HTML5/WebGL: Game Not loading or frequent crashes

I am stuck on the black screen also -- it was working fine an hour or two ago, now I cannot get on the farm. I can go to my gift requests, but cannot load my farm nor anyone elses for work. I already cleared browser, memcache, reloaded, shut down and reopened etc. Nothing is working. Leaving shortly for work.... This is what is under the black screen:

Hi Queen of Clutter,
Please check if there is any update for Windows or Mac, you can type update in the search box and you usually get "search for updates", you have to follow the instructions. Remember to close and restart after updating.

Also make sure your browser is updated as sometimes they do not automatically update.

You might try another updated browser to see if it still gives you the same errors.



There are steps in the first post of this thread you can use to check your computer.

Everything is up to date. I tried opening on Firefox also, same thing - black screen --

I'm really tired of getting booted! I do all the tricks you say, and since yesterday it's crashing almost constantly if I do anything more than tiny farms!

We do not know what things you have tried so I will probably ask you to try things you have already done.

Be sure your browser is up to date and also if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac if you use it.

Also, go to the first post, first page of this thread where you will find the requirements for your computer.

I've gone through all of your requirements and suggestions, believe me I have tried to stop this! It was bad before, but starting yesterday even sending a message gets me booted!

Hi angelicbrat,
What kind of computer are you using?
What else do you have open when you have the farms open? Background programs? Additional browser tabs?

Do you have the minimum required amount of memory as posted in the first post of this thread?


Please tell us what you have tried. Memcache, browser cache, shutdown and restart your computer, what?

Taz, My computer is intel i5, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd hardrive. I purchased for using photoshop etc. I usually have 3 tabs open, mail, farmtown/facebook, weather. I clear memcache multiple times a day, I clear my browsing cache, when it boots me it comes up stating webgl 2.0 is not supported. I restart. I use chrome or edge, because sometimes one works while the other won't

Hi Angelicbrat,
The WebGL not supported is because you have encountered an error that the makes the server think that the WebGL is not responding and therefore not supported.

Are your farms or the farms you are working on heavily layered?

Are you seeing the red numbers climbing on the Save button when you are working?
Have you tried unchecking all the show item in your preferences that you do not need for the work being done?


Other than that and what you are already doing the only thing I can do is copy your posts to the closed thread for the developers to look at this.

I watch the save button closely, sometimes I click on a single tree and it goes to 1, other times I click using ext tools and it never climbs, I stop if it gets to 3 and wait for it to go down. there is really no rhyme or reason since the last update, before then if I was doing a heavily stacked fish farm it would boot me, now it can be a single layer with 20 tree, or writing a message. Before the 13th, I could switch to a smaller tool and it would be fine, now using my pink turbo boat (tiny!!!) causes it to crash. I will turn off everything not required as suggested, but I'm really frustrated as this is getting far worse, not better!
