New Release -- March 10th, 2012

Why am I not getting FT Cash and also why does my expierience level not change..? I play daily and have done so for over a year..I am at level 310 and collecting $ BUT NO CHANGE IN LEVEL.. My expierience level does not show any longer how much more to the next level yet the amounts changes.. I have emailed support 6 times in the past week and NO response.. I am going to quit soon if I cannot get this resolved.. any suggestions?

At the moment 310 is the top level - it will not change unless the developers release some more levels.

As Rob T stated apx 8 days ago, it is random there is nothing to be fixed, if you have already received 30 FC from the challenge you will not see the banner anymore and if you have not received the 30 FC it might reappear again, you could try to reload several times to see if it comes back, it is random on when it appears.

I don't think they consider maximizing every factory @ 100%, every day, all day. The factories aren't designed to process maximum amts of every facility, they are to provide some fill for some of the factories, not every one, every time. There would be no challenge if the factories produced the entire amt needed to fill up every facility at all times. If the game increased all items that were in shorter supply, there wouldn't be any challenge. The game would be too easy, & players would lose interest, just to satisfy the few that want the game to practically run itself. It's a challenge for me to try to find ways to increase those items that are short in supply, I like it that way, I don't want the game to run itself. :D:cool:

I very much agree. I gave up trying to max out every facility at least a year ago and am enjoying Farm Town more than ever. I am still at the highest level with tons of coins. It is each person's choice to run your farm town or let it run you.

Go to the Store and click on Paths/Grounds ... scroll almost to the bottom and you'll see them. I know they were hard for me to find too! :)

I have all my facilities at 100%. Trust me it was a challenge getting them there and is a challenge keeping them there. You have to time it right to post work for your facilities and then a challenge getting everything stocked back up after posting. It takes about a month to get them close to being all full after posting. And then you get things built back up to post again.

This maybe the wrong place to post this - but I notice the drop off of posting in the forum and loss of many older players to farmtown but.....

I have enjoyed the game from it first started... Raul and Dev thanks for all the enjoyment you have given me.. but all my farms are all for sale.

Wanted to let you know I will no longer be playing Farm Town. I will be a shadow in the forum to check to see if there anything NEW to interest me to come back to farming and wish Farmtown continuing success.

The game has become tedious and no fun anymore doing the same thing over and over again. plant the same things over and over.. try to keep storage of all crops..harvest, collect from others facilities.

Updates has to have more then more facilities and farms.

I feel the same as Deborah regarding flour and the enormous need for flour for a lot of products. I NEVER have enough FLOUR. I've got three mills...and, no, I don't have the fancy-dancy Farm Cash one... but I get tired of always planting WHEAT!

well you are wasting your wheat.....the stone mill produces 3x the amount of flour from 10 wheat so with respect u need to get a stone mill

And, once again, I will reply to a few of the posts that have been made concerning the huge amounts and increases needed for some of the products. (Canvas textile rolls, paper rolls, flour, cheese, metal sheets, etc...)

Please don't try to read between the lines or ASSUME you know my playing habits. I DO NOT keep my facilities 100% loaded 24/7 as you stated. Nor do a lot of my neighbors.

My statement and concern was simply loading only 1 of each facility once a week or every 10 days. This CANNOT be done with the amounts that are produced, or by having only 1 dairy plant, 1 textile mill, mineral mine, etc. I agree that it can be challenging (or frustrating).

If you choose not to have your facilities in production, that is just fine. That is the way you have chosen to play. Just don't criticize my requests or suggestions, when you don't have all the facts.

I am losing neighbors and it saddens me to see them go, some of us started together and now it seems I am the only one left in the group, I am happy for the neighbors I have and really want to keep them, I think its because they feel the game is becoming overwhelming and not enough new farm related items and new crops to grow. It would be neat to have water that moves and a train that will move around on the farm...I have no idea how hard that is to do but it would be cool... Your game is the best one on Facebook and the only one I play..Thank you for your hard work and making the game great....

If you need neighbors you can go to the social forum and there is a thread there for people needing neighbors. You mentioned the train, in the next 2 releases they are going to be coming out with a train commodity feature, not sure what it will be but we will see when it comes out. Kitt it's not about needing neighbours. That's easy to do. Sadly, I agree with Cindia. I too am seeing so many of my neighbours, some of whom began the game with me nearly three years ago, either leaving altogether, or just slacking right down to almost never on their farms anymore.

I also think Cindia is right about the reasons. For some the game has become totally overwhelming in terms of time to do everything to keep it going to the full extent, and we wait weeks and weeks between updates that keep the game interesting.

It's all very well to add an update once a month, but that's a very long time for players to keep coming back constantly when we've been given very few new toys.

It is very sad to see once consistent regular players leaving the game, not for a better game, but because this one is not progressing for some and becoming overwhelming for others.

the 5X5 harvest and plow icons are lit up, as if i had them, but i dont, not in storage, not in gift box...what does this mean?

Sorry I misunderstood your post, I thought they were lit up and you didn't purchase them, I must have been tired when I read your post.

If you would have bought them for a neighbor/friend they should be in the neighbors/friends gift box not yours, did the neighbor/friend look in their gift box for them and if so they should try to clear your cache and cookies and reload your browser and farmtown and see if they are there. If not you would need to check with a moderator and see what they have to say.

it is not in her gift box...they have to clear my cache? ;) and where would i send that message to?! i have no idea where to send any thing!! some of them get moved to i have no clue others have been deleted others still have been put in a thread that has been closed!! don't know where to start a thread for this issue! or if there IS a thread for this!!

You will need to report this to Support. Nothing can be done through the forums for refunds or replacements. To contact Support you go to your farm page, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on Support and fill out the form with the details of the problem.
Be patient as they may take anywhere from a few hours up to a couple weeks to respond depending on how many tickets they have in front of yours.
