We've been told you have to have the animals on the same farm as the facilities. This is in regards to the dairy barn and chicken coop.
.....club sandwhiches......bacon, tomato, turkey.. mmmmmmmmmm :) Oh! We need a smokehouse!!

Lettuce, we have to have lettuce for those sandwiches, and since we have the flour we can make bread. Humm, a bread making machine??????

yes, you can have a dairy shed and chicken coop on each farm and harvest the produce from any animals you have on that farm.

Thank you Mr. H., and Happy Easter if you are so inclined :)

I was at a farm where they had a small field of hay bales a tractor and wagon like they were baleing hay.
How about being able to plant, then harvest with a baler to either feed the live stock
or sell per bale.

Yes, the animals do need to be on the same farm as the chicken coop, dairy shed or wool shed. The other facilities can be on any farm, as the goods are taken from storage, which is shared.

Same here, but I didn't get it all filled until this morning, lol.

Im OCD and had to have it running full steam before I could rest. Knowing it was there and I didn't have it was driving me back to reality from being bonkers.

Does the game distinguished between goat and cow milk and hen and goose eggs when used in a recipe? I've been selling the goat cheese and goose eggs and just realized it might not matter to the game.
Thanks devs and mods for doing a great job!

Yes it does. at this time goat cheese and goose eggs can't be used for anything so you can sell them if you want.

Thanks for the fantastic upgrades. All excellent.
Been playing since the start, only one I play, love it. :D
I remember anxiously waiting to get to level 27 to buy the RIVER!!

How about an ice cream / malt shoppe, to use milk, sugar, maybe eggs?
Also, for all of us gluten free freaks, a rice mill.
Question: Do I have to own the chocolate factory if i buy the bakery?
I mean can I still make fruit pies and cheese cake?

You can still make cheesecake and fruit pies provided you have the fruit and cheese.

Oh, and I agree....I'd rather NOT have my announcements of FT activities go to my FB home page, but only to my FT friends. It isn't any one's business what game I'm wasting my time on....!

I picked up a good system from someone else that posted here. Go to your Facebook "friends" list and make up a new list. Title it with something that lets you know it's your FT friends. When you go to publish your announcement click on the lock at the bottom of the window and choose "customize." When you get to "only certain people" then type in the name of your list. The announcement will go to only those people.

Well if I want to make pies from the bakery, don't I need to make milk from a dairy barn, sugar from the refinery and how do I make flour? Is that more than I facility??

Hello. You make flour by harvesting Wheat. You need the grain silo.

No, actually you need the red windmill to make flour from wheat.

Should I sell my crops when I harvest or how can I save them to use in my dairy plant, juice plant, bakery & sugar plant?

Bought third farm and ready to buy some facilities for it - question, how many plots of an item, say sugar cane, does it take to make a bag of refined sugar - I know it says 10 units make on bag, but exactly what is a unit?

Thanks, I have been out of town while all of this has been added, so really trying to figure it all out, lol.

What's the prices for juice?

I might get the juice factory but I want to know how much you can make for the juices first.

Thanks!

Is there a list or table that shows all the ingredients needed for the products in the facilities? I'd really like to be able to plan better. If there isn't one being kept, is that something you could think about doing?

Hi...
Nice job! You've got me addicted again. <grin> A happy addiction, to say the least! A couple of concerns:

1) This senior is on a fixed income. I love chocolate. I have millions in play cash but can't get my chocolate factory? Come on, bend!!!! I NEED the chocolate fix! So, can we either have a choice of real/play $$, or can you be less stingy with your doling out cash?

2) I once had a zillion animals, until I learned they were slowing down my game. Sooooo, can you folks take your talent and find a fix for this cause I'm going for lots of pizza and need those cows!

Thanks!
Junie

Love the updates, Raul...you are the best, however, I run out of milk too quickly to make yogurt and pies, then have too much harvest waiting for the cows, etc, to harvest....can we either have a quicker harvest on milk, or more milk per harvest....this is really slowing me down...anyone else having the same problem??

Actually, not so much. I've got 25 cows and I harvest the milk as often as I can.

I've produced and sold an obscene amount of pizza (cheese) and strawberry yogurt the last couple of days.

I do grow more strawberries than I can use for yogurt but I keep them in my storage and gradually use them down until more milk is ready. When the next batch of strawberries is ready I sell off what I have in storage.

You'd be shocked at how many coins I've banked the last couple of days.

Thanks, I have made a bundle of money from yogurt and pies, I guess I am planting too many strawberries, and blueberries, and have a lot of cheese, so, guess I will not plant anymore until I use up what I have in storage....you are right, can make loads of money off of this stuff, just have to work out how to not overplant according to how much milk I have.....:)

I have a farm that doesn't have enough "cash" for a chocolate factory but has cocoa trees on it. Is there a way to process the cocoa beans into chocolate liquor? Or is this food item not available any other way? I noticed for some reason I did have a few "liquors" in my storage without the facility but have not been able to reproduce it.

And while I'm at it with the questions, why can't we use the goose eggs for baking or goat's cheese?

There are 2 ways to get chocolate liquor.

Have a chocolate factory and make your own.
Work at a friend's chocolate factory

When you work at a friend's facility the farm town mayor gives you a percentage of what you complete for free. This comes from the mayor's supply not your friends supply.

Why can't u expand the juice facility to also produce pear, mango, lemon juice since those fruits really go to waste ? and use the banana, coconut & plum tree's also in either a desert etc ?.Chocolate factory could also produce deserts like choc mouse ?

I really like the new facilities and have all but the chocolate factory, and will probably end up getting it as well. What I don't like is that people keep posting they want hellp in theirs over and over again. If you are on when they post the first time, it will probably be worth the trip. However, I have gone on a new post only to find out that it only had a tiny bit left in any of its facilities to do. I wouldn't post mine with so little. One can always just let it produce until you get enough to make it worth someone's efforts to come. Besides that, if you help when it only have like 8, you still can't help again for 24 hours. I have decided to post mine once every day and a half or so. Those coming at the beginning should do pretty well. What is left, can just produce till I go to post again and add more to make it worth peoples while to visit. Also, posting it this period of time apart, no one should come only to find out they have already visited for that day already and not be able to help at all. I guess I will just have to start keeping better track of who I have already visited that day.

Could we have a coffe factory (and tea plants and tea factory), then we can produce coffe - and then we could have a nice little coffe/ tea shop that could serve cakes, tea and coffe?

Perhaps it could be done in such a way that anyone visiting the farm could have a cuppa, even without having been invited?

I also wish that we could work in our neighbour's factories without having to be invited (a bit like fertilising friends crops in Farmville). It takes too much time to go to a farm from facebook, working, leaving Farm town, finding another job etc. Perhaps a factory with work going on could have a little sign sayin "help hired" - then we could "work" in the factories while tending our neighbour's farms.

Other than that, very happy with the new facilities!

Yes, some of my neighbors have gotten a little carried away posting. They seem to think they need to post every time they load a few things in their facilities.

I could see some circumstances when it might be worth it to post more than once a day...like if you have a lot of work left and have friends around the globe. But, I've had good luck just posting once a day. Then anything I load after that will be there in the morning when I post again.

I like the idea of one big payday for everyone. Load those facilities up!

I like having to invite people for a couple of reasons.

One, it lets me control things a bit and really load my facilities so everyone is making some serious coin.

Two, I loath the idea of running from farm to farm hoping to get lucky and score a measly 2 bags of flour and an apple pie. At least this way you know there is, or was, something in production.

I think some people think they need to post for each facility but then don't just one, and people can work in all facilities on all farms.

Yes, I've noticed that as well, JAS.

Could you add a few more items to the chocolate factory to make it more worth buying. Like perhaps it could also produce chocolate candy. I remember visiting a chocolate factory and they gave us a piece of chocolate at the end of the tour.

I have bought all the new facilities and been using them all. I have found that you don't get much from them. On some items like pineapple juice you only get something like 260 coins from it but if you sell pineapples by itself you get 600 coins, and same with the pizzeria. Has anyone else figured this out. Seems to be a rip off to me.

We need to get more coins from the facilities then we do by selling them alone.

You need to check your math again. Pineapple sells for 614 each, but 5 pineapple put through the juicer produces 25 units of juice that sells for 6400 coins as a whole. That's 1250 coins per unit of pineapple...so more than doubling your price.

They are working on the produce faster for myspace but no word on when that will be fixed. I'm sure they are working as fast as they can. As for the neighbors there is a neighbor request thread in the social section at the top in the stickies where you can get more neighbors.

Part one...I have a question about the Dairy Precessing Plant, It is saying Batch 20 Units of Butter and I have about 40 cows; plus the same for the goats it is saying I have 8 units Goat Cheese and I have about 20 goats....I know it is impossible to update daily, so how and when will this info update so I can get the correct credits for my butter and cheeses, etc...
Part two...I have been adding to the Sugar and Flour plant and I still have not been able to bake and cakes or Pizza's....It keeps telling me that I am short sugar or flour or both... at the Marketplace the people have been saying the same thing. So when will we know how much is enought to bake Pie, Cakes, or Pizza's..
Part Three...Our messages that we leave to you are being spammed..I supposed that is the word you guys use...the last message I sent to you...some dodo, sent me naked pictures. Then some other persons was using the reply feature as a means of advertisement. I do not think this is what the forum is for SEX or Advertizements...Maybe these people should be educated. I told the one advitisor and had my head chewed off.

Part one: Do you have the Dairy Shed which is required to harvest your cows and goats? When you have harvested the animals using the Dairy Shed, the milk will be available in your storage area to use in making butter and goat's cheese.

Part two: Click on the Sugar Refinery or the Windmill. Then click on "What's cooking". Hover your cursor over the product box. A dark blue bar saying "Store" should then appear in the bottom right hand corner of the box. Click on that to send the finished sugar / wheat to your storage area. They will then be available for you to use in producing other products.

Part three: As this is the first message you have posted on here in 6 months, can you please provide further information as to where you have been leaving the other messages that have resulted in you receiving this spam?

Well if I want to make pies from the bakery, don't I need to make milk from a dairy barn, sugar from the refinery and how do I make flour? Is that more than I facility??

flour comes from the windmill.....from wheat..dont need milk to make pies.but you do need a dairy shed for cows to make yogurt.

It is not working for Myspace users right now but the devs are aware of this.

The trick is: You will need to wait for the developers to fix that for myspace, it is not working right now, but they are working on fixing it.

The limit would be how many you can place on your farm. With a 32x32, the limit is - theoretically - 9216. One animal per mini-plot depending on the animal. But your pc will crash before you ever get half way to that.

Part one...I have the Dairy Shed and I think I have about fifty cows and twenty goats and it is saying only twenty cows and eight goats. The Pizza Palace is saying I do not have enought cheese, because of the incorrect readings.

Part two...Yes I have the Sugar Refinery and Windmill and they are saying I have, I think the pharse is five units and I have been harvesting, since the beginning and it is still saying only five units for both. Therefore I can not bake at the bakery or make Pizza because there is not enough flour!

Part Three...The sex pictures are something new and the advertizements all of this has been since I posted on the forum last....

Gotta say ...I am back in love with this game!! I sprung for all the best facilities, a new 3rd farm that is designed as a village (with a commercial division for all the facilities) surrounded by a farm on the outskirts.... and now have all my active neighbors eager to come over for free chocolate, free bakery goods, juice, flour, sugar, dairy products, and free pizza (all three varieties) of course!

The new developments have completely changed the way I play this game...which is a good thing because I was on the edge of being bored. I now am far more interactive with my neighbors and we talk a great deal more, visit and help each other more, and enjoy our farms a lot more! I own more chickens that the Farmer in the Dell, and all my farms are in production for the factories, not just for the market.

Good plan on the part of the developers to bring a whole new level to the game for those who enjoy their neighbors for more than just the requisite number needed to plow.

I'm ready for an upgrade to the dairy to produce ice cream! :D

If you have more than one dairy shed on each farm....it won't work. They have to be one on each farm and the animals have to be on the same farm as well.
