx) and the selling price for the whole batch (Batch for xxxx).

If you click the Help icon, you will be shown what is needed to make one batch of that item. At the top of that window if the finished product can be used to make something else there will be a link saying "See what to make with....". If it can be used to stock a service facility there will be a link saying "See what facilities to stock with....". These links can be clicked on to give you more information. When you mouse over any picture it will give you the name of the item. Clicking on a picture gives you more information about that item. To go back to previous screens click on the arrow at the top left of the window.

Clicking on the plus sign lets you ask for ingredients, from your friends, to make that product. These requests will to those that have you as a Neighbour or as a Buddy on the Other Wall Requests page. You will not see your own posts there. You need to be Level 30 before you can request ingredients.

When you are sent the ingredients, they go to your gift box, when you store them they get sent to your storage. You can request 5 items in 12 hours. The amount you can receive from ingredients, in coin value, is the same as bonus requests. See How often can i post/collect a bonus? for your limit.

    Posting options:
If you ONLY want to post your request to Other Wall Requests remove the check mark from the Post to request to Facebook box before clicking on the green check mark. Your request will only post to Other Wall Requests.

If you want to post your request to Facebook AND Other Wall Requests add the check mark to the Post request to Facebook box before clicking on the green check mark.
You will then see a 2nd popup. Click the green check mark and you will see the Facebook posting box. Click on the blue Post to Facebook button to post to Facebook. Your request will also post to Other Wall Requests.
If you clicked on the red X instead to cancel posting to Facebook you request will still post to Other Wall Requests.

When a facility is not at maximum capacity, which can be easier to notice if you own the Start All tools for starting batches faster and when using the Facility Manager you can also request ingredients when you are completely out of an ingredient needed to make a product.

    Example:

This farmer has just filled all their regular facilities using the Start All at the top of the Facility Manager. They own all the tools to be able to use that button.
If you do not own the Turbo Start All tools, you can also use the Start All on an Individual facility if you own the non-turbo version of that tool to start all your batches in one facility at a time.

After starting all the batches in their facilities they can see that the Romanian Restaurant is not at 100% production in the Facility Manager as the percentage shown next to Utilization is lower than 100% and that the Start All button is greyed out.

Open the facility and click on all of the Start Batch buttons.
When you are out of ingredients to make a specific product, you are automatically shown a popup with information on what that is.
This farmer is shown that they are out of cow trotters to make Tripe Soup.

To request those ingredients, first decide if you also want to post it to Facebook as well as Other Wall Requests.

If you do NOT want to post to Facebook, make sure the check mark is REMOVED next to the Post Request to Facebook option. Then click the green check mark and your request will show up to your farming friends in their Other Wall Requests page.

If you DO want to post to Facebook, make sure the check mark is ADDED next to the Post Request to Facebook option. Then click the green check mark. You will then be able to both Post to Facebook AND and your request will show up to your farming friends in their Other Wall Requests page.

  • To make the product: Click on "Start Batch" to make a single batch of that item. If you want to start more than that you can click on the +10 or +30 to start multiple batches. These will show provided you have enough ingredients to make more than one batch.

If you do not have enough ingredients to make a batch, when you click "Start Batch" you will see a popup telling you what is ingredient is missing.

To use the "All" button you need a Start tool for the facility. If you click on "All" and don't own the tool needed you will see a popup telling you which one you need. Start/load tools are listed in Chapter 21: Tools

  • What's Pending : To see the progress of what is being made in your facility you need to click on the "What's Pending" tab, it will turn orange. This section provides information on current productions at the facility, how many are waiting and how many are ready to be transferred to your storage for sale or use in another facility. Several different facilities may be in production simultaneously, but the same type of facility (ie. the windmill) can produce only the one batch at a time. This is an example of what you could see in the red windmill...

When you have a number showing next to "Done" that is how many products have been made. To Store them hover your mouse over the product box and "Store" will appear, click on "Store" and your products will be sent to your Harvests & Products section of Storage.

Service Facilities

The window is divided into two sections:
  • Required Supplies: This is where you can load your products into the facility. It shows you how long it will take for each batch to be used. This is an example of what you could see in the supermarket.

If you click the Help icon, you will be shown what is needed to make one batch of that item. Top right of the window will show you a picture of the facility where it can be made. Hover over that picture and it will tell you the name of the facility it's made in. If you then click on the picture of the facility it will tell you what other products it also makes. To go back to previous screens click the arrow top left of the window.

Note: There is no plus sign for requesting ingredients, in service facilities. This is because they do not make any goods, they only use goods already made and stored from other facilities which earn you more coins by cashing out than selling at market. If you need ingredients to make an item needed for the service facility you will need to do that from the facility that makes the product.

To Load products into a Service facility: Click "Load Batch" to load a single batch. If you have more products to load you can use the +10 and +30 to load multiple batches. These will show provided you have enough products to load more than one batch.

If you do not have enough products to load, when you click "Load Batch" you will see a popup telling you the name of the product and how many are missing.

To use the "All" button you need a Load tool for the facility. If you click on "All" and don't own the tool needed you will see a popup telling you which one you need. Start/Load tools are explained in Chapter 21: Tools

  • What's In Stock: To see the progress of what is being used in your service facility you need to click on the "What's Pending" tab, it will turn orange. This will show you what you have stocked, how many have been used and how long until the next batch is used.

This is also where you "Cash Out" your service facility to receive the coins made from using the products. Click the blue "Cash Out" button to receive your coins. NOTE: You must have Fuel in order to Cash Out.

For Full details on how to use and find a facility in the Facility Manager Click Here

There are lists of where products are used and stocked, if you need them, in the Game Guide Chapter 27: Ingredients of Farm Town.

Default Can I produce more with two of the same facilities?

Yes. You can have more than one of the same facilities, but they must be on separate farms from each other.

If you have two on the same one farm, the second one will look like it is making products because it copies the information in the other one, but when you store from them, you are only getting products from one of them.

You could have 5 dairy processing facilities, one on farm 1, one on farm 2, one on farm 3 and so on.

If you try to buy a facilty and already have one on that farm you will see a warning pop up. This is an example of one...
If you have a lot of facilities on a farm and are not sure which ones you have or don't have on that farm, you can do the following:
  • Open the Store
  • Click on "**Facilities**
  • Click on the Funnel top right of the window and choose either "Owned", "Not Owned" or "Not in this Farm"

WARNING! If you are going to move a facility to another farm, make sure there is no pending production left in it, and you have stored the products BEFORE you move it to another farm or you will lose both what it is making and what you have not stored! The only time you will be warned is if you manually store the facility by clicking on it on your farm and clicking on "Add to Storage". If you use another method to store the facility like the "Add Item to Storage Tool" or the "Tower Crane" you will not see the warning. This is an example of the message...

IMPORTANT: If you are taking part in the Neighbourhood Chains Contest and the facility is listed for the contest, do not store the facility until the contest is over or you will abandon the contest. You will first see the generic warning as shown above, and then a second warning that the facility is in the contest.

If you ignore the message and click the green check mark you will store the facility and abandon the contest.

Example of the NCC warning:

Default Can i produce more with large boxes of crops?

No.

For Example: To produce a batch of flour, it takes 10 units of wheat. It will require 10 whether the units are "large" or not - Remember if you're just selling the crops then you'll gain more money at market if they're large. Boxes of crops appear "large" if you hired someone else to harvest them, rather than harvesting them yourself.

This example shows the regular size boxes of wheat on the left and the large size boxes of wheat on the right.

For productions to be used in your facilities you can harvest them yourself or employ others, it makes no difference if you're going to use them in your facilities. For information on when you will get a regular size box and or a large size box see What are the benefits of hiring someone to work at your farm?

Default Which facilities have a switch view?

The following facilities have a different view. To change the look of the facility, find it on your farm and click on it and choose "Switch View" from the menu. The alternative will be shown and then you place the facility back down on your farm. To change it again just click on "Switch View" again.

  • Chocolate Factory
  • Dairy Processing Plant
  • Food Preserves Factory
  • Ice Cream Factory
  • Ice Cream Shop
  • Juice Factory
  • Oil Factory
  • Oil Refinery
  • Sandwich Restaurant
  • Snack Factory
  • Stables - not currently working, not available on super stables.

Default How do i Produce Faster or Refer Clients?

How to "Produce Faster" (production/regular facilities) or "Refer Clients" (service facilities) is explained in Chapter 10 Hiring.

Click on Can I hire someone to work my Factories or Service Facilities? to be taken to that post.

Remember - You can not post for help with facilities from Non-Workable Facilities.

Also: Posting for help from inside the funeral or religious facilities has been disabled. This is so people don’t use those facilities to post and avoid other people marking those posts as offensive which can negatively impact the game. Just use any other facility to ask for help.

Default Facility Manager

The Facility Manager is a tool in your Yellow Toolbox to make it easier to navigate and manage your facilities. You can use the Facility Manager to access all your facilities on all your farms, current farm or a selection of them. It is much easier and faster than going from farm to farm and opening each individual facility to start/load products in your facilities or harvest animal sheds.

Never place identical facilities on the same farm! Only one of them will produce or stock items. The others will behave as decoration and just copies the information from the first one so that it doesn't matter which one you look in to find out any information you may want. Due to this the duplicates do NOT show up in the Facility Manager! You will only see one per farm.

This is an example of what you could see in the Facility Manager:

The icon top left of the Facility Manager can be grey or yellow in colour.
This is to do with the Farm Pass Feature of the Game. If you would like details on that feature please click on this link:
https://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=658742

Top right of the Facility Manager you will see several more icons.
These help you with your facilities and how you wish to view them in the Facility Manager.

The Ingredient planner when you click on it will open a new window. From there you can see what you need to supply your facilities and what is missing according to the filters you choose. To set it for one full run select "15days" in the middle filter. You can change the various filters according to what you want to see. Once you have made your choices click "Update".
Example of when you are short of an item and when you are not:
- 720 Rye required, none in stock so 720 required.
- 720 Rye required, the figure below that is what will be left after filling which is 34382. If you want the figure for what is in stock without filling just mouseover the item and it will tell you.

The Ingredient Planner (IP) is explained in more detail earlier in this chapter. If you would like to view that again click on this link: https://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showth...94#post6298294

The Search icon will let you search for a specific facility and will place it in the viewing area.
Use the arrows to scroll up or down if you have a few that meet your search criteria.
You can also type in more than one facility name separated by a comma and then use the arrows to scroll through them.

The Funnel icon will bring up the Facility Filter

In this box you can choose which type of facilites the Facility Manager will show you and which farms.

Facility Status:

You can chose between All Facilities and Active Facilities.
Active Facilities are facilities that have at least one product with Pending or Done productions.

Facility Location:
  • All Farms
  • Current Farm - when selected this will only show you the facilities on the farm you are on. If you go to another farm, this will change to showing the facilities on that farm.
  • Group of Farms - when selected shows you the facilities on all of the farms you selected no matter which farm you are on. To use this option, after selecting Group of Farms the Select button under it will turn blue. Click on Select and a window will open showing you all your farms. Add a check mark to the box for each of the farms you want to see in the Facility Manager and then click the green check mark to save the setting.

Facility Type:

The drop down arrow for "Regular Facilities" will let you choose from:

All
Non-Workable by Friends
Workable by Friends
Part of the NCC
Part of a Chain
Restaurants
Producing Common Ingredients - includes all facilities that produce at least one common ingredient. Example: The Brewery is included because the FarmTown Beer is a common ingredient but the Art Studio is not included because the Leather Mask is not a common ingredient.
Producing Ingredients - includes all facilities that produce at least one product that can be used as an ingredient, ie: the Art Studio is included because the Leather Mask can be used as an ingredient to make stick masks

Consuming Specific Ingredient - When selected, a new dropdown arrow will be added for you to select a specific ingredient, then the Facility Manager will only show those facilities that produce at least one product consuming that specific ingredient.

This filter works best if you only have Regular facilities checked in the Facility Type section. In this example, the crop Reed is being used:

When the green check mark is clicked, as this farmer has the Cheese Making Supplies Factory on their farm and Reed is currently only used to make the Reed Cheese Mat, just that facility shows in the Facility Manager:

NOTE: This filter ignores any disabled products, so if the Reed Cheese Mat was disabled in that facility (check mark removed for making that product), even though that is the only product that uses Reed at this time, it will still show you that facility. This allows you to check if you disabled that product intentionally.

Containing Disabled products - this will allow you to quickly locate those facilities with temporarily disabled products so you can enable them again
Super Facilities - if you deselect Animal Buildings and Service Facilities and select this for Regular Facilities, it will filter the Facility Manager to just Super Facilities.
FarmCash Facilities - will show you the facilities that you bought with Farm Cash, that are on your farms, not in storage.
Coins Facilities - will show you the facilities that you bought using coins, that are on your farms, not in storage.
Disabled Facilities - will show you any facilites that you have disabled by removing the check mark on the facility. You only have the option to disable a facility when you own the start or load tool for that facility.

The drop down arrow for "Service Facilities" will let you choose from:
All
Part of the NCC
Part of a Chain
Containing Disabled products
FarmCash Facilities - will show you the facilities that you bought with Farm Cash, that are on your farms, not in storage.
Coins Facilities - will show you the facilities that you bought using coins, that are on your farms, not in storage.
Disabled Facilities - will show you any facilites that you have disabled by removing the check mark on the facility. You only have the option to disable a facility when you own the start or load tool for that facility.

The A-Z icon will allow you to sort your facilites by:
Alphabetically : Alphabetical order
Production Chain : will sort the facilities in such a way that will allow you to work continuously from top to bottom, as facilities with primary ingredients are on top, when you get to the complex facilities at the bottom you will have stored all the primary ingredients already required for these complex facilities.
Done : will sort to the facilites that have finished products.
Utilization : will sort the facilities with the most in production first down to the least. This is useful if you wish to see any facilites not at 100% production. You can scroll down to the bottom of the list and see what is not at 100%.
Farm Number : will order your facilites from farm 1 onwards.
Custom Order : will allow you to view your facilites in the order you choose. Select that option and you will see a new icon appear top right of the Facility Manager
Click on the icon and it will bring up a new window showing you all your facilites.
If you have a lot of facilitites there will be a scroll bar to the right which you can use to scroll through all the pages.

There are several ways to find and order your facilites:

If you can immediately see the facility on the first page you can left click and hold the button down on your mouse, then drag the facility to another spot. Release the left click to set the facility down.

OR you can click on a facility and use the options to move the facility. The options are:
  • Send to top: will move the facility to the top of the list
  • Send to bottom: will move the facility to the bottom of the list
  • Remember this Facility: this will temporarily remember the facility by adding it to the facility bar at the bottom of the window.

You can have up to 10 facilities in the bar.
Then you can scroll to the page where you want to move the remembered facilities.
To move a facility in the facility bar, just click on the facility in the facility bar and it will be placed into view and you can then click on it and drag it to a specific place.
When you have finished moving facilites in the custom order, click the green check mark bottom right of the window to save your changes.
If the facility is not on the first page you can use the Search icon top right of the custom window to find a specific facility. You can also type in more than one facility name separated by a comma and then use the arrows to scroll through them.

In each Facility box is a question mark. Clicking on this will open the help menu showing what products the facility makes. Top right of that window is a picture of the facility, if you hover over that it will tell you the name of the facility and how many owned. Just above that is the picture of a tool, this tool is the start all or load all tool for that facility. Hovering over the tool will tell you the name of the tool. The blue link at the top of the window will take you to the ingredient planner, or if it's a service, the stock planner. Click on a the picture of a product to see what it needs to make it and if it's used elsewhere there will be another link you can click telling you where it's used or stocked. Each time you click either a product or a link you can click the back arrow to go back to the previous window.

The Five Blue Buttons located at the top of the Facility Manager require owning tools to use them.

The information underneath those 5 blue buttons tells you how much is pending and done in all of the facilities you own, your Diversification Rank and Best (Best Diversification Rank so far).

In the picture below there is a tiny green Question mark next to Best which we have indicated with a red arrow.

When you click on that question mark it will show you information on how your Diversification Rank is calculated.

Harvest All : Allows you to harvest all animals in all farms related to the tool you own, with one click. The tools required to harvest ALL animals are Milking Station, Shearing and Cutting set, Egg Collector, Manure Collector (Note: you cannot harvest manure from pigs until you own a manure spreader as the manure harvested from pigs gets stored with the manure spreader.).

Store All : Allows you to store all products in all facilites for the tools that you own, with one click. The Tool required for ALL facilites is the Purple Forklift.

Start All : Allows you to start all productions in all facilites related to the tools you own, with one click. The tools required to start ALL facilities are Turbo bottling machine, Turbo drive thru system, Turbo tables and chairs, Turbo mixer, Turbo belt dryer, Turbo loader, Turbo conveyors, Turbo packaging machine, Turbo workbenches, Turbo mobile utility carts, Turbo Ordering Station.
When you click on the Start All there is also information at the bottom of the box that tells you how long ago you last posted a request to your freinds to work your Regular Facilities. In this example the farmer posted a request 2 hrs 51 min ago:
Load All : Allows you to load all products in all service facilities related to the tools you own, with one click. The tools required are the Turbo Checkout Station and the Turbo Manual Lift Truck.
When you click on the Load All there is also information at the bottom of the box that tells you how long ago you last posted a request to your friends to work your Service Facilities. In this example the farmer posted a request 2 hrs 51 min ago: :
Cash Out All : Allows you to cash out ALL service facilites for the tools you own, with one click. The tool to Cash Out ALL of the facilites is the Armored Truck. You also need fuel to cash out service facilities.

To find out which tools work with which facilites check out the Game Guide Chapter 21: Tools For the turbo tools look for the regular tool and the turbo tool will be listed in the same post. So for "Turbo bottling machine" look in the "bottling machine" post.

After you have finished loading your facilites, you can also post your requests for your friends to work your regular facilites or service facilities from the Facility Manager, instead of finding the facility on your farm and opening it. Use the search icon or use the scroll bar in the Facility Manager, to search for the facility you wish to post from, hover your mouse over the box it is in, and then click the "Open" button.

For Regular facilities you then click on the "Whats Pending Tab" and then "Produce Faster".

For Service facilites you open the facility and then click on the "What's In Stock" tab and then "Get More Clients".

You only need to post from one regular facility and one service facility. All facilities with work, on all farms can be worked from just those two posts. If you have never posted work requests before or need further details please click on Can I hire someone to work my Factories or Service Facilities?

The CHECK BOXES - IMPORTANT INFORMTION:

The check box located ON each facility:
Removing the check mark, indicated on the Windmill picture below, will prevent any products in that specific facility on that specific farm from starting using the Start All blue button at the top of the Facility Manager.

The added check mark allows all products to be started in that facility. This only affects that specific facility and not the rest of them if you own more of that facility on other farms.

With Service Facilities removing the check mark on the facility will prevent any products in that specific facility on that specific farm from loading using the Load All blue button at the top of the Facility Manager.
.

When you own the Start All tool for a facility there is also a check box on each product inside the facility which can be useful when you don't want to make everything in a facility but you still need to make the rest of the products and still and want to use the Start All at the top of the Facility Manager:
To make all products in a Facility there must be a check mark added in the box for that product.

Removing the check mark on a product WILL prevent not only the product in that facility from being made but when you own more than one of the same facility it ALSO removes the check mark from that product in all of them on all farms.

For example: If you removed the check mark to make Flour in one windmill and used the Start All at the top of the Facility Manager it will not make any flour in any of the windmills (Red Windmill that cost coins AND the Stone Windmill that costs Farm Cash and any duplicates of those that you own).
Add the check mark back when you want to start making that product again.
If you wanted to make some flour in some of the windmills you own then you would need to start them manually by opening a windmill and clicking on one of the blue buttons on the flour to start the batches in that specific facility.

When you own the Load All tool for a facility removing a check mark on a product prevents that product from loading in that facility and any duplicates of that facility that you own.

NOTE: When a product can be loaded into more than one different Service Facility removing the check mark ALSO removes the check mark from loading that product into all of the different service facilities that it can be loaded into.

For example: Crema Catalana which is made in the Spanish Restaurant can be loaded into both the Cruise Ship and the Taste of Spain. If you remove the check mark from that product in either the Cruise Ship OR Taste of Spain it also removes the check marks from that product in both of them AND all the other facilities of that type that you may have on other farms, until you add the check mark back.
.

Remember - the check marks in boxes only affects what the blue buttons at the top of the Facility Manager will do, you can still manually start products in each facility if you wish.

Default What is Show Facility Info?

What is Show Facility Info? When you have more than one farm, this is an easy way to allow you to know how many facilities you have, of each type, on each of your farms. (Factories Workable, Factories Non-Workable, Services, Animal buildings).

Why do I need to know this? Currently you are limited to between 350 and 400 facilities per farm, but this amount can be less as it also depends on how many products you have done in your facilities that you have not stored, OR it can be a combination of both. Note: Dispatched trains and their long cars also count as part of this limit, 1 per locomotive, 1 per long car so you need to take this into account if you have both facilities and trains on a farm.

If you see a message saying "You have too many facilities on this farm, please move some of them to another farm to avoid losing productions" you have reached your limit for facilities on that farm, what you need to do is try storing all the products that are done. If that does not clear the message you will have to move some facilities and/or trains to other farms. Remember, storing a facility will lose the pending and done products in that facility so you may want to wait until production is finished and stored before you move it to another farm. If you are taking part in the Neighbourhood Chains Contest and the facility is listed for the contest, do not store the facility until the contest is over or you will abandon the contest. You will only see the generic warning about storing a facility if you manually store it by clicking on the facility on your farm and using "Add to Storage".

Where do I find Show Facility Info? When you have more than one farm, you will see a green grid top left of your game screen titled Show Names. Each green box below that represents one of your farms.

If you click on "Show Names" then, at the bottom of the screen, on "Show Facility Info" it will bring up a new window like this , but will show you your information.

The legend at the top left of the window represents the different types of facilities. If you mouse over each of the options it will tell you what the colours and letters represent and how many of those types of facilites you own. Example of what you could see when you mouse over FW:

FW - Factories Workable
FN - Factories Non-Workable
SV - Services
AB - Animal Buildings
Each box in the window is one of your farms. Each farm will show you how many of each type of the facilities you own on that farm. If you mouse over each box it will tell you the farm name and the Facility Capacity Used percentage. There is also a blue bar underneath the farm name to represent the Facility Capacity Usage. The longer the blue bar the more you have used. When the Facility Capacity is at 100% and the blue bar is full you must not place any more facilities on that farm. Example of what you could see when you mouse over a farm:

Another way to know the TOTAL amount of facilities you have on ALL farms, without having to count them in Show Facility Info is to use the Facility Manager in the Toolbox.

Open the Facility Manager.

Look for the Funnel filter top right of the window and click on it.
For ALL facilites, Production (regular), Services and Animal Buildings set it to the following:

Click the green check mark to save. Then click Start All at the top of the Facility Manager and read the popup, it tells you in the first sentence at the top. (The information in brackets tells you how many facilities are selected. Selected is any facility that has a check mark in the box for the facility.)

To find out how many Production (regular) AND Services Facilites you have, excluding the Animal Buildings set the Funnel filter to the following:

Click the green check mark to save. Then click the Start All at the top of the Facility Manager and read the popup, it tells you in the first sentence at the top.

To find out only the amount of Production (regular) facilites you have set the Funnel filter to the following:

Click the green check mark to save. Then click the Start All at the top of the Facility Manager and read the popup, it tells you in the first sentence at the top.

To find out only the amount of Service Facilites you have set the Funnel Filter to the following:

Click the green check mark to save. Then click the Load All at the top of the Facility Manager and read the popup, it tells you in the first sentence at the top.

To find out only the amount of Animal Buildings you have set the Funnel Filter to the following:

Click the green check mark to save. Then click the Harvest All at the top of the Facility Manager and read the popup, it tells you in the first sentence at the top.
