sorry if i am posting this is the wrong area but most places on the forum, if i click, are giving me error messages...
i would just like to report that i have no gifts or train requests whatsoever in my request page...but on loading the game did have train requests which i didfrom there...

I moved your post to the thread about Gifting.

The errors you get on the forum are affecting all of us, hopefully the developers will fix this as soon as possible.
If you get the errors, please refresh the page.

About your problem with gifts. This is a random problem that happens sometimes. It is a case of the data not transferring from Facebook to Farm Town as the gift processing is done through Facebook. Most of the time they will show back up later that day or in a few days in your My Requests.

You can check the following link and see if your gifts are there Facebook Games Activity

If they are you can accept them through there or wait and see if they will show back up in your My Requests. Please visit the following link to know how to work through the Activity page:

You can try clearing your memcache (link below), a new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farm in all tabs you have it open. Then reopen the game and check you My Requests.

thank you for replying : )...already tried clearing cache and no, still nothing...did try the link and yes, i have gifts...i will wait and see what happens...not even sure i can exchange gifts using that...

It is not always easy to exchange the gifts on that page. I got the problem twice and they were back in My Requests that same day but it is not always the same.

The MY Request Page is not showing gifts I know have been sent. I go days without any showing up, then it only shows one or two pages of gifts, and when those are exchanged and accepted (and gifts sent back) it says I have no gifts .. again for several days. I usually have 75 or more gifts in the morning and another 45 by the evening... almost every day (sometimes a few more, sometimes a few less).

Thanks! They are on the Facebook link you provided. I will try that until things go back to normal. I have tried clearing the memcache a couple of times with no luck, but will try it again. Thanks for the help!

Well, I found my gifts on that link and will work on accepting them there (I remember this from the old days before My Requests). Some are only a few minutes old and some are left from 3 weeks or more. It looks like when they are in the mood they allow the newest 50 onto "My Requests" then I many do not get anymore for one or more days. I try clearing memcache every day but that has not helped.

Is Facebook, or anyone, working on this problem?

Please do not modify posts in the forums as we do not get notification of those when you modify.
I am sorry, but this is a random problem where the data requested does not get transferred from Facebook to Farm Town. Being random it is almost impossible to troubleshoot and correct. This will normally clear up and start transferring the data a few days after it starts. There is nothing we can do to correct this.

Hi, I can not give and receive gifts. I just get this...."Invalid access_token" It has been this way for months.

Hi annmarie567,

Please check if your browser needed updating, update it if it needs doing then clear the caches/history as well. Log out of Facebook, close the browser if it doesn't prompt you to do so after clearing it. Reopen your browser, log back into Facebook and then please run memcache.

To run memcache Click Here. A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then try the gifts again to see if it's cleared up for you.
