Yeah I noticed that too. I had two different bunches of wheat. 1 3000 + and the other was 5000 +. I filled my Stone Windmill first and it used up the 3000 + batch then I thought oh good I will have plenty left to fill the red one with the 5000 + batch. I was surprised when I ran out of wheat and it wasn't full yet. Go figure...Wheat in the Stone Windmill makes 3 times as much flour as the Red Mill so you are better off filling it first :)

I am with you on that Grumpa.... I would rather have the 2xFish of course, but when you get 100 bait at a time, there is no reason to not some bait.

LOL I usually have bait, but I fish a lot that don't and since I have the big boat it really don't make a $#!^ to me if they have bait or not.

I love the new updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 However, I do think something needs to be done about the gifts. It takes so much time to accept, store, or use, then store the animals in their respective sheds. It would be awesome if you could at least group them like you can in the storage.

You know people have been saying that since gifts have been available. Makes you wonder about the devs, 1. They haven't figured out how to do it yet, 2. They just don't care. I would like to offer them up a challenge to do it by the next update. Now that would be an update.

I have a reasonable solution - on the page where you have the ACCEPT button and the X to refuse, I would change that to ACCEPT, EXCHANGE, X. You could zip through and click on the Accepts and those would automatically go into your gift box without leaving that page. Those you want to exchange could be the same way - do it on that same screen and have a popup to select a new gift. It would cut down on a whole lot of screen refreshes and lots of waiting, etc.

That is controlled by fb the developers can not change that.

Simply *love* the Multi-hiring- thingy!! Now I'm just waiting for a Multi-hiring that allows the hired one to continue through all my farms - - - in stead of trying to cach her/him to do the next farm! LOL

Yes, there are a lot of people who either don't know about this new feature, or don't know how to use it. But I had a lady the other night who didn't finish -- even *after* I asked her if she knew how to do it!

I've finally figured out that I have to be smart when I'm harvesting if I don't want to get bogged down for the plowing. Jumping around from plot to plot causes the problem here, even just up or down one row here or there. If I just go in a straight line -- up one side and down the other -- when I'm harvesting, my plowing doesn't get ahead of the ol' girl. :-) People who show up on my farm and just scattershot the thing have no chance of plowing it without a rehire. Which is fine by me -- I hate when they do that. :-D

If you hover your mouse over the yellow box at the bottom right of the screen more options should appear, at the top of the options there should be a green arrow, click on that... I don't wait for it to finish to START plowing but I can't plow as fast as I normally would because the avatar is not finished. I plow and wait and plow and wait through the whole field. I somewhere in here this was cause by the field being stacked or layered but it happens on fields that have never been stacked or layered too.

When you move mouse over it a few things pop-up. Click on the green arrow at the top of that list. That will open the extended toolbox. Your tools have to be in your storage for this to work.

More likely they were (F) for fertilized ?? I could do with being able to freeze some of my farms at the moment. The real world is driving me nuts and I have about 15 farms to harvest :(

Out of all the players I have multi hired today (happened yesterday too), 3 have refused the multi hire because they say they lose their harvester. I have said its in the toolbox just click on the green arrow in the toolbox to "open" it and all 3 said there was no arrow at the top when they clicked on the toolbox... so I am confused... I can't understand how they can still access their plow tool but not the harvester!!!!

I haven't had a problem at all with the toolbox when being multi hired myself, the only thing I've found is that occasionally I don't alway pick all the crops up so I have to be rehired to plow or I leave groups of "ghosting crops" that I can't plow over... if that makes sense!!!

If you expand the "diamond" pattern of farms from 3x3=9, to a 4x4=16, that would be 7....... count 'em.. 7 !! ...... that we need. And we need them NOW.

i have the service facilities. Cash out every 6 hours. I have been getting over 100,000 coins on each one. I am happ0y with them. You can ccash out when it says there are some done. The more done the more coins.

I don't need the coins, but it is sure ncie to use ingredients and get more from them. Thank you for this feature.

Wow!! That's a lot of coins each time. I have all three service facilities, and I've often loaded them up to the max. Well...guess I'll be cashing them out from now on.

Yeah, I like all the new features that Farm Town is offering. I like it that farm town is allowing the players to make big bucks. Farm Town has so many rich farmers. I know you may say that these are not real coins, but in games you play and you want to be rewarded well for playing. It's the feeling of "satisfaction that counts. Farm Town is great!!!

think it would be a little unrealistic to freeze crops and would take away the challenge of the game

part of the challenge is managing your crops by planting the ones you know you will be able to harvest.

I have actually had my avatar stand completely still and the whole field was harvested, but i couldn't plow a single plot. I had to have the owner come back and rehire me to plow. It was NOT a stacked field. Sort of defeated the multi hire thing.

Until they make it where you can switch between farms the multi-hire will not work to it's full potential. IMOH

I'm just guessing here, because this is the first time I've seen freezing crops suggested, but based on the context of the first mention, I'm guessing one reason would be decorating purposes. It would be nice to have a crop "frozen" as a lawn. :)

For me, freezing crops wouldn't help. If I can't get it harvested, it's usually 'cause my DSL's gone down. So I couldn't get in to freeze it anyway. :D

Its like that for many ppl cause the servers too slow, and the less ram you have the worse it gets too.

You have to have a brand new pc with all the bells and whistles to keep up with farmtown.

I only have 2 gigs of ram and a 256 mb videocard, so even tho i have roadrunner highspeed FT servers still suck big time.
Every 60 seconds the server gets stuck and i have to force the game to give me the retry panel.
It blows big ones

Go to the market and click a farmer to hire them as normal. Now, instead of choices like chop, fish etc. there's another choice - multi-hire. Click that and you can choose the jobs you want them to do. Then you choose which farm.

Takes a while, but while you're still in the market, your choices of jobs stay selected when you multi-hire so you can try someone else.

First of all I want to thank you for LISTENING to us and making improvements accordingly. This is a fun game with few glitches! I'd appreciate more levels on the next upgrade. Don't really need anymore farms, there is only so much time in a day. I've been trying to max out facilities and that was ok for a while, but now I need more levels for the challenge. I mean, when you fuel up and get 700,000 gallons of fuel, there really isn't a challenge anymore with that type of stuff.

We dont have the same set up on myspace that FB has.

we all default to server 10 but when we click "retry", it rotates to 9, 8, 7, and 3. it rarely recovers on the lower servers. most of the time we have to click retry untill the ring around the servers goes back to 10 again.

Dont know what or why anymore. While working job on FT, i only use about 50% of my ram and only 22% of my page fileing virtual ram. So i have more than enough on my end.
Its just the slow servers on FT

You can work another farm once in a "farm day". I have found that here in the Eastern time zone, 8am and 8pm have significance. I have a few "favorite" neighbors who will work my farms in the morning, I restock during the day and do not post them.... and then these neighbors can work fully stocked farms again in the evening.

I then restock again, and they have fresh farms early the next morning .... all off the original posting.

So, I may only post once or twice a week.... but it is a post that keeps on giving.

me also, crazy when need more than 26 neighbours to get farm but only send 26 gifts... as game moves forward in time gifts should go up NOT down..........

In Windows Explorer you can right click on a drive and go to properties and then Tools tab. It is in there.

I have always sent twice a day, early morning and in the evening, about 12 hours difference:D

and my PC defrags automatically , I keep mine clean at least once a week with the rest

another thing they should do is when we accept gifts...one click for trees one click for one kind of animal IE...cows then one click for geese or whatever we get in gifts...what does every one think about this?:D

i have to agree!!! love the multi hire!!!! i hate having to "catch" someone to work at my farm. and i've had people say that i'm supposed to catch them, ON MY FARM, AFTER i hired them to work!!! cant wait to multi-hire for multi-farms!!! woooo hoooo!!! i love this game!!!

At the moment i have 113 neighbours that are playing the game with another 20/30 waiting to be added. Could you allow us to have an unlimited number of neighbours or a least increase it to 200. I have loads waiting to join and sadly had to delete the lower ones to add on new. All my friends play FT and i must admit its hard to turn people down and such a shame. Can you please see your way to increasing this facility, so i don't have to turn people away.
Also can we have some more cups to be earned. I have all 15 now, and i think there is potenshal for you add more. 1 cup for each farm reached to maximum size, thats an extra 9 cups in it'self. Cups for reaching a set number of neighbours to the maximum allowd. Cups for the amount of coinage a farmer has. There are loads more you could add. Since i'm upto the maximum level acheiving a cup with give people like me a goal to aim for.
Having said all this i must compliment you on the game its self I LOVE this game, keep up the excellent work xxx All the best to you and the game's organizers and designers xxx

I need more land too I work my farms every day I love farmtown
I do not much care for the stuff they gave us last time. I like the working stuff and I would like to see some horses that look like horses i would buy them and dogs that look like dogs and some spring stuff please guys. Hi There. I believe only the Devs know when the next update will be...My guess would be maybe Friday or over the weekend sometime....As for a Iphone app...Your request would be seen better, in the Suggestions Forum

The amount of neighbors you can have is not restricted by facebook that is a restriction the developers have put into place. The official limit is 80 but there seems to be a glitch that will let people have more then that I have 118 and I have heard of people with more then that. Now Myspace does have some restrictions on neighbors that ft can't control.

But legitematly its restricted by the amount of top friends you can have.

That goes for myspace not facebook because facebook doesn't have a top friends system on their network all your friends are available to be your neighbor.

It was never a fb limit it was always a ft limit. I don't know if they have lifted it or if there is a glitch that is letting people have more then 80 all I know is a lot of people have over 100 neighbors and the official limit is 80. I play one game on fb that I have over 600 neighbors in.

The main issue with this is Farmtown is a Flash game. The IPhones do not support Flash. I have tried to log and play if even just to milk the cows and stuff but can't get past the flash requirement.

Looks like we got some new goodies. I see some Mother's Day gifts and some new facilities some "Coming tomorrow"... Not sure what else yet going to go check it out.
