Naveed are you using the facility mangaer?
I spend maybe 15 minutes a day collecting from my 21 animal sheds & 15 minutes every 3 or 4 days "ordering" on my 2 bee farms, 1 fish farm, 6 mineral mines, 9 oil pumps, 3 open-pit mines & 2 semis. Filling my 65 "working" facilities takes no more than 45 minutes a day. All of this is done from 1 farm using the facility manager.

I can see your frustration ..... if I had that many trees and flowers to work, I would be tempted to just pack it in too.

I have a "feeder" farm where I have a steady stream of fruit to buy, and extra crops to work, so that my own farms are not so over crowded that I become tired of the game. Kinda like my own private farmers market.

I dont hv to worry about trees/flowers/fish as my friends do it at their own, they just come and ask for it and i just put them, they had a fight to do them as they get so much fruit/chop/fish which is enough for them. I only hv to saw and they do harvest/plow by keep on yelling at me when i am online lol so no time waste for these things. The facilities take so much time that I only hv to do it in a day if i am to post it so FT if work out a way to help us filling them quick we can avoid this frustration :) hv a look on my farm five and u will be amazed as I would probably hv the biggest fish farm on FT, so those who hv green boat are on my nurves to do it as soon as fish is ready

FT need to do some thing to find a way to improve on filling part of facilities so people keep on spending FTC on this game, or they will give up, like I am almost at this moment.

I have looked at some of your farms and you don't have any more facilities then I do and I can load mine in 30 minutes. If your farm is running slow and I am sure it is you need to remove some of the layers on the farm. You have stacked fields, which are probably also layered, buildings on top of fields, with trees and flowers on top of that. The servers can not handle that much data at one time. If you want your farms to run faster you have to remove 2/3 of the stuff you have on them.

Farms are not slow for me, I can use them and my friends can also harvest/plow them without any speed issue. I understand that I hv spend so much on buildings and for the same reason that I am not able to fill them all I am not buying any more, so if FT work out an easy way to fill them for "my kind of players, which I am sure FT has so many, at least I hv 3 of the same kind of players as my neighbors". We will get motivation to spend more FC on this game, or "my kind" will stop spending FC on facilities and will only buy upcoming tools which FT is gradually issuing, I am pleased that FT gave us bottling facilities, if they work a little more and work out such things for almost all type of buildings (like one for food related products, one for fast food, one for wood related facilities etc. etc.). things will improve, and then you guys can gradually fasten them further by removing steps in filling.
If their is a will their is a way .... I am just saying if FT instead of coming up with further facilities, work out some way to fill them quicker many FT players will be pleased as even who has 40 buildings still need to spend some time by keep on clicking to fill each item 1 by 1.

I hv buildings over buildings but they are so many. Almost every building including FC based is on each farm (if not all, atleast 70%)

My opinion is that the developers have as goals:

[1] to attract as many NEW players as possible
[2] to give older players new things to do with farms, tools, facilities etc which they can CHOOSE from
[3] to NOT be real concerned about the very, very, very, small number of players (IMHO) who have build farms such as you have done.


I get "antsy" when I have my kitchen counters covered with too much stuff..... but the FT game is something I can have control over. It is when I lose control, then...... I hope I can stop playing.

It is because you have them too close together. This isn't something new and has always been a problem.

I thought so too but on the one large and one small seacoast side, they aren't any where near touching each other. I know that putting 2 large coasts together causes that issue.

It is not just the seacoasts themselves. It is anything sitting too close to them like your fences, buildings, benches, etc.

im assuming your talking about the flower watering glitch where you let the flowers water level get to a certain level then harvest water and they become harvestable again

the sad truth is that when you reharvest the flowers from that magic second harvest does Not add to your storage.

I agree with you - Farm town needs new players and also satisfy the long loyal players too at the same time. Farmtown is a great game as it caters for everyone. Unfortunately as players reach higher levels it gets harder for the Dev and Raul.

I have a great idea and at presently writing up a proposal on how to improve farmtown. It is very detailed and mind boggling with so many new challenges and ideas. I am hoping to be able to email Rual and hope he will review it and maybe use them.

Raul... hoping to have this done within a week.. so many ideas but hard to put on paper... Dev and Raul keep up the great work and standards you have produced in this game.

I agree, we shall hv more tools, I will not agree with those who saying total no for new facilities, we hv a choice if we want to spend FC on them or not.
I love the tools like "Bottling Machine" and "ordering counter".

- When using the Harvest-Plow-Plant combine and there is no place to plant the the seed tool will be deactivated automatically, this was the previous behaivor with the other seeders. We didn't do this intentionally however we just noticed that this behaivor have the advantage for you to change farms and keep the cursor, so based on feedback, if most users agrees to keep the cursor all the time we may decide to revert again this behaivor.


I just saw this and I think a lot of people haven't seen it. While I do not have the combine I do have an opinion on this. There are pros and cons for keeping the seed bag and it going away. Most people are used to it going away and would like to keep it that way I know I would but really the reasons for this is not as important now as it used to be. The seed bag going away used to be very helpful because it let you know if you got all the fields and some crops (ie coffee) where hard to see if you had a field planted. Now with the bigger tools, queuing, and the highlight form the fertilizer it is easier to see the fields we have missed, so it is not as big a deal for it to go away. Now people that stack may still find this option very useful so they know they got all the fields but others don't need it as much. On the keeping the bag it does allow you to move to another farm which can be good if you are planting more then one farm with the same crop. I don't know what the majority would choose but would it be possible to have the best of both worlds. What I mean by that is an option in preferences that lets us choose to keep the seed bag that way the people that want to keep it can the ones that don't want to keep it don't.

While we are talking about keeping tools can you please change the bulldozers to where they stay active when you change farms.

Probably the wrong place to post this, but I can't harvest my rabbits. It's been two days, when I hover over the hutch it says 100%, but when I click, it says no animals to harvest. When I hover over the # of animals, it says I have 48.

I bought the hutch after it became a facility.

HOWEVER, ta dah, I went back to the farm, bought some more rabbits, put some more in the hutch, clicked to try harvesting again, and I was given 151 rabbit harvests. I don't have that many rabbits but I'll take it.

I just harvested about 28 rubber trees but when I try to manufacture rubber sheets, no raw material made it to the factory -- also, when I tried to get my share of bonus from neighbor's post, a screen notified me that my 12 hours was not up ... the last time I successfully got bonus share was about 15 hours ago. This is getting beyond frustrating. The 12 hour limit is bad enough, but most of the time when I reach a new band and try to post, I get "sorry, an error occurred, try later" and of course there is no opportunity to try later. The belt system sucks! harvest not reaching storage sucks! the game is beginning to suck!

The 12 hours limit in for what you get when you click on other people's bonuses and for bonuses you have posted yourself.

Not sure if I'm repent of have buying the new Bottling Machine... :( As well as it works on bottling facilities (Juice Factory, Winery, Wine Cellar, Brewery, Soft Drink Factory, Distillery and Oil factory) I wonder if there's a mistake... What is a bottle?... Many other facilities work with bottles: Spice Factory, Ink Factory (inks), Bee Farm (Honey Jars), Natural Remedy Shop, and the most "bottled" are Perfume Factory, Baby foods factory, or not? SO, please include them in order to get mor out of the new tool...

I just figured it out. You just click on the outfit and it doesn't charge your account. Obviously, it knows you previously purchased it. Sorry to have troubled you.

Would be nice to have an "All" button on all facilities, or even take it one step further and restock the entire facility with the click of one button without actually even having to open the facility, using what ever ingredients you have in stock at that time.

I like some of the other changes, such as the combine tool. Keep up the good work.

With so many farms to plant, I tend to plant them in bulk with the same seed. It would be a huge time saver if the cursor remembered the seed that is being used from the previous farm. I have planted a field of celery and it turned to grass I can not plow it or even put a building on it. My wife is able to plant celery on her farm I tried a test plot on a different farm and the same thing happened. Any ideas what is wrong?

We usually get new stuff on FT about every three-four weeks, and if we can wait until the eighth (Friday), that'll be three weeks. From what I've noticed, people aren't that excited for the next update as they were for this one. I just get happy every time the Dev's give us new things. I'm so ready for new trees and crops, it gets boring planting the same things over and over and over again.

clear your browser cache, restart your browser and revisit your farm. It should be visible then (has anyone visited your farm and can see the celery you planted?)

That is not what he is talking about. Now there is a message at the top of the page when you are accepting gifts that the gift box is full. I saw it a couple of days ago when I was accepting gifts.

the forklift allows you to store all finished products in each facility all at once .. when you open the facility manager on each facility that has products finished .. click the store button instead of opening each facility and clicking on each finished product under the pending tab

yes so do i but what im saying is yes in this case you may see it while harvesting but keep it away from your plowed area that you do seed and don't seed the plot u made to keep the tool open.

Even if there was an ALL button you would still be able to manage your or supplies with the current sing 10+ and 30+. Most of facilities I am able and do MAX out most everything in it, I know the ones I cannot and would be able to manage them with the current options. Taking an hour or more to manage facilities gets very tiring and an ALL button would hopefully reduce this time so I would have more time to do other things in the game.

from a business perspective which farmtown is a business the developers have to create ways to keep cashflow going if the cashflow stops the so will farmtown it will disapear from our computers as it would cost alot of real $$$ to keep the servers running and pay the software writers that spend many hours writing the code for all the wonderfull updates we get.

I do agree that the bottleing machine should have had the same effect as the ordering station with trailer and increased the speed of production but who knows that might get upgraded eventually.

I think farmtown is more then fair with what costs farm cash and what is coins.

i dont mind paying some money as it gives me many hours of enjoyment and would hate to see the game go.

well i guess there is always the alternitave zanga games that charge real cash for almost everything.

and i am just makeing a real & valid point that farm coins wont keep the game running it will disapear and we will be left with zanga rubbish so if they need to break things up then so be it only the income from fc keeps the game going.

I always have my third party cookies blocked and I can play the game just fine. The only third party content that has to be turned on is for the flash player. And no company pays slashkey for any information gotten from cookies.
Facebook owns and gets all the revenue from the ads on the right side of the game. Slashkey removed their ads because the company they were dealing with kept inserting ads with pop-ups that kept messing up the game, so they had to drop them.
Facebook may pay them a small amount for those ads on the right but I doubt it is enough to pay for the game.

You can go to the FB development page and ask how much it cost to run a ad on FB...it is a very low amount.I have a friend who uses FB to run ads for their business,targeting only users from this area,and they pay a per click fee monthly.It was on average $25 a month iirc.Even if SK got a part of that,which ,as Taz said,the ones on the right side don't,FB would get the lion's share of that.

i have been struggling financially since having my first business eroded by a business partner that sent the business into a financial free fall and am struggelling to rebuild but i allocate a small amount of my income to buy some farm cash each week and im sorry but i doubt that the advertising pays for the game

VERY fair - I got fed-up with the other game where anything at all worth having, was real money - that runs through all that companies games. They even had a gambling game on one app that charged you to click on it.

The only players that can afford all the land expansions are the players that spend money on the game to get the fc facilities. Only the players that have all or most of the facilities are the ones making billions of coins in the game. The people that don't buy fc are at a huge disadvantage and are the ones leaving the game left and right. People love to point out that you can play this game for free while that is technically true you can not play the game to its fullest and that makes people mad and they leave because of it. If FT had more decorations for fc and less of the tools and facilities for fc they would probably have more players. Another thing that might help them keep players or get them is to build tools and some facilities instead of buying them with coins. I know what you are going to say now that, that would make ft like fv and you are right to a point. The thing is if ft doesn't do something to give the free players a break there will be no ft in a year from now. You all think I am wrong but I doubt that I am ft needs to change if they want to keep going.

Beings that they made the forklift a farmcash item, im sure that any tool to load max buildings would also be a FC item, so im not even gonna hope for one. All the good stuff that saves the most time costs real money

Very true. I still need 1 more land expansion on farm 7 and 3 more expansions on 8, 9, & 10. It's gonna be forever before i make enought money in the game to expand them all at the high game prices they keep getting up to.
I have a lot of buildings but not near all of them. I average about 15 to 20 million profit a day off my buildings, and its very rare that i can just plant crops to do nothing more than profit off of because im a slave to the buildings and they take constant replanting of what i call "stock crops" to keep buildings running at max capacity.

You will get no notification that you received a free box of crops they will just be put in your storage with the rest of your crops. You have gotten them trust me.

If it stays to pattern for me it will turn up on Saturday week, just a couple of minutes before I have to turn my computer off and go away for a week. My trusty netbook will be going with me, but it's difficult to do lots of farming on, I won't have lots of access .... and my husband will kill me if he takes me away and I spend my time on Farm Town :D

You will get no notification that you received a free box of crops they will just be put in your storage with the rest of your crops. You have gotten them trust me.

I think it would be nice if we were notified when got one. Not a popup but just a fading flash on the screen like we get when get the less than brown belts.

I do not bother to hire out to harvest and stuff, since I can do it faster than I can follow someone else around. Since everything I harvest goes into factories, there is no advantage to the larger harvest. Now I will just because I can hire once.

I think it would be nice if we were notified when got one. Not a popup but just a fading flash on the screen like we get when get the less than brown belts.

I would be cool with that as long as it didn't show if we had floating text turned off. All that text on the screen takes up a lot of memory and slows the game down. That might be why they haven't put it in the game.

Can you please increase the amount of shrimp you get in the fish farming plant. I never have enough shrimp and you have something that uses shrimp in this new update. I don't want to buy another fish farming plant because the other stuff I have plenty of I just need more shrimp.

Yep, lots of little technical type changes. I love the hire multiple of multiple farms - just brilliant, and the loss of the middle step in working facilities. Ithink I found a third one too, but I'm so busy farming that I forgot what it was :confused:

I love the facility one too, I haven't hired anyone yet but the multiple farms will be nice. Where is Raul at? We have never waited this long for an announcement after an update.

Maybe because it's just a lot of little technical type adjustments, it might not be officially announced. There will be uproar if he announces it as 'the latest update' from the masses who will want more :rolleyes:
