Thanks Tiger. The duplicates are not on the same farm. They are on other farms. They are not showing up within the NCC Contest itself. They are un-checked, not functioning - technically they shouldn't be considered. However, because I "own" them, they can get chosen if I buy more FC facs, and that's what I'm trying to avoid. As they are not on the same farm as the one in the contest then you can sell the other ones.

Ones that are already showing up as part of the NCC can't be stored to move to a different farm. You do get a warning popup if you try to store a facility in the contest, but some will make a mistake and assume it's just a confirmation message to proceed to store and have missed that the warning states that it's part of the NCC.

To double check, I have just bought an extra one for a different farm, checked it didn't show as one in the NCC, then sold it. I had no warning that it was part of the NCC. I then reloaded the game and I haven't abandoned the contest.

I would just be careful and sell them before you buy any other facilities that could be used for the NCC.

Have an issue with the Neighbourhood Chains contest. My husband started doing this last week and all was good. Yesterday he loaded his facilities up before opening up the chain quest. Realised his mistake - opened up the quests and collected rewards, thanked friends etc... Then on the contests info page went to one of the buildings he hadn't filled up and filled it from there. However the Chains tab is still greyed out. He tried various times during the day and again this morning - filing up the facilities from the chains page but it is still greyed out. NCC is enabled. Any ideas?

Having trouble with my facilities on the NCC. When I refill them from the contest page, the new amounts don't go in. I have tried reloading, using a different browser, emptying my cache, all the usual things. Also, one of my neighbours messaged me that ALL my facilities were showing up empty when he tried to work my farms from my get more clients and help with production wall posts. When I go to the what's in production and what's in stock tabs through the NCC, the tabs show empty facilities but show up normally if I go through the facility manager.

I can't figure this out. I currently own 3 Taste of Bulgaria service facilities. However, it shows I have none on my farms. Is this a glitch? I don't think I have ever had that happen before. They are all active.

Please do not put your email address in your posts as we do not need it to answer you and this is a public forum so anyone can see you email address if you add it to your posts.
You have 2 Confectionery Factories (FC) and 2 Beekeeping Supplies Factories (FC) for a total of 4 FC facilities. You have 4 balloon bust booth facilities (coin). So you can not have any Taste of Bulgaria facilities in the contest because you can only have as many coin facilities in the contest as you have FC facilities.

I would like to think a lot of players would be interested in this, a tool that allows you to fill all of the facilities you own in the NCC. It is rather slow having to do them all individually, when it first started most people had one of each or less, I have seen of late people with 30 plus, I think it is a nightmare loading my eight!!! I moved your post to the Help & Support thread about the NCC to answer you as we can not answer in the Suggestions section.
You do not have to fill your facilities for the NCC from the NCC manager indivcidually. You can fill them from the Facility manager using any of the tools you have for that and they do count for the NCC. There is also a way to filter the facility manager to show and fill only the NCC facilities in the funnel filter there.

I have moved your post to the thread about the NCC.
Are you still having problems?
What facilities are you seeing when you open the NCC?

Please supply your user id, it will be showing up below the yellow box underneath your game screen We need to double check that we have the correct id for you.

The id we have for you shows that you have been participating the last 3 weeks and that currently you have one Fish Market and one Veteran Supplies in this weeks contest. The Veteran Supplies at the time of this post is currently showing 252 points added.

You have no FC facilities in this weeks contest so you can only have 2 coin facilities in the contest.

As you have far more than one of each of those you will need to make sure that you are filling the correct two specific facilities that are showing up in the NCC so that you are not using up ingredients in all the other facilities that are not part of the contest and possibly running out. The NCC window will show you which farms those 2 facilities are on so that you know which ones need to be filled first to earn points.

If you are filling the NCC facilities using the Start All and Load ALL at the top of the Facility Manager, please check that the Funnel filter in the Facility Manager is set to show all facilities on all farms or it may not be seeing all the facilities.

Then also in Facility Manager please search for the specific facilities in the NCC and make sure that there is a check mark showing on each facility, then open each of them and make sure that all the check marks on each product they make or stock are also there. Missing check marks prevents facilities or products from being made/stocked in them.

I moved your post from Suggestions so I could answer you.
There is an option in the Preferences already for Enable NCC. When it is checked then you are doing NCC. When it is unchecked you have disabled the NCC.
There isn't a list of neighbors for the NCC. Any of your neighbors who are participating in the NCC will be on your list. There is no limit to how many of your neighbors can be on your list for your team. Those who do not do much or don't have a lot of facilities still count toward your total and also increase how many points you get when you fill your own facilities.

The only way for you to abandon the NCC is if you moved any of the NCC facilities to storage or other farm after opening the contest.

Yes, that is the case for everyone, The NCC can only be entered between those 2 times. When the game was restored, it was already too late to enter this weeks NCC. Come Wednesday/Thursday at Midnight EST, the new week will start.

I don't know exactly how they are doing it, but apparently they are holding off until after the teams have been selected before filling their facilities and getting a lot more of their friends (maybe secondary accounts) to start the contest at that time. There isn't anything we can do concerning either of those.

When one of your neighbours buys a FarmCash facility participating in the contest, or a Farm Cash facility and the corresponding extra Coin facility allowed, you will see a red counter next to that neighbour and you will also have a chance to thank the neighbour for that contribution to your Neighbourhood Chain.

When your neighbor opens their own NCC, they will see your thanks and some products sent by the Mayor.

This time around, I played as usual, but I am not even on the list. Not the top 10. even though I was working those facilities? I have 10 players on my list, none of them is me. Which list are you talking about? The "My Neighborhood Chains or the Competing Neighborhoods?
You have to be in both lists or you would not even see the lists. You do have points for the contest and it does not show you have abandoned it. Anyone who plays will be in a Competing Neighborhoods list of 10 neighborhoods.
Your entry in both lists should be highlighted in yellow.

I have moved your post to the help and support thread for the neighborhood chains contest to address that question first. I will give you the link in this post so you can find the post about your gift issue.

If you moved a facility that was in the contest, perhaps to move to another farm, that causes you to abandon the contest. Any facilities in the current NCC week must stay on the farm they are on until the contest is over. I am sorry but there is no way to get you back into it.

In the future, if you have more than one issue, please try to put each issue in a separate post and try to post each one in the relevant thread for that issue.

Could you have been moving any facilities to other farms or storing any since the contest started?

The reason I ask is because what can cause you to abandon the NCC contest is that once the facilities are entered into the contest, you must NOT move them to storage or to another farm. If you do, the facility will be removed from the farm, and you will be terminated from that weeks contest.

In order to remain in the contest, the facilities that are chosen for the NCC must remain on the farms they are on during the whole week of the contest until it is over and you have claimed any rewards. An example of that warning message is shown in the first post on page one of this thread.

Some farmers don't always read the full contents of that message as you also get a similar warning when you store any facility, that doesn't mention the contest, so sometimes they think it's just the normal one about losing products if any are still pending and not stored.

I am sorry but there is no way to get you back into this week contest.

Today aven after waiting for over 8 hours, all my neighbors/friends are still showing in pink even though it has been well over 12 hours since I worked them last. I am baffled, and very dismayed at not being able to compete during these last few hours of the competition. The clock on my farm is stuck at 8 hours. Thanks for any info. Pam

Hi Pam,
If you worked any facility posts it resets the clock to 8 hours from the time of the last one you worked. It is not that you don't work an individual's facilities for 8 hours to reset for the individual. You must have a complete 8 hours of no facility work at all for the time to complete and all be reset.
Working their facilities does not add points for the neighborhood chain contest. Points are only added for refilling facilities not for working on them for neighbors.

Not showing all of my NCCs in Facility manager or NCC. I have 12 of each of the FC facilities but only 6 and 7 of the corresponding Coin Facilities. I bought 11 of each of the FC facilities and they are not showing up in facility manager. It is like they do not exist.

Unfortunately no it did not help. I restarted my computer and now even my flavored popcorn facility is not showing up :-(

Not showing all of my NCCs in Facility manager or NCC. I have 12 of each of the FC facilities but only 6 and 7 of the corresponding Coin Facilities. I bought 11 of each of the FC facilities and they are not showing up in facility manager. It is like they do not exist.

If that doesnt fix your problem, then go to your farm 9 and start a batch in any product inside the Tea factory and see if it is added.

Since she doesn't have a Purple Hand I placed on her farm. Went to her Facility Manager and it shows up there but it doesn't show in the NCC contest. Tried to clear cache in both FT and my browser did nothing. Had a similar problem like this, last week and it took a full day for the facility to show up in NCC. Saw the post by Raul about this being fixed at the bottom of the Jan31 announcement.

Your NCC is showing that you have these in the NCC:

4 Disability Supplies Factories, 1 Artisan Soap Shop (5 FC facilities)
3 Art Studio, 1 Special Needs School (4 coin facilities)


Your data is showing that you only own 3 Art Studios and they are on Farms 10,11,16.

Farms 13,14 and 15 do not have Art Studio on them. I am seeing other facilities on those farms that would show up if you were to use the search tool and ONLY type in the word Art as the search criteria. For example Farm 13 has the Artisan Jewelry Studio not the Art Studio.

There is never a need to be embarrassed when anyone asks for help! It makes no difference if someone is a long term player or a new player, sometimes we just forget things, it's not a problem.

When you decide which coin facility you want to add to make it up to 5 coin facilities make sure it shows up in the NCC. If it doesn't show up for some reason let us know which facility you added and which farm it's on.

According to your data you have:

.- 1 Indian Trading Post (FC)
.- 3 Polish Pub (FC)

So you have a total of 4 Farm Cash facilities

AND

.- 2 Sugar Refinery (Coins)
.- 2 Realtor Shop (Coins)

For a total of 4 Coins facilities.

For NCC you can have the same amount of coins facilities than the amount you have in Farm Cash Facilities. In your case you have 4 farm cash facilities and 4 coins facilities.

There have not been any rule changes to the NCC that we are aware of. You had to have opened the NCC to see that you had abandoned it. It is showing that you had earned some points before that happened which if you did not start/load from the NCC manager may be from doing them from the facility manager or other methods.

If you are sure that you did not move or store any of the facilities in this weeks contest then please report this to the support team (http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/settings2/support/) to look into.

I doubt it was moving the facilities for that farmer that did it, but if you think it was, then you still go to support.

As you moved the Ice Cream Shop on your own farm that's much more likely to be the cause.
As you know, there is no way to re-enter it.

The new NCC week starts on Thursday 12AM EST and at that point you must not move them. Not claiming the previous weeks reward doesn't prevent it starting. It does prevent you seeing what the weeks facilities are going to be which is why you used a different account to find out.

There was a trick mentioned on the forum many years ago along the lines you are describing, just not that exact method, and we did say at that time there was no guarantees that it would work every time and would likely have removed the instructions from the post. As you know we can't provide information on any trick including this one to avoid entering the NCC once the new week has started.

Im not sure how your are kicked out of the NCC while you are going through your neighbors bar checking the cooperative quests.

I never had that problem using the neighbor's bar left to right or right to left but I always set the bar to Show by Cooperative quests. Do you do the same?

You started the NCC today Saturday 04/15 that is why you are not seeing the other teams.

These are the rules:

. For users starting the contest Thursday or Friday the competing Neighbourhoods will be selected soon after Saturday 12AM EST.

I have just checked several farmers who earned the 1st place and posted to Facebook, they have received the correct amount of 2FC.

At the time of this post your data is showing that you earned 2nd place and 1FC claimed.

Did you post your NCC reward when you earned it? Have a look and see if it is saying you earned 1st or 2nd place.
You could also ask a friend to check the Other Wall Requests page and see if your reward there is showing 1spt place or 2nd.

When you purchase the facilities did you purchase them while on the farm you were going to leave them on or did you purchase them and put them in storage to move to the farms you were going to place them on?
If you purchased them and put them in storage to move to the farms you wanted to place them on then that is why you abandoned the contest.

If you have NO FC facilities or ONLY 2 FC facilities in the contest you can only have 2 coin facilities in the contest so it will only show you 2 coin facilities even if you own more than 2 coin facilities.

When you add more FC facilities to the contest, at that time, it will then also add more of your coin facilities to the contest.

As far as we know, any change you do after you started the new NCC for the week doesnt apply for that week.

That means that if you added new neighbors, they will be added to the next week NCC. That makes me think that if you change a neighbor for a buddy, should happen the same.
I have never changed a neighbor for a buddy after having the NCC started, but if you did, then you will be able to check on that.

They are 2 different things. The Neighborhood Chains Contest is a contest that you can compete in for prizes. The Facility Chains is where you can get and send extra products from the facilities and services to your neighbors who are participating in this feature.

The Science Supplies you bought will not show in your NCC because you already have 2 FC facilities and 2 coin facilities in it. You can not have more coin facilities than you have FC facilities. For it to add you would have to buy another FC facility to add.

There is no way for us to see your picture.

Anyway, you need to check the other neighborhoods as soon as they are selected when they should show similar strengh.

Please remember that neighbors can start the NCC till Sunday at 23:59 PM so some of them will have more people added after they are seleted.
Also, you and the others can add more facilities so numbers can change quickly.

Put the people that play ALL DAY LONG together, and those that play as a game against each other. If you can't see that, then something is clearly wrong. Even when I sit here for hours and do nothing but post and work facilities, we get nowhere. Pretty much why I will not be participating in them anymore except to help out someone.

I'm not sure but I think that the coins facilities added depends in which farm they are placed.

So if you have the second restaurant let say on farm 2 and the other coin facility on farm 6, then the restaurant is added. And viceversa.

Please remember that you cant move the competing facilities to other farm or you will be done with the contedt for this week.

Your neighborhood is made up of you and your neighbors who play NCC.

Your neighborhood will compete against 9 other neighborhoods, that hasn't changed so I don't understand what you're saying about adding other neighborhoods.

About adding facilities or how many facilities you are able to have in the NCC, these are the rules:

- If you have none of the FC facilities for the contest then you can only use 2 coin facilities.

-If you have 1 of each of the FC facilities, then you can still only use 2 coin facilities.

-If you have more than 1 of the FC facilities, you can use those plus an equal number of coin facilities. For example, if you have 3 of the 2 FC facilities then you can use 3 of the coin facilities.

You can only use as many coin facilities as you have FC facilities.

The reason I add friends as neighbours is because they are good players and contribute a lot to the NCC and vice versa. I have mentioned this before. There are so many people playing FT so why pit neighbours against neighbours it's not right. I enjoy the game and know that glitches will eventually get fixed, but I hate it when I am up against my own neighbour!!!!!!!!!! it takes the fun out of the game

Nothing has changed about the way Neighbourhoods are selected.
No-one has any control over what anyone is willing to do and how much they can contribute to the NCC contest. There will be times when some farmers can earn a lot of points and there will be times when they may be far more busy and can not contribute as much that week.

Your neighbour is still helping you with your own contest the exact same way they would if they were not showing up in the Competing Neighbourhood.

Even if there were enough participating in the NCC and it was possible to not show any current Neighbour in a competing Neighbourhood that still does not guarantee anything about your own Neighbourhoods ability to earn points or what the Competing Neighbourhood may be able to earn. You could still be competing with those that could earn as many or more points than your own Neighbourhood.

If you have not already done so, you can post your request for what you would like to see changed in the NCC in the relevant post related to your idea in the Suggestions area (https://r1.slashkey.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2) of the forum where the developers will see it.

Nothing has changed in how the contest is set up and run. Your neighborhood is all your neighbors who play and they are on your team. That has not changed. The 10 neighborhoods chosen to compete against each other are chosen at random among those neighborhoods that closely match yours at the time of selecting. That has not changed either. Sometimes a neighbor of your is chosen to compete against you as each of your neighborhoods closely match and there are not enough other choices to fill out the 10 teams. That also hasn't changed.

Yoou contribute to your contest at a much higher rate than your neighbors do because of the way it is set up. This might explain it:


How points are calculated:

Each XP your neighbour earns contributes 1 point.
Each XP you earn, will contribute as many points as the number of neighbours you have participating in the contest.
Example:

If you have 100 neighbours in the contest and each of them earn 1 XP, then your neighborhood score will be 1 * 100 = 100 points.
Then if you earn 1 XP yourself, this will add 1 * 100 = 100 points to your neighborhood score.
100 (your neighbours score) plus 100 (your score) gives you a total score of 200.


This makes your individual effort as important as the total combined effort of all your neighbours in the contest.

So it seems like they are not contributing high enough amounts compared to what you are contributing.

It depends on how many of the NCC facilities they have in the contest. You may have somebody who is on line all day and refills and posts often but it they only have 1 or 2 of the facilities for the contest then they are not going to contribute a lot. You may have others who have many more facilities in the contest and they will contribute higher amounts.

No-one has any control over what anyone is willing to do and how much they can contribute to the NCC contest. There will be times when some farmers can earn a lot of points and there will be times when they may be far more busy and can not contribute as much that week.

Your neighbour is still helping you with your own contest the exact same way they would if they were not showing up in the Competing Neighbourhood.

Even if there were enough participating in the NCC and it was possible to not show any current Neighbour in a competing Neighbourhood that still does not guarantee anything about your own Neighbourhoods ability to earn points or what the Competing Neighbourhood may be able to earn. You could still be competing with those that could earn as many or more points than your own Neighbourhood.

If you have not already done so, you can post your request for what you would like to see changed in the NCC in the relevant post related to your idea in the Suggestions area (https://r1.slashkey.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2) of the forum where the developers will see it.

(Nothing has changed about the way Neighbourhoods are selected.) Maybe they should change. I feel the developers don't listen. In fact, I know they don't because I have posted about this issue before. Why should I bust a gut to help my neighbours who I think are helping me when really, I am helping them to get ahead and getting 1st or 2nd place. I didn't play NCC once for a whole week and I had neighbours saying to me they didn't get 1st or 2nd because of it. My main point is I add neighbours who contribute so much to NCC for my benefit so why should they be pitted against me in another NCC. It's not right. No point in putting it on the suggestions board if developers are not going to take any notice. well, there is no if about it, they won't. I spend a lot of money on this game because I do rate the game as the best ever game around and I don't play any others. Most of the time, I enjoy playing but this issue continues to bug me. Maybe I should just not play NCC at all. Sorry to sound so despondent and complaining but this issue does put a damper on the game.

I'm sorry but we can't fix anything about your NCC. The only rule for the Neighborhood Chain contest is that you can't move a facilitiy from one farm to another. If you do, then you are quitted from the NCC for that week.

From our Game Guide:

IMPORTANT: Once the facilities are entered into the contest you must NOT move them to storage or to another farm. If you do, you will see a warning message that tells you that you are in the contest and that storing the facility will make you abandon this weeks contest . If you proceed, the facility will be removed from the farm, and you will be terminated from that weeks contest. In order to remain in the contest, the facilities that are part of a Neighbourhood Chain must remain on the farm during the whole week of the contest.

The rules for the NCC are the following:


If you have none of the FC facilities for the contest then you can only use 2 coin facilities.
If you have 1 of each of the FC facilities, then you can still only use 2 coin facilities.
If you have more than 1 of the FC facilities, you can use those plus an equal number of coin facilities. For example, if you have 3 of the 2 FC facilities then you can use 3 of the coin facilities. You can only use as many coin facilities as you have FC facilities.

In your case you only have 1 farm cash facility (Spanish Restaurant) and 2 coins facilities ( Food Ingredients Factory). That is why your Orphanage was not added to the NCC

Hi John,
Both FC and coin facilities can give roughly the same amount of points. Doesn't matter if they are for FC or coins. The contestants are chosen from what is available on the day they are selected with as close as possible the number of facilities each have in their teams. If they are among your contest competitors then there were not enough who had as few facilities as you. There has to be 10 in each group.

Unless you have a different way for the program to select them then there is nothing that the developers can do to change the way they are selected. If you know a different way to select the contestants then please post it in the Suggestions section.

You will alwasy be at the top of your own neighbors chain (middle tab) because you get extra for how many neighbors you have in that.

It is up to the developers whether they make any changes to how the contest. The competing teams are opick among those available at the time of selection to be the closest in equality of points. What the teams do after that point can change that as they can add more facilities or more neighbors join their team which can push them ahead of you. There is nothing that can be done by the developers to make it any more equal.

No it doesn't matter. You have the correct amount of facilities showing for the NCC.

The red numbers are just information, they don't count for anything else. You will still be getting thanks when farmers send you them for adding facilities, you don't get more products in the individual thanks for adding more facilities.

This is not an NCC problem though. Are you working all facilities when she works and not just the farms with those facilities on them?
Do you have more Data Centers and Yard Supplies than you have in the NCC? If you are not working all farms and have more of each of those then you may be missing the ones that are in the contest.

I thought Squeak was working all the facilities but maybe I don't understand how it works. Here's what I'm doing:

I would suggest to continue dispatching the train. Just think that with every long car you add to the train, then the mayor will work 5% more of the facilities in a farm.

If you could add 8 more long cars to the train for Squeak, then working other facilities would be faster.

You can only have as many coins facilities as farm cash facilities you have in the Neighborhood Chain Contest.

You have:

- 1 Filipino Restaurant (FC)
- 1 Animal Shelter Supplies Factory (FC)

and

- 2 Turron-Nougat Factory (Coins)

That is why the Liquor Store has not been added to the NCC.

In order to get the Liquor Store added to the NCC then you need to buy 1 of the Farm Cash Facilities.

The rule for adding facilities is you can have as many coins facilities as farm cash facilities you have in the NCC.

You have 1 of each FC facilities for a total of 2.

And you have 2 Turron-Nougat Factory (coins facility) for a total of 2

That is why the other 2 coins facilities (Liquor Store) were not added.

You would need to purchase 2 FC facilities to get the 2 liquor store added to your NCC

As we have explained you in other times, all of us can add facilities after the neighborhoods are chosen. Neither of us nor you, can know which factories they had at the moment the neighborhoods were chosen.

Also, not all neighbors start the NCC at the same time.

You get xp for filling and refilling your factories as much as possible and also get more xp from your neighbors when they fill and refill their factories.

The 8 hours are counted from the last farmer facilities she worked.

If she worked your facilities and let say 3 hours later she worked another farmer facilities then the times resets to 8 hours again.

To be able to rework your facilities again, she doesnt have to work any facilities for 8 hours to the second.

To be sure she can rework facilities, before starting working, she needs to load her own farm and check the times icon to see if Rework Facilities and Rework Service Facilities options have green check marks.

You don't add the neighbors to your contest team. They have to play the contest and they will automatically be on your team.

The Issue I am having is a facility I have, on 2 separate farms, not showing up in NCC. The Missing facilities are Crafting Supply Facility. I have one on farm 5 and on 32. It says in NCC that I do not have any! I am sorry if this is the wrong place for new issues but this forum is really confusing.

For the reason why the Crafting Supply Factories will not show is because you can not have more coin facilities that you have FC facilities in the contest. You have 2 FC facilities and already have 2 Nicaraguan Restaurans in the contest.

I just cleaned your NCC data. Please close and reopen your farms for that to take affect.

We did further checking and you do not have2 of the Milking Supplies Factory. You have 1 Factory and 1 of the Milking Supplies Store. They are not the same. Without the 2nd Milking Supplies Factory then the animal sports supplies factory can not be added.

Clicked on my neighborhood contest and it said "You have abandoned the contest for this week, next contest starts Thursday 12 am est". How can that be when I have been playing it right along?
