I cannot buy all the train switch tracks. I tried to buy and then click on an empty space- a Loading Progress bar appears and I see a -500 flash on the screen. But no switch track appears. In other words, I WAS CHARGED FOR SEVERAL SWITCH TRACKS BUT DID NOT RECEIVE THEM! Also- the one I did get looks nothing like the picture.
First clear the memcache (link below), then close the unsetting text page and your farm if it is open. Then clear the browser cache and close the browser.

Because Farm Town is more of an interactive place then you may see the timeouts more prevelent in it but may not notice them on a normal website like Facebook itself.

Well this holds true if you own all 12 trains, but i only have ten trains and i look every time to see who boosted them under my game page (if you scroll down) and every time i count ten, my guess is, one person per trains. I NEVER counted 12, only 10 do my trains, except the one time i got to send it twice to my girl friend that time i only counted 9, i figure my gf counted as 2. Oh by the way, i still have the same issues with the red sprinkler, when i water the flowers become one day old looking and if i harvest my flowers, then water with the red they show fully grown, until i reload then its ok. Thank you

It does not matter how many cars you have on your train. The boost works the same for any number of cars. I do believe you are right in one respect. I believe it is only a maximum of 10 who can boost for 20 hours. I have never gotten over 10 at anytime for my boosts.

I am just going by what the game guide says, and it states 24 hours not 20 hours.

Taz I did a long exaperating diagnostic test on my pc and my satelitte with the company he helped me change a couple of IP settings and hopes this will fix any errors that may come up..wish me luck....

after all that work i am still getting connection resets every few minutes.. did all i know to do and worked on the ip and these other settings with my carrier for well over an hour the only site i am having any trouble from is FT...

You will need to contact Support for this as nothing can be done through the forums for it. To contact them click on the link below and fill out the form with as much detail as you can. Include how much Farm Cash the item cost. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours up to a few weeks for them to respond.

From Chrome for your track switches do the following:
Clear your memcache by clicking here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached), then when the page of unsetting text opens close it and your farm if you have it open, then clear your browser cache and close your browser. Reopen and look to see if they show.
For your flower problem it is a known provblem and the developers are looking into it.

I'm with you. All the new facilities and the airplane coming today???? I so need another farm soon...am not posting work in hopes all my facilities that have a bit left will empty themselves so I can store them in anticipation of that much needed farm 18.
Have too much trouble loading my farms if I have more than a couple of buildings along with crops and now with all the facilities we have I desperately need farm 18 just so I can make it like my farm 16, all industry...no planting of crops. NO FYI NOT even 1 of my farms are layered. The largest farms are 30 x 30. Can't see adding to troubles by going to 32 x 32, personally.

ALL cache for browser is cleared at end of each day.
FT cache (reset) is now cleared 1 x a week per Tony D's suggestion.
ALL animals in their respective buildings.
ALL items in my tools are unchecked, especially the dim/hide switch.
WF6 Browser: Google Chrome

I'm afraid many of us thought when told about a plane due to be released on the heels of the airline facilities that this would be another facility and tied in with the airline supply facilities...sorry was confused. Normally when new items are added to the store I can see them just by clicking on say facilities, scrolling down and wallah there are the new ones at the bottom! Did this with motion and facilities today as well as buildings, nothing new at bottom. So has FT changed where they'll be adding the new stuff??? Shoot this old gal here is confused now. :confused:

The only other plane was the private jet. Bear in mind that when new decorations are released, they are for different levels so if you have your store filter to "Level required" that's how they will be listed. Unlike the facilites, the new decorations will not be at the end of each list.

As to my scrolling to bottom golly this is how I've always since hitting top checked for new stuff in all categories. Hmmm I see from your response will now have to go through each one carefully looking for the new. Thanks for that info...

I added a Caboose to mine and I now get a message telling me that it isn't connected and any cars I try to connect after it will not work, but everything in front of those are working and doing the facilities.

I guess the sprinkler issue is still not solved... so I thought I would share another chapter As the Sprinkler Turns:D.......I had some flowers that were suppose to be ready tomorrow morning...harvested the crops planted crops and watered them with my orange sprinkler...and then flowers were ready to harvest...happy dance..... now the flowers say they are ready in 13.4 hours! I like this....:):eek:

Has anyone thought to 'change the oil' and filters on the farm machinery yet. Would that have anything to do with the waterers acting up like they have been doing?
Of course these are the newer models that are giving trouble now. But when I last bought a new lawn mower, there was no oil in the machine, and it made a terrible noise, until I read the instructions [If all else fails ---read the instructions----] which plainly said to put oil and grease, and transmission fluid in the proper places.

You do know that at least in the northern hemisphere, spring is coming and things like that need to be done before the gardening season gets here.
Also don't forget to check all belts and the tires.

Actually all of these things should have been done before putting tools away for the winter.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that our nice developers are working very hard to get things back on 'track' so they can fill our baskets with new goodies soon. So any help that we can give them [like keeping the oil changed] will pay off in many ways.

This is not a Farm Town problem. It is a Chrome and Adobe Flash Player problem.
What I did to fix it:
I did not have the latest version so the first thing I did was uninstall and reinstall the latest version.
Then I put dragon://plugins in the address line. And scrolled down to find Adobe Shockwave Player and Adobe Flash Player. The Shockwave had an update needed so updated that. The Flash was an older version too so I disabled that.
Closed Dragon and reopened and the text was now ok.

did you pick up the green fertiliser and then click on the farm? I have found that you have to do this for the fertiliser window to open, then you can choose which farms to do or do all at once...I now have all my farms synchronised and all are ready at the same time...

this is when you need to click on the memcache link...if one gives the expired message do the memcache and then do the rest after that. also send a message informing your neighbour so she can try and resend the boost

It would be nice to have the Easter items replace Valentine's Day in the Store. I am trying to decorate and have been waiting for the Easter fence since I missed getting to purchase it last year. Perhaps they could put the Easter things in the store now...even if new items and gifts don't come out until later.

There is still the issue with flowers - If you harvest ready flowers, THEN use the sprinkler to water them, they pop back up ready to harvest again. If you refresh the farm, they go back to just harvested. Also, while on a neighbor's farm working, flowers were showing ready to harvest, but a couple needed water, so I used the sprinkler, and the flowers then all showed NOT ready to harvest. I refreshed the farm, and they were back ready to harvest.

I own the red sprinkler which I use to water my farms however there are times when the flowers on the outer edges of my farms do not respond to watering this way and I have to use the watering can to water individual parts of the flower patches. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Is your farm with the flowers on by any chance a 32x32 size? Some members have had the same issue as your self, what you are already doing appears to be the only solution at the moment.

I can play Farmtown on my nook, but I only do so when I am on the road and I have to perform a step for a quest. The screen is smaller than I like plus open wifi is normally slow.
Ipad and Iphone apparently does not support Adobe Flash Player so you can't play Farmtown on those platforms.

2. 32 x 32 Farm Expansions for farms 15 - 17: Here are the prices -> 4,000,000,000 Coins or 30 FarmCash.

3. Belts and Dans for Facility Products: The next 10 Facilities (in order of appearance in the Store) now have Belts and Dans enabled for each product. With each Belt or Dan you achieve you will increase your chances of getting a "free" Batch automatically for every Batch you start from that point on.

4. Log Truck with Chainsaw 12 x 8 (FC): If you already own the Log Truck with Chainsaw 8 x 8, then you can buy this new Log Truck with Chainsaw to chop faster, up to 96 at a time.

5. Time Manager - A few days ago we added this new information:

Reaccelerate Trains (Gamewide tab)
Train Timings (Trains tab) -> Train timing is now already adjusted accordingly when it has been boosted by your friends
Minigame Reward Timings (Minigames tab)

6. Facility Manager Filter Improvement: The Dropdown filter in the Facility Manager has been upgraded to a full Window, from there you will have better filtering capabilities. For now, it has the same as it had before, plus you can also filter based on the Facility Type, for ex: Animal Buildings, Regular Facilites and/or Service Facilities.

7. - When using the Brown Sprinkler to Water neighbour flowers it now shows the farm names of your neighbour farms

- If you use the Brown Sprinkler to Water flowers, you can now use the other Sprinklers to accelerate growth right after that

- Sprinklers should now accelerate all plants in a farm, not partially

- Production Chain for Textile Mill adjusted, it is now after the Petrochemical Plant which is the one producing the Polyester Fiber

- We changed a few wording on the game and the Store so you can understand better the differences between the Brown Sprinkler and the Rest. The Brown Sprinkler is the Upgrate to the Watering Can, it just Water flowers in one click. The other Sprinklers are about Irrigation and accelerate growth and extend Gone to Waste time. As a bonus, the Sprinklers that accelerate growth also Water the flowers so you can do this 2 things at once, as there is no negative side effects in this case.

Based on this, we decided to have 2 different letters (status) in Farm Selector to indicate when you have Watered the flowers using the Brown Sprinkler that day (W), or when you have Irrigated the plants using the other Sprinklers that day (I). We did this same separation in the Time Manager. Also, on the farm, accelerated flowers/crops/trees will show an (I) instead of a (W).

Known Issues:

I own the red sprinkler which I use to water my farms however there are times when the flowers on the outer edges of my farms do not respond to watering this way and I have to use the watering can to water individual parts of the flower patches. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Is your farm with the flowers on by any chance a 32x32 size? Some members have had the same issue as your self, what you are already doing appears to be the only solution at the moment.

After you use your sprinkler, have you tried to refresh that farm to see if the flowers respond. Mine does that, the outer layers don't show watered, but then after I refresh that farm they are okay.

I've tried everything from refreshing to shutting down the computer and powering up again, I've cleared my cache and done all the maintenance things suggested without success. The only thing that works is using the watering can and I have no idea why!

That happened to me when I watered the flowers after they had gone quite dead. It did eventually fix itself though without intervention. I am wondering if the watering had something to do with it?

Just the people? Yes and those are called ghosts! I love them I check for them and ignore them then they go away. The added thing to do is to go to your account on top of the screen and unblock them. I don't understand why they do that but if you just refresh your farm they will go away then too. I love the ghosts!!!:D

Perhaps in the future, developers should only introduce one major new tool in a release, and not two. Problems with the new fertilizer, problems with the new sprinkler, have caused much aggravation to people who have put out big real bucks for these tools. Maybe if only one were released at a time, fewer issues would result. Maybe....

I love the improvement to the facility manager dropdown menu but you've made it almost impossible to use by placing the "help" icon on top of the "filter" icon. I have to carefully maneuver my mouse and then I still get "help" nine times out of ten! PLEASE separate those items!!!

The flower problem is still being worked on.
If I understand what you are saying about the fertilizing is when you look at the farm in the farm selector it is showing as not fertilized, but when you look at the crop on the farm then it shows that it is. This is normal.
When you fertilize you are fertilizing the farm for 3 days. Any thing you plant on that farm will be fertilized when it is planted and will stay fertilized until you harvest it. Even if that farm's fertilizer expires at the end of the 3 days, the crop will stay fertilized until you harvest it.

If you put the cursor on a crop and it has the (F) after it then it is fertilized.

Thank you Dev's for fixing some of the NON-Ingredients properties that kept them from adding up correctly. ....
This has been off for over half a yr as my photo album will show as I do screen shots of my bi-weekly selling as a bench mark of my progress. the photo on 1-29-13 a, b, c will show it was till happening this yr. Yes , it true, you can harvest the flowers, and water them and get them back and harvest them again. However, like crops, cloning the crops does not give you them in storage, same with flowers. on a reload, the amount will be removed or the true amount from server will be sent to client. Phantoms , that all. There is only a small or few that can benefit from this issue. Use them or LOOSE THEM.

Suggestion: It time for a redesign of the top area. my coins are in the billions, but show as millions. missing 4 places. XP is trimmed as well covering up . it time to move the farm name to a second row under the wrench allowing more room for these other to grow. The note can go by the floppy as well.
With all the top players in the Billion of XP, they deserve more room to show it. Top player to my knowledge is at 4,290,271,310 Points and the old limit on 'my neighbour' page should be fixed. She has more coins than I do as the trimmed totals are Level: 400, XP: 2147483647 Coins: 382132426598. When you play the game at this level (and several of the pro's do) your time to convert coins to xp goes down, (which is a part of the game and not cheating). And can we expect the count to go to zero on 4294967294 as it did to others? level 400 and a xp score of 0 or going up again. This sounds like a value format error where you define the string values in a define code.

That number is 2^32 - so the largest number an unsigned int can be. Can it be attempting to insert -1? Is Strict SQL Mode enabled? If not per the MySql manual:

If no restrictive modes are enabled, MySQL clips the value to the appropriate endpoint of the range and stores the resulting value instead.

hi, I just seen this, so you saying it is ok to play farm town on your ipad? My husband just bought me one and I would love that if you could.

He has to download iSwifter flash and access farmtown that way. It is quite clunky; I only use it when I am away from home. Moving from farm to farm difficult cause the little squares are too small even if he has a stylus. But I was able to download eggs and milk, etc.

Hard to believe, with only 4 days left, there is still nothing for St Patty's. I rather enjoyed the so-called "bug" which lasted for about a week, when we could type things in the Search, for various holidays, and they were available to purchase. I still fail to see why that was seen as a bug, and hauled out from under us. It would save a lot of anxious or just eager waiting on our parts. For those who are patient, good for you...lol...but 4 days before a holiday doesn't sound impatient to me, to be expecting things to decorate our farms with. :O

The flowers you see after harvesting are "ghost flowers". Even if you harvest them, you might see more in storage at first, but when you come back into the game a little later, it will have returned to the amount you should have by harvesting them once

Have you storing the bonus(es) from you giftbox individually instead of using the store all button?
