HTML5/WebGL: Game Not loading or frequent crashes

Taz and Raul, can you tell me if something we are hearing is true? Are the super neighbors in the new HTML 5version unable to work other farms for now? I know it will be possible once everything is done, but it's helpful to know this for the short term.

Hi MammaKanode,
As all neighbor functions are not include yet then super neighbors are not able to work in the HTML version yet. As long as the Flash version is still available then they can work through that.

Hi seafever,
I see several things that are wrong in this. Are you using a laptop or a desktop computer? If a desktop computer does it have a graphics card as the drivers may not be up to date on it and that can disable the Hardware Acceleration.

Major ones are OpenGL being disabled and WebGL being software only. All the things below where it says Problems Detected would also need to be corrected.

I still can't get the new version. I have done everything that I was asked to check. I get the green screen. I also find the forum is very difficult to follow. I am frustrated and have spent more time trying to play.
The fun is gone.

Hi laurakal,

Do you have any browser extensions that force Facebook to revert to the classic look? we have found that these extensions will prevent the HTML5 version of Farmtown from working and give you the green screen. You would need to disable those extension in order to play the new version. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no way around this.
