Please use this thread for suggesting ways to improve the hiring process. .

However, please bear in mind that with the many changes that have already been made to the hiring process a "fire" option is not going to be added as an option to the game.

Please remember NOT to comment, reply or quote any suggestion you see in these threads. This is to allow any member to feel comfortable about posting their idea regardless of whether or not it would be popular with other members or farmers!

All comments about other member suggestions, replies to them or quoting them will be removed by the moderators.

Periodically the developers will ask the moderators to clear all the suggestions out.
This means that the developers have reviewed them and made notes about them.
Currently suggestions made prior to March 20, 2024 have been removed.

My helper account was just hired to do about 30 farms of hp w2w fish and chop. It took 100 clicks to hp 1 farm. She was hired a few weeks ago to do 40ish farms of 9 x hp and was only given the blue coin tools. She would not have accepted either job if she had known, my suggestion is that either we know the size of tools before accepting a job or jobs can not say 'with tools' if tools are too small for the job. I hate leaving a job unfinished and this would help prevent it.

If we could hire to harvest, plow, and plant having the crop replanter implement and locked to planting the same crops, might be nice. If I can do this please let me know.

When hiring someone to work my farms, I tend to select the farms by columns to spread the work. I'd love for there to be an option to select columns, like a select all for column A, B and/or C. Additionally, though this may be extremely unpractical to do, I would love to have a feature that would select all the farms that have trees ready to chop.

I've notice a lot of people do not use - or do not use appropriately - the coloring options when in the Job Market. I wish that it was more clear to the users how the colors help those that want to hire or work. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to hire someone with the red background and the background turns yellow after waiting for a response for a bit. I also think new players have a hard time because they don't know using the colored backgrounds helps others know what they are in the Job Market for.

i like the idea of being able to work both the regular and service factories in one click - but having 4 dispatched trains in order to work them in 1 click is to much because most people cant afford at least 40 of the trains that are part of the ones that are "workable" - my idea is to reduce it done to 2 trains like it is for the mayor to work some of the factories or to have a "tool" that people can buy to be able to work both at same time - and instead of around the normal 30 FC to increase the cost to like 40-50 FC because like i said most people dont have the FC to buy at least 40 train cars at the price of 35 FC for at least 40 train cars (totaling at least 1400 FC)

I have two SN and they keep fighting over my fishing. It would be great if, in the future, maybe we can select which farms our SN's can work. That way we can share out the fishing and anything else. Thank you :)

I think you should implement a system to encourage farmers to offer jobs at the Job Marketplace. Currently there are not enough jobs for the amount of persons playing the game. Its very often that players spend an hour or more at the Job Marketplace without bagging a single job.
It might be the result of having super neighbours therefore giving improved benefits to those who hire people at the Job Marketplace would improve the situation.

When working factories or referring clients to service facilities, there are too many dialog boxes. why do we need he two dialog coxes before starting work? Don't we already know why we are there? At least put in a "don't show this message again' option.

I think there should be a fire button where you can click on fire and remove the person from your farm terminating the hire when they are not doing a great job. It could be implemented in the message envelope in the show names.

I don't know why this has never been implemented. I want to hire people from the marketplace to plant stuff. Currently you can harvest, and harvest/plow. I want to hire someone to plant stuff and alternatively harvest/plow/plant. Currently only super neighbors can do this. It'd also be nice to force what can be planted so the super neighbor doesn't decided to run raspberries on your farms all day.

Not sure if this is correct place to post...But...

Can we get the option to select which facilities we want our neighbours to work?
Or a select/deselect option when viewing them so we can choose which ones we need working on?

When I am hiring someone to work on my farm I always choose somebody who has not reached the maximum level. Is there a way to make a filter for this selection?

can we have a 'hire to water' option , so we can help players in need who are having a difficult time finding flowers or a specific flower to water for their farm pass tasks

[discovered today that if you hire them to harvest, and they just water the flower, it doesn't count] what we ended up doing is since once you hire we can then use the game chat,, he had to reload and use the green man to return to my farms and then when he used the watering can it worked ........ a hire to water option would have made it a lot more easy to help a fellow player out

----------------------

on this note can we pleaaaaase when we post our facilities to the wall, be given the option to have whoever works out posts to prevent them from watering ALL our flowers
i know we can disable that on specific farms but then other players we help out with watering tasks can't use the fields we have flowered out for pass purposes ...... it a real problem for me as several players are used to watering flowers when they work posts [grrrrrrr] be great if we could disable that abilty [just when they work wall posts]
still want strangers to be able to pop over and water with watering can
--------------------

can we please have a water with can only option vs just a disable water a field all together by everyone [except me] ...... this would also solve the above problem if the previous idea is not programable

I have no superneighbors because I don't take a chance on work being done before I have opened farm pass or accepted a new quest.

I think it would be nice to be able to hire from the marketplace to plant as well as everything else.

It would be great if you could hire someone who can use the harvest-plow-plant with the same crop tool.
