Default Enabling Flash in Edge browser Versions 83

April 2020 latest version of Microsoft Edge Version 83.0.478.37 and above have a slightly different method to enable Flash to run for Farm Town.

UPDATE: Version 83.0.478.45 not allowing the flash setting to be remembered when you close and reopen the browser so please see the post about Edge - How to add Farmtown Flash Enabler.

With this version don't click on the click here or Allow Flash links on the game screen as those will just take you to Adobe asking you to download Flash.... you don't need to.

  1. Load the game and you will see the usual message asking you to allow flash:

  2. The Padlock you need to click on, is located in the browser address bar to the left.

  3. Then click on Site Permissions.

Both are indicated with an arrow in the picture below:

  4. A window will open titled Site permissions/https://apps.facebook.com

  5. Scroll down the list to Adobe Flash and if the the box to the right shows Block, click on it and change it to Allow

  6. Then refresh the browser tab with Farm Town on it and the game will load.

    That's it. You're Done!
