I moved your post to the thread for your problem.

Please close everything in your computer and then turn the computer off.

Then reset your router/modem for 3 minutes and reconnect.

See if you notice any change when loading the game.

Also, I have hidden everything in your preferences to let you load the game easily.
I suggest you to do the same when you close the computer till the next day and also choose another farm as your default, with less items in it.

If nothing works for you, then as we have told you before, it could be an internet problem in your zone or in the multiple links you have to go through till you get the app.

When you connect to the game, your data goes through your service provider and then many links to get to the Farm Town servers and then back the same route to get to your computer. Any one of those links having problems or heavy traffic can cause problems with your faerm s being slow or not loading.

You could try to ask your internet provider if they are having problems in your zone. Sadly if there is a problem there or in any links to get the app, we have no control over them.

Please undo whatever changes you made to my game. I cannot and will not restart the computer at this time as if I do that there's a very good chance I'll have to call a computer tech. Guess I should have just kept my mouth shut. Also I don't know what you did to my game but I can't even load Slashkey website on my "newer" laptop

The only thing I did was hide trees, flowers, crops, decorations, buildings, factories, ponds.

It is only to let you load the game easy. When it is loaded you only have to click in your preferences, the wrench, and put a check mark to all SHOW options and then click in the green check mark.

Im not sure why you cant turn off your computer, but at least close everything open in it and reset your router/modem.

New computers have lot to updates to do, maybe you could ask a friend or a family member to help you to set it.

The "older" one has several issues. When I "restart" it takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes to reboot back to desktop. I can and have closed all programs like you just described. I try to do that daily. It actually hasn't been that long since I did a hard reset on the modem to straighten out an ISP issue. I just attempted to load Farm Town on my newer laptop and it wouldn't even load the game.

Why is my "new" laptop freezing at "the connection was reset" then the entire site errors?
When you update your browser and operation system in any computer, new or old, you have to restart it to set the changes. Check if you have any Windows update in your new computer you havent done. They have to be done and then your new computer will restart automatically.

If you cant load the game in your new computer either then something is working wrong or any other update needs to be done. If you cant call a tech for it, then try to see if a friend or family member can help you with the new computer.

The "new" PC is completely up to date as far as I know. I never said I "couldn't" call a PC tech, I just choose not to unless the computer won't turn on. I'm perfectly capable of diagnosing computer issues and in the past I've diagnosed/fixed a problem that my provider tech support couldn't. Forget it. I'm not wasting anymore time on this today.

I just checked your data and saw that you are playing again and buying things. Also all is showing again in your preferences. Great!

Hopefully all will be fixed for you sooner than later.
