so we got the basket to work with help from our neighbors... BUT my neighbors have all quit playing.. !~ most are on FV clogging up home pages with stuff from FV ..
I still love FT much better but it has just gotten so slow and un eventful.. that i am doing long term crops just to keep a foot in the door to see IF AND WHEN we have something NEW to play ....

Would love more levels with rewards.. and some land expansions again.. PLEASE .. PRETTY PLEASE... WITH A VALENTINE ON TOP!!~

Sad but true - it does seem that the growing gift box is based on receiving valentines gifts, but like others, I receive very few gifts anymore because my neighbours have been disillusioned with the current lack of incentive to play and aren't bothering to send gifts. :(

I received the gifts before I bought the growing baskets, before I saw a pop-up message that growing baskets were fixed & would grow with gifts. That really shouldn't make a difference, I don't think.

Well, that's a bummer - I only found out about the growing basket AFTER I had the gifts from reading posts at the Forum, when no one knew what the growing basket would do - some thought it would do something on Valentine's Day, so curious me decided to buy, not 1, but 2! THEN the pop-up message about the fix, but no mention that gifts had to be received AFTER. I surely would not have bothered to buy the growing baskets, had I known.:mad:

Gifts are controlled by Facebook. Slashkey can't do anything about it.

That being the case, why can I send more gifts from another farm application - always have been able to - and often more frequently.

Like I said, Facebook controls it. I don't know how Facebook does it, but each app is different. Yesterday I could only send 8 gifts on FT and today I can send over 20 so don't ask me.

Well no wonder all my friends have left FT for Farmville. The growing basket thing sucksssssssssssss. OF COURSE they fix it AFTER I bought a **** load of them and I have received about 300 gifts from friends and don't need anymore. I love this game but it has become so annoying. Things always get FIXED after the fact or not at all.:(
And don't write me saying "then just don't play" or some other BS. I am just here to voice my concerns, which is what the forum is for RIGHT?????????

FT is running ok for me, no glitches since 28th update. Kinda bored though!

The Growing Gift Basket is more hassle than it is worth. Beware when you buy it. I bought one the first day...nothing. Then they said it was fixed. I had already received a ton of Valentine's gifts. Still nothing. After begging friends to send me more gifts. It finally grew to 100%. Then I decided to rearrange my farm. The minute I moved it and placed it in a different spot, it went back to 0%. Now I have to get my friends to send more just so it will grow again.

I am with everyone else...I have done all I can do to make my farms the best, have been at 60 now for a while. I keep planting 3 or 4 day crops, just to see if they come out with anything else. I have quit several times, played other games, but none of the come close to how much FT was in the begining. Please come up with more stuff, or you are gonna lose more people!

And my growing basket is stuck at 51%, despite 2 Valentine gifts today - maybe this was a good idea in someone's head, but it hasn't proven to work out in reality. Doesn't really matter much - I'll probably sell all the V-day stuff on the 15th and hope for more good stuff for the farm. With all FT's glitches & lack of "more", it still has the best graphics and is still my favorite.

For the growing basket, why can't we be credited for Valentine gifts received BEFORE the glitch was fixed? We got credited with Farm Cash for previous levels attained.

Yes I think it is time for new levels and new crops. Perhaps something bigger and better than pineapple for those of us stuck at level 60. I do have to say since the harvest and plowing issues have been fixed the game is once again a pleasure to play. Both actions go smoothly now and I can be on my friends farms and off in 10 to 15 minutes instead of hours. Thanks to the developers for fixing this problem.

What they haven't fixed is when u harvest plow and plant your own crops it takes me 1 1/2 to 2 hours to harvest plow and plant my 2 farms

I moved my basket and it didn't go back to 0%. But it is really stupid that it grows based on the number of gifts your friends send. Insult to injury, it looks just like one of those gifts. Nothing special about it at all.

Everyone is on the same version of FarmTown. Can you please tell us what specifically you have seen mentioned that you can't find so we can direct you to the right place?

The Growing Gift Basket is available to purchase in the Store under the Valentine's tab. Once you have a basket, Valentine's gifts sent to and accepted by you will cause the basket to slowly fill with other Valentine's items. Gifts previously accepted will not count towards this.

I love this game, so addicted to it. I have some kinda hacker/virus program that trying to pop up when playing the game. it states that if i close the window I will have a virus and fry my computer. My virus software does not detect anything. Not sure if this is where I post, new at this.

I agree, it is really no fun when you are at level 60 and the addiction to the farm quickly wears off until you just don't even visit it any longer and soon just forget about it..and all the money you spent seems like a waste..so you just stop playing the other games too..

I too have been at level 60 for several months and there isn't much more to do after you've bought a second farm other than collect money and points. Please let us know if you will be expanding the game further. It's starting to lost it's luster when there's nothing more we can do. Thanks!

Good luck getting an answer to this one Spotsrock - others of us on the forum have begged for some small indication of hope for a future for farmtown, only to find either message deleted or complete ignore.

Please try clearing your cache. FarmTown does not ask for birthday information and unless you have requested email notifications, you should not be receiving emails from FarmTown. Are you certain it was FT and not Facebook? Pop ups are usually ads and I for one never click on them as you never know what they contain. Please be careful with those - maybe get an ad blocker for future?

Just wanted to thank the Devs for all the Valentine gifts, et al., you gave us. Our farms always look so nice when they are decorated for the different holidays.
As far as the mirror writing on the Teddy is concerned -- the Devs are just showing that they are in a class with Leonardo.

it means that the farmer you are working for has ran out of coins to pay the cost for plowing. if they cant pay the cost plowing cannot be done. they would have to go sell their crops so you can finish plowing when they have the funds
