Hi There,

1. Farm 29: See prices below:

12x12 - 10000000000 coins or 50 FarmCash (New Farm)
14x14 - 10500000000 coins or 20 FarmCash
16x16 - 11000000000 coins or 20 FarmCash
18x18 - 11500000000 coins or 20 FarmCash
20x20 - 12000000000 coins or 20 FarmCash
22x22 - 12500000000 coins or 25 FarmCash

2. Belt and Dans for the next 10 facilities: Postponed for the next release.

3. Super Storage Tools (35 FC): Green Super Storage Shed will make your item storage 6 times as big. Purple Super Storage Shed will make your item storage 8 times as big.

4. Neighborhood Chains Contest: This is a weekly contest where 10 Farmtown neighborhoods compete with each other by operating the longest and most productive facility chains.

Here are the rules and concepts:

a) Your neighborhood is just the collection of all your neighbours, that will be your team

b) A Neighborhood Chain for facility X is a subset of all the facilities X that you own plus the ones that your neighbours own

c) Every Thursday at 12AM EST, 4 facilities will be selected and 4 Neighborhood Chains will be automatically created for those facilities in your neighborhood

d) Groups of 10 neighborhoods each will be pre-selected *according to their strength* and will start competing

e) The winning neighborhood will be the one that earn the most XP points by producing or stocking goods on those 4 Neighborhood Chains

f) You can open the Neighborhood Chains Contest window using the blue mystery cube in your tool box or the one in the top left

g) In Farmtown you can have farmer X as your neighbour, but you may not be a neighbour for farmer X. Every time any of your neighbours works any of the facilities participating in the contest your Neighborhood Chains also benefits and increase the score as well.

However, every time you work any of the facilities participating in the contest you will increase your score, but you will only increase the score of farmer X if you are also his neighbour. For the same reason, every time you increase your score you are also helping the Neighborhood Chains of all the farmers that have you as a neighbour even if they are not your neighbours, this could be any amount, as there is currently no limit on the amount of neighborhoods that you can be part of, the only limit is in the amount of neighbours that you can have, which is about 90-120.

h) You have to be at level 150 or higher to participate in the contests

i) You can work your participating facilities anyway you like, using the Facility Manager, working them individually from a farm or using the 'Work' buttons inside the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen

j) Once you start the contest, the current neighbour list is the one that you will have until the end of the contest, meaning, if you delete or add new neighbours, that will not affect the neighbours you currently have contributing to your Neighborhood Chains until the next contest starts.

k) Players will be able to enter the contest during the first 4 days, from Thursday 12:00AM EST to Sunday 11:59PM EST

l) Your Neighborhood will be assigned to their competing groups at 2 times. For users starting the contest Thursday or Friday the competing Neighborhoods will be selected soon after Saturday 12AM EST. For users starting the contest Saturday or Sunday the competing Neighborhoods will be selected soon after Monday 12AM EST.

Notice that the fact that you may have less advanced neighbours in lower levels or with less facilities doesn't diminish your neighborhood chances to do well in the contest because we group the competing neighborhoods based on their strength. In other words, less advanced neighborhoods will be competing with other less advanced neighborhoods. More advanced neighborhoods will be competing with other more advanced neighborhoods.

These are the rules for the total amount of facilities you can have participating in a Neighborhood Chains Contest:

a) Of the 2 Coin facilities selected each week, you can have at least one of each participating in the contest, even if you don't have any FarmCash facilities participating in the contest.

b) Of the 2 FarmCash facilities selected each week, you can have as many as you own participating in the contest.

c) You can have as many Coins facilities participating in the contest as you have FarmCash facilities participating in the contest.

For example, if you have 1 Boat Yard (FarmCash), 1 Dance Club (FarmCash), 1 Bakery (Coins) and 1 Pizza Restaurant (Coins), you will have a total of 4 facilities participating in the contest.

If you then buy another Boat Yard (FarmCash) facility, and you had a second Bakery (Coins) facility on another farm, both, the Boat Yard (due to rule (b) above) and the second Bakery (due to rule (c) above) will be added automatically to your Neighborhood Chains and you will have a total of 6 facilities participating in the contest. If we can't find any additional Coins facility to add, you can buy one yourself and put it in a farm and it will be automatically added to the Neighborhood Chain and will start participating in the contest.

d) For any facility to be part of a Neighborhood Chain it has to be located on a farm.

e) At any time before the contest finishes, if you buy more of the 4 selected facilities and put them in a farm they will be automatically added to your Neighborhood Chains according to the rules above.

There are the rules for the rewards at the end of the contest:

- Rank #1: 2 FarmCash and 3 times the output of a selected Train Car
- Rank #2: 1 FarmCash and 2 times the output of a selected Train Car
- Rank #3: 100% of the output of a selected Train Car
- Rank #4: 70% of the output of a selected Train Car
- Rank #5: 60% of the output
- Rank #6: 50% of the output
- Rank #7: 45% of the output
- Rank #8: 40% of the output
- Rank #9: 35% of the output
- Rank #10: 30% of the output

We will be updating this feature in the following weeks.

5. Other Fixes and Improvements:
- Sometimes when you navigate to another farm, the farm selector will show most farms 26x26 in size. This will also affects the Farm Stats screen.
- Sometimes the Mobile Lookout Tower do not show all farms with work available in blue.
- Fixed Quest Chart errors due to daylight adjustments in the US
- Added more protection against bots that were affecting the game performance
- Show 'Not enough fuel' warning message when using multiplanter without fuel

6. New England Restaurant (FC): Produces food from the New England region of the United States.

7. Blacksmith Supplies Factory (Coins): Produces Blacksmith Supplies.

Forge Hood
Water Container
Firepot

8. Car Wash (FC): Provides Manual Car Wash Services and can be stocked with products from the Car Wash Supplies Factory.

9. Blacksmith Shop (Coins): This was an existing building (level 98) that was converted into a Service Facility and moved to level 345. Provides Iron and Steel Forging Services and can be stocked with products from the Blacksmith Supplies Factory and the Charcoal Retort.

10. A new Automated Car Wash decorative building was added to level 98 to replace the Blacksmith Shop that was moved to level 345.

- Fixed a bug in the Neighborhood Chains Contest that didn't allow you to have at least one of each Coins facility participating in the contest, and this was causing some X025 errors. You should be able to have one of each Coins facility participating in the contest even if you don't own any of the 2 farmcash facilities of this weeks contest.

- Fixed bug that caused that some of the purchased farm cash facilities were not added to the Neighborhood Chain. Next time you enter the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen it should be corrected automatically. Please report if this is not the case.

Post-Release Updates - April 10th, 3:00AM

- Your Neighborhood Score at the bottom of the 'My Neighborhood Chains' Tab, now match your Neighborhood Score in the 'Competing Neighborhoods' tab. Notice the 'Competing Neighborhoods' tab list all the competing neighborhoods.

Post-Release Updates - April 12th, 1:30AM

- Released some improvements to the Neighborhood Chains Contest:

a) Fixed some scenarios where FarmCash facilities were purchased and the amount of Coin facilities participating in the contest was not increased.
b) The second tab 'My Neighborhood Chains' now shows the current user at the top and the rest are ordered by Points in descending order.
c) Changed/added some texts in the interface of the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen to make it easier to understand.

Post-Release Updates - April 12th, 8:30PM

- The current user picture in the neighbour bar is now showing correctly
- Released some improvements to the Neighborhood Chains Contest:

a) Layout and cosmetic changes.

b) When you mouse over any of the facility pictures on any of the Tabs in the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen you will see a tooltip indicating the name of the facility, if it's a regular or a service facility and if it's a FarmCash or a Coin facility.

c) The current user picture in the 'My Neighborhood Chains' tab is now showing correctly.

- Released the Rewards for the Neighborhood Chains Contest.

Post-Release Updates - April 14th, 10:30PM

- Fixed more scenarios in the Neighborhood Chains Contest, where after a purchase of a participating Coins facility it was not added to the Neighborhood Chain even when the total amount of participating Coins facilities was less than the total amount of participating FarmCash facilities. This will be fixed for users the next time they open the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen.

- BugFix: Users that were on a level below 150 were not able to add facilities to the Item Storage.

Post-Release Updates - April 20th, 10:30PM

- BugFix: Fixed an issue that caused the farm sizes in the Farm Selector to show 26x26 for most farms and also this caused issues with the FarmStats as well.
- BugFix: Fixed a bug in the Mobile Lookout Tower tool that caused not all farms with work turning blue when visiting a Super Neighbour, this happened when you had less farms than your neighbour.
- BugFix: Some users with a total of 2 farms were having issues marking one of the farms private.

Neighborhood Chains Improvements:

- Added a comma ( , ) to the green numbers for better readability
- When automatically adding a Coin facility to a Neighborhood Chain, it will be added in the order that farms appear in the Farm Selector, for example if there is one Bakery in farm 2 and another one in farm 6, the one in farm 2 will be added first to the Neighborhood Chain.

- New Rules for sending Farm Cash gifts to friends in order to minimize the use of bots and fake accounts that are affecting the game performance:

1) If you have sent already 500 FarmCash or more in value to friends, counting Gift Certificates and FarmCash items, in order to continue sending Farm Cash gifts to friends, you need to have spent a total of $50 in the game since the beginning up to this date. (That is equivalent to buying 305 FarmCash or earn them by completing offers). If you have already spent that amount in the game so far, then this rule does not applies to you.

2) If your account is less than 6 Months old, you will have to buy at least 120 FarmCash (or earn them by completing offers) to be able to send FarmCash gifts to friends.

Post-Release Updates - April 28th, 2:15AM

- The next Neighborhood Chains Contest incorrectly selected a locomotive as one of the facilities, this was a bug and should not be happening anymore.

The locomotive was replaced by the Sandwich Restaurant.

To fix the problem for the users that already got the locomotive, reload the game and re-open the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen, then click on the Sandwich Restaurant 'Work' button. You may have to repeat these steps a couple of times, please report here if it doesn't get fixed.

Post-Release Updates - April 28th, 2:00PM

- BugFix: When fishing, if the water items had parts outside the farm and you clicked on those parts, the game was getting slower and slower as you continue fishing, possible crashing at some point.

- BugFix: When fishing, if the water items had parts outside the farm and you clicked on those parts with the Turbo Boat nothing happened. From now on, if you are fishing with the Turbo Boat you will be able to fish the whole water item even if you click on a part that is outside your farm.

- BugFix: The Farm Selector Manager was not showing all the farms for some users.

Neighborhood Chains Contest Improvements:

- You can now Sort by Score, Facility Count and Name
- You can now send offline messages to your neighbours from the 'My Neighborhood Chains' tab
- More detailed help from the Mayor including examples, when you click the 'Add More Facilities?' button.
- There are '?' signs on the top of the left column providing additional help about the content of the current screen
- There is a 'Missing Facilities?' button that will tell you if some of your Coins facilities are not participating in the contest.

Post-Release Updates - April 30th, 1:30AM

- Released 10 Mothers Day items, 5 on the top of the Mothers Day category in the Store and 5 at the bottom.

OK, I decided to give the Neighborhood Chains Contest a try. I started production in one of the 4 facilities (the Nutritional Supplement Store). Then I attempted to start production in a 2nd of the listed facilities - the Tile Outlet - and it says I don't own any Tile Outlets. That's not true, I have one on my farm 15. I reloaded the game, but it continues to say that I don't own one.

Update - aha, now I see that the game added one of my Dairy Processing Plants to the contest even though I did not click on it to "Work". Since I only have one Nutritional Supplement Store (FC) and don't own any of the other FC facility, I guess it's saying that I "don't own" any of the Tile Outlets since I can only have one coins facility in the contest. Shouldn't I be able to choose which of my coins facilities I want to have participating in the contest? I'm confused.

When i saw the new feature neighborhood chains contest, i thought wow more quests, I just stated something new like it in another game. But its not working, but I suppose you already aware of this issue. when I go in I click on a building I get a pop up error says ERROR SAVING DATA. ERROR XO25 CLICK THE GREEN DOT TO RELOAD GAME. So another feature gone wrong. I am sure it be fixed soon I can't wait until its works properly then I see how I get on.

Thank you for the updates! Love the blacksmith facilities, my Great-Grandfather and Grandfather were the village blacksmiths. I tried the contest, I only get an error message and my game reloads, look forward to trying it.

Nothing has changed for the farm stats requirements. If you are seeing your farm stats that your farms are showing incorrect sizes to what they actually are, exit your game an load it again and it should correct. This is being worked on.

Has she been playing the game today since before the release happened? If so ask her to exit the game and then load it again. She can then click on the store > facilities. change the funnel filter to "not owned" to see the new facilities.

I'm having the same problem as a few others I've seen on here.

I try to work the Tile Outlet and I'm told I don't have any :(
I know I have one on my Farm 10, where all of my service facilities are located. Additionally if I go to Farm 10 and attempt to buy one I'm told that if I buy another one it will only be for decoration - which confirms I have one :confused::confused::confused:

Not understanding the neghborhood chains contest. When I look in the my neighborhood chains tab none of my neighbors show as having anything to work. One of my facilities to work is the dairy. I know almost all of my neighbors have dairys. Is there something I'm missing?

Yes, if you have one of the two farm cash buildings you can only work one coin facility. I have several dairies but can only work one. I don't have the other farm cash facility so I cant work the other coin facilities. I have no interest in this one at all.

Am I reading the Chain rules correctly? If I have neither of the FC facilities, I cannot work the coin facilities I have? Says you can work as many coin facilities as the number of FC facilities you have.

I either get the can't save data error, or nothing at all happens when I click work on the other accounts I have access to...

The account that has both FC facilities, allows me to work one each of the coin facilities, and apparently works as it should.

Edit... And do we have to manually work the chain facilities each time we want to reload, or is it automatic once you start work?

I tried to do the community Quets, but every time I try to work one of the facillities I get the message : Error saving data. Error X025 Click the green tick to re load the game.
There is eithe an error or its because I don't own either of the FC Facillities, which I'm guessing must be the case. Ah! well, I'll get there in the end.

When I work the original quests and have employee lifeline I can work a friend's facilities and get credit for my quest without singling out the individual items. On Thursday can I START and LOAD all in my facilities and get credit for the Neighborhood Co-op?

I worked all the individual facilities listed but the cube up top is still bright blue. What does that mean? Thank you.

P.S. OK, once I exited FT and returned the blue lite went out. One more question - will we be told how many coins we're earning from neighbors?

I had to go thru the neighbor list to match the picture to actually get a real NAME to work their stuff ! Lot of work ... and if it changes weekly, I will be doing the same thing. I actually changed my avatar name to my real name to make it easier on those participating ....

They did not say it would be 2 regular facilities and 2 service facilities, but did say it would be 2 farm cash purchased facilities and 2 coin purchased facilities. So the Tile Outlet and Dairy Processing Plant are bot purchased in the store with coins, and the Boat Yard and Nutritional Supplements Store are purchased with farm cash.

You can only add more coin facilities if you have multiples of the farm cash facilities. So if you had 2 boat yards then you could add a second one of one of the coin ones.

Try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload.

The farm expansions showing wrong can sometimes be triggered by moving things to and from storage. All you need to do is exit the game and load it again and it should correct. This issue is being worked on.

- Fixed a bug in the Neighborhood Chains Contest that didn't allow you to have at least one of each Coins facility participating in the contest, and this was causing some X025 errors. You should be able to have on of each Coins facility participating in the contest even if you don't own any of the 2 farmcash facilities of this weeks contest.

Hi Storm,
Raul over estimated the number of neighbors. The neighbors limit is based on how many digits the database can hold, it varies because not everyones ID is the same length. ID's are normally 8 to 16 characters in length. so it can vary from 80 to 110. depending on the ID's of your neighbors. At the present time, it is a limitation of the game, and can't be increased.

To add more coin facilities to the contest you must own, and have on your farm (s) more of the required Farm Cash facilities.

The rule is that for every Farm Cash facility the contest requires, you can have the same amount of coin facilities in the contest. So if you owned 4 of the FC facilities, you could have 4 coin facilities in the contest as well.

If you had none of the FC facilities then you would be able to do 1 each of the coin ones. The same if you have only 1 each of the FC then only 1 each of the coin ones. I am not sure how your neighbor got to do 3 of the dairy processing. The developers are still working on some problems so that may not be the situation for them next time.
Judging from this time I would say the first 2 would be the FC ones and the 2nd 2 would be the coin ones. Don't think you will know what type they are until you click to work them. It won't be split between services and regular facilities as evidenced by this time with 3 service and 1 regular.

There is an issue that the developers are aware of where the farm sizes do not show correctly. Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

This problem may come back, but when it does just clear cache and reopen farm again and it should be fixed for a while.

You are correct about the neighbors.
I don't think that by not clicking on the blue dice will keep you from participating. I said that because the facilities do not have to be filled through the manager, so you will still be adding to the neighborhood.

I have just loaded up my fuel.. suppose to get 60,000 fuel. My worker stared to do my farms and only got through 2 farms and said have no fuel left.

fuel left is 64 gallons. and I have 8 fields left. and now have to wait a day to reload again.

never had this problem before always had enough till the next day harvest.

This game has so many problems. time to stop updates and correct bugs.. or time to move on.. borderline bored with same old updates and coming soon another field.

Spending to much time on the game doing the same old thing each day. Now battling bugs that make it harder to even keep up.

the easiest way to top up the facilities in this new neighbor chain is to use the first section that says "Contest Info" the facilities are listed at the bottom and its just a matter of clicking on them and then working each one. I have found that if you go to the second section "My Neighborhood Chains" you have to scoll to find your own farms, and after you work one, you then have to scroll again.. you don't have to do the scrolling if you do the first section..

I checked that out yesterday after starting, and loading through the facility manager does work for the chain... *Whew! That would have been a royal pain...

For those interested... The dog steps are just the right height to use with the New England Restaurant - which is sitting on a pier with no access from the ground... ;0))

I am having a problem with the Neighbourhood Contest. I have all four the required buildings one of which is a Dairy Processing plant. I have 7 Dairy processing plants but only the one on farm one registers on the work screen

What do i need to do ... I have run memcache and this made no improvement

Please check the funnel filter in your facility manager to make sure it is set to All facilities and All farms. Check the other settings there to make sure it is showing both regular and services.

Hi Beverduster, here are the facilities that are having the problems with posting properly:

Sugar Refinery
Oil Refinery
Chocolate Factory
and the Air Fresheners Factory

And the 3 Services Factories (clients) you cant post from are the:

Bike Shop
Trophy Shop
and the Tea House

For the time being you can post another facility/client accept these above.

There's really no need for an opt out, if you don't want to do them don't open up that particular dice icon to see what's going on. You can play the game as normal without having to change anything you do.

No you can not post from a private farm, you need to post from another one. If your friends have the 2 requisite trains ( to work all farms) they will be able to work your private farm, those friends that do not have the trians will not be able to visit that farm to work them, but if they manage to work 50% of the work the rest of your farms, the mayor might do the private farm for them.

You may add more facilities to the contest based on the following Rules>>

If you have none of the FC facilities for the contest then you can only use 1 of each of the coin facilities.
If you have 1 of each of the FC facilities, then you can still only use 1 of each of the coin facilities.
If you have more than 1 of the FC facilities, you can use those plus and equal number of coin facilities. For example, if you have 3 of the 2 FC facilities then you can use 3 of the coin facilities. You can only use as many coin facilities as you have FC facilities.

If you have it, try to put it into your storage, reload your game and then place the blacksmith shop on a farm. Then check if it is showing up in your facility manager.

If you have more than 2 of the Farm Cash facilities ( for example 2 boat yards and 2 nutritional ) you may have another 2 of the coin facilities ( dairy or tile outlet) in the contest. If you meet the requirements the game will automatically add them to the contest. You will see them by clicking on the "Work" button and it will show you which farms those facilities are on that are in the contest.

Please correct me if I am wrong. This is my understanding of the new Neighbourhood Chains Contest.

Once a week 4 facilities get selected by SK. This is comprised of TWO Farm Cash items and TWO coin purchased items.

So for now you can have 4 or less DIFFERENT facilities (depending on what you own) that you can work for your Neighbourhood. You can't have two of the same to make up the set of four facilities.

If you have ALL 4 facilities running you are eligible to include a THIRD Farm Cash facility which of course will allow you to then include another Coin one. These two will then give you the maximum total of 6 facilities allowed to enter.

You can buy the extra facilities if needed, at any time through the week and they will be included automatically for you to load up and post to work.

All facilities must be on farms and NOT in storage to be counted and worked. There is no pressure to go and buy facilities because your ownership and your neighbours ownership has already been taken into account and you will be automatically competing against similar ownerships.

Well I just loaded up my two coin facilities, posted them to be worked and will top them up and keep it going whenever I can. Sounds simple enough. If something good comes of this, then great because it's a bonus without having to buy or do too much extra.

Post-Release Updates - April 9th, 1:30AM

- Fixed bug that caused that some of the purchased farm cash facilities were not added to the Neighborhood Chain. Next time you enter the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen it should be corrected automatically. Please report if this is not the case.

Known Issues

- The facility counters for some users were reset to 0 by mistake, they will be restored to their original values once those users return to the game and open the Neighborhood Chains Contest screen.

- Please keep posting any issues you may find about the Neighborhood Chains Contest. We will start fixing them again on Monday.

- Farm 29 and Super Storage Tools will be released next week.

The Neighbour chains contest is an interesting addition to the game. I do feel we need to have an "opt out" option for this when we don't want to play. Then hopefully we wont get those neighbours who have no interest in playing as part of the team and I wont be in a team when I don't want to play.

I can foresee resources depleting with constant loading up facilities to try and get to the top of the chain.

I am happy to load up my facilities once or twice a week not everyday, and I realise this is only for 4 facilities, but do neighbours really want to work just 4 facilities when posting for work? I don't think so.

I have given the new contest a try. I don't really think I will be participating much but I will watch with interest how this will pan out. It is new and takes a little while for people to play and have an interest.

I do understand the confusion about the neighborhood chain quest, but I don't understand the complaints. As with all new things, there are bugs to work out, and they do get them resolved pretty quickly, I think.

But as for opting out, what's the point of that? Just work your facilities, or don't, as you always do and don't worry about that part of the game. You don't really have to do anything different with this new "thing" if you don't want to.

Working each others facs doesn't give you the points, but what it does allow you to do is load your contest facs sooner to give you more neighbourhood points. By the same token, if you neighbours facs are worked, they can also reload faster adding to your neighbourhood points.

The “Add more facilities” button just tells you the rules for adding more facilities to the contest. The rules are as follows >>

We don't have all the answers to your questions, all we have on the NCC is what Raul has posted in the first post. He has added more information so you may want to re-read them again.

The quests are totally separate from the contest.

The advantage of having friends work you facilities is that you can reload your contest facilities much sooner. The more you load them the more points you get for your neighbourhood. By the same token, working your neighbours facilities means that they too can load their contest facilities faster, which again earns you points for your neighbourhood.

The more you load/produce in those contest facs the more points you get. It does not matter if someone has less facs than you, if they are loading more often than you then they will get more points.

All your neighbours who have the contest facilities are in your neighbourhood. Every time they load their contest facs they will be adding to your neighbourhood score.

If that's the reason then it means in future contests if the contest facs happen to be hidden under other objects they will not count (???)...

My only problem I have had so far (since I am not really interested in the Neighborhood thing) is that the limitation on bots may interfere with the ability of those of us with disabilities to play the game. I had a stroke to the left side of my brain and am right handed, so I cannot play the game without an automatic clicker and FT just said 5 clicks per second is too fast. I know piano players often click faster than that because they have to play notes faster than that!!!

I had a look at your data and you have:

1 Nutritional supplement store (farmcash)
1 Boat Yard (farmcash)
5 Dairy proccesing plants (coins)
2 TIle outlet (coins)

So you are participating with 4 facilities. You have 2 farmcash facilities so you only can have 2 coins facilities in the contest.

If you want to add a farmcash facility then you have to go to the store and purchase it and place it on one of your farms. Then it will be automatically added to the contest. As Tiger stated, when you click in Add Facilities button you only get the rules for the amount of facilities you can have participating in the contest.

If you click in work button for that facility then you will see 2 of them on different farms to work.
Also one of your coins facilities will be added to the contest.

Neighborhood Chains Rewards

The inaugural neighborhood chain contest is not going so well point wise. My neighborhood is falling quickly to last place. Sooooo here's hoping for there will be some kind of participation reward. :D

I certainly intend to keep participating in the neighborhood quests. Seven years ago Farm Town was a ground breaking new kind of game - and still is - that's what interested me from the beginning.

Raul and devs - thanks for a great game. Keep up the innovation! A special thanks to the mods who have been patiently answering all our questions. :)

Working other people's facilities does not up your score. It ups there when they refill after you have worked them. Same when they work your 8 and you can refill faster then your score goes up when you refill.

This Neighbourhood Chains contest........... Im sorry - its a great idea but I really cant get drawn into it at the moment. I dont stock my Facs every day - maybe once a week but I feel with this I have to so I dont let my neighbours down. I dont want to feel that way!! So apologies any of my neighbours who see this but I am just going to carry on as always. Devs would love it if you could include and on/off button for this thing. The Quests are fine - I am happy doing them so please DONT include them in the off switch :D

Has she been playing the game today since before the release happened? If so ask her to exit the game and then load it again. She can then click on the store > facilities. change the funnel filter to "not owned" to see the new facilities.

She tried that already and did not see them. I should have mentioned she is also afraid to clear her Farm Town cache and try again as she thinks of herself as computer illiterate. Perhaps, however, she was just looking for them too soon after the initial release and just needed to wait a few hours. Since I have not chatted with her much the last few days I have not had the chance to ask! :)

The issue has now fixed itself. I finally got a chance to ask since she has gotten back to farming. It's amazing how busy one can be while dog sitting!

I think with the growth size of each farm and number of farms, the next release should include the option to buy bigger tools. I was disappointed to not see that as part of this release.

Marymarcel is not available right now.

If you are using the contest screen and clicking on the work button, it only opens that specific facility. You can use the start all in there.

Using the start all in the Facility manager at the top would start all your facilities.

If you open your yellow tool box and then click in the bright blue dice for Neighborhood chains contest, you will see 3 buttons at the top of that screen. Click on the third one (Neighborhood Ranks) and you will see your avatar picture, your avatar name and your rank (your position). You can also see you rank at the botton left of that screen in green.

Is there any chance of reducing the number of clicks required to work the facilities in the Neighborhood Chains Contest???? Currently, it takes 5 clicks per facility, not counting the clicks to open and close the contest itself. Those of us with carpal tunnel symptoms appreciate any moves that reduce clicks.

That is not necessarily a disadvantage. For example, the neighbourhood winning in my contest has less facilities than we do. It's all about the points you make keeping those contest facs loaded. The more often you and your neighbours load/produce in those contest facs the more points you get for your neighbourhood.

Like you I dont have all farmcash facilities, and I dont have the 2 required for this week, so I am only participating with 2 coins facilities. But you get points for your Neighborhood by refilling your facs as soon as possible, and you can do that by posting them so your neighbors can work and acelerate the times.

And remember you will be competing against other neighborhoods with similar strengh than you.

Will our neighborhood chain be different each week? The reason I'm wondering is because my chain is not doing so well - we're at #8 now. What I'm finding is that there's no incentive to play unless I feel like our group has a chance of winning. I figure we all pretty much have the same number of FC facilities and we all play the game pretty much the same each day - so if I'm with the same group each week and competing with the same other groups, it's pretty much a lost cause. I'd really enjoy being able to play but it's no fun if you sort of KNOW you're not going to win before you start.

Also, I noticed another farmer asked if she could opt out and she was told no. That actually might help. Farmers that aren't interesting in playing at all hurt those people who do want to play. I think they should have the ability to opt out. Otherwise, people are going to "de-neighbor" them and stuff. Creates a "feel-bad" kind of thing instead of a "feel-good" one.

1 hour ago farm stats shows incorrectly. For instance it says I have more than 1000 white roses ready in farm 2 and 5 but when I check, its 4,5 hours left for them to be ready...

Hi. I like the Neighbourhood quests but I have many friends/neighbours that are only filling the chosen facilities and leaving the rest either empty or almost depleted. It is so time consuming and frustrating working ALL of them for just a handful of goods. Would be fantastic if we had the choice of only posting facilities for chosen farms (for example). Some players have 28 farms with facs on them and we don't know what we find until we click to work and get the nasty surprise.
