Default 10 years of farmtown

so this year is 10 years of farmtown for me. I started playing around the time I got pregnant with my 2nd. back then we only had one farm and had to plant crops and harvest them our selves and we had to make sure we were nearby to harvest raspberries

My ten years hits in about 3 months.

My wife begged me to start playing so I could be one of the 30 (?) needed neighbors. Well, she stopped back around 6 farms or so.... and I am still going strong 2x over. lol

Ah yes.... the big red mansion.... gotta have
and then... the Pineapples ..... fighting for each one, hoping to work solo
and then... 24x24 with word that Flash could not handle any larger (haha)

Thanks Devs for the ongoing development and here is to many more years.... maybe another 10?

I was thinking I started in 2009, and will never forget having to harvest/plow/plant each individual plot, oh and one farm only!!

Pretty sure I have been here the entire time. This is where I learned that pineapples did NOT grow on trees lol. Those were the 1x1 days. A layered/stacked farm could take forever to get harvested, plowed and planted. Fishing was also 1x1 and a job everyone hated. Oh how far the game has come since then.

I also started back in 2009, I created a very beautiful single farm, my ideal for a (real life) lifestyle block here in NZ. This was when it was affordable to get the large pond on the low levels. I've since started a new account and have 8 farms. I play on a seasonal basis as I'm a real life Landscape Gardener, so play farmtown during the winter months (my slow season work wise). My current suit of farms have facilities and reflect small mixed farming here in NZ. Needless to say they are all beautifully landscaped.

Default 10 years also

I remember the days when we only had 1 farm, no big tools, each plot was harvested, and I believe the dairy processing was our first facility! But we stuck with this game, my husband and I. And are amazed at the creativity this game still presents us with...

Smile Sooooo MANY YEARS OF FARMING!!

I remember when the Old Farm house was the MANSION everyone was working so hard to unlock and buy. You would proudly display it on your farm. I think the top level was level 60? Hard work back then to plow, plant and harvest one tiny square at a time! How far FT has come and I am still here playing...LOL
