Not sure if you can help me with this but here goes. I'm looking at laptops to do FT on. The one I am looking at shows 2.8 Ghz (???) and Internet says "good for some games" but to check and look at the requirements. I'm so lost. I tried to look at the stuff when it is loading but don't see anything with the Ghz or whatever it is. Can someone just tell me if FT will run on that stuff. I'm not computer friendly. Thank you for whatever information you can give me.

As you don't include any additional information I am sure 2.8 GHz is the speed of the processor. If it says good for some games then probably it will work for FT. However without any additional information there is no way to say for sure that it will work.

I want to suggest a use for the XP's. How about letting us use those who have already maxed out our levels to purchase landscaping tools for trees, flowers? It's a real time waster to do it one by one and for some of us FC is hard to earn and we don't have a lot of money to spend.

Is there any issue with using Farmtown with Microsoft Edge. I noticed this is not in the list of available web browsers. My husband uses Microsoft Edge. It seems to have issue with some things. Like take coins when you plow a new farm, ask for a password to go to Farmtown, some earlier tools do not work (had to buy turbo tools instead). These are just a few things. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Hi PubsAngels,

There are no known issues with Edge browser at this time. If you have not already done so please make sure any browsers being used are regularly checked for updates as browser updates happen far more often these days than they used to years ago.

For any tools that don't seem to be working, check that he does have all them in his Item storage and they are not out on any farms. If any are out on a farm that can prevent him using them on every farm so he needs to add those to his storage.

Also check that he has not sold any tools.

If that's not what the issue is then we will need his USER ID to take a look at what tools he owns. He can find that by scrolling way down past his game screen and the yellow box under it and underneath the blue text he will see his USER ID.

Plowing new plots on a farm always costs coins.

If he has to login every day, is just closing the browser but NOT closing the browser tab that the game is open in, then it sounds like he needs to check his Edge settings for "Start" and change it to "Open tabs from the previous session". BUT if he clears the browser cookies or closes the tab the game is open in, before closing the browser, then he will still have to login to play.

One thing I should mention is that occasionally there can be a browser update that resets that Start option back to the default setting. At some point he may need to change it back to Open tabs from the previous session again. I haven't seen that happen very often though.
